harvest situation

Hi mate, from my point of view I would give them now 24hrs darkness and then chop/ harvest, if you prefer a more cerebral and energetic approach. What I prefer personally is a split harvest from top crown to the lower level of my plants, normally the lower level flowers need a couple of days more than the crowns.so I start chopping only crowns, waiting a couple of days and then chop the rest. A disadvantage is that then you could not give them 24hrs darkness for Terpene maximizing. Have a great one and Cheers 🥂

There's genetic variet in traits, but those hairs still look long. So, the calyxes still have some plumping to do. The surface of the cola kinda changes once it's fully ripened... hard to explain.. but you'll see it. This is borderline as far as scoping the trichomes daily... i think you still hae at least a week, but again.. lots of variety in how some plants ripen over time... e.g. i've seen seemingly slower plants get in a rush at the end. All other signs pointed to a slow process, but bam, it finishes in a few days.

Don't let white stigmas keep you from harvesting if its hot. Some strains never get orange hairs, even after cured. But the ones that do turn color if there's a few white ones at the top that's just a plant trying really hard to make seed and failing. The rest of the birds are 70% or so orange she's probably pretty close.

Yeah I think she is. I see a lot of clear and alot of amber not to much milky. I'm not convinced milky is 100 percent the perfect time. Ive harvested stuff with lots of clears and it knocked me off my socks. To me once i start seeing a number of ambers it time to start thinking about it. I dont think many of us home growers have the means to really inspect trichomes in the detail or can really gain a scope of really what happening in there. A lot of times i will use my phone to get pictures but it gives clear trichomes the illusion of being milky but its reflecting the flash of the camera
