Honestly, I don't know if I should do any defoliation or something to the plants since this is my first grow, I'm asking for advice. The plants are about 24 days old.

There is no should or should not for you yet. That comes after you understand defoliation and what it does and does not do. Then you can say if its right for your grow goal. You have more than one plant, try it on one and observe what happens. When you study, through research, you'll know why, how, or why not to. Your education is up to you. Following directions blindly is imitation, not gardening skill, not knowledge.

No need to defoliate for now, the plant is still small and is only about 24 days into the vegetative stage. At this stage, the lower leaves play a key role in absorbing light and storing energy reserves. If you do defoliation this early, you'll just create unnecessary stress and could hinder development. It's better to wait until the structure develops a bit more and the foliage becomes dense to only remove the leaves that block light or ventilation.

Nope. Don't overgrow it and you shouldn't have to defoliate, ever. Selective pruning of a leaf here or there for very good reasons is fine.. but no need on this plant at this moment for sure.

Rationalize it. Da bigger da plant da more timming. Here just take a leaflet or two instead of a whole stem or a whole leaf ;) Itll give you a sense of accomplishment 🦉

NO. Less leaves = less energy being made = less potential. Especially with autos. Defoliation is NOT a required "technique" when growing cannabis and should only really be used if controlling excessive humidity is a problem. The plant "knows" what it is doing..................if it would not need those leaves, it would not grow them in the first place!

They are looking really good. I just realized it's an auto flower. They are much much more apprehensive about being cut the regular photoperiods. Doesn't mean you shouldn't do it you just need to be aware of it

I tend to not cut anything or much off of my plants. After a few years of growing only the very bottom stuff goes. You could take those few leaves that are touching the side of container that would be not too bad. It would give some more airflow and let those new shoots get some light. One thing I've been doing to help the bottom growth reach for the top is to make sure my soil level is at or near the top of the level of the pot that allows more airflow to the bottom instead of it, being stuck in a microclimate. Since it's your first grow, it would be nice for you to just see how a plant naturally flowers. I would give it another week, maybe two and veg and then flip a flower

Hello. I checked out your diary. It's about autoflowering plants. I only remove the lower leaves if they get in the way of watering or applying LST. During flowering, I remove the leaves that turn yellow.

Good morning, Honestly, I wouldn't touch it... First because it's autoflowering and then because it doesn't have a very big structure that justifies defoliation... Maybe you should move the light a bit further away to see if they stretch, creating more space between the branches and it will be perfect without causing stress...
