running autos in light mix right now too. plain water at first, it's only lightly fed, then start bio-grow once they're about 10-15 cm or have 2-4 sets of leaves, around 0.5-1 ml/L every second watering and go up slowly. for watering just lift the pot and only water when it feels light, and while they're small give a small cup around the seedling instead of soaking the whole pot

Distance from lamp should be about good coverage across entire canopy. Intensity of light should be about DLI. If you have to favor one or the other, focus on hitting proper DLI. 100w probably only going to cover 3-4 sq ft (depends on efficacy of light)... a bit more if you stick to autoflowers, because you don't need to run on a 12 hour schedule. Don't bite off more than you can chew. you'll just end up with a bunch of larf. Water like you would any standard potted plant. Marijuana isn't special in that regard. The only caveat is whether you are using 'soil' fertilizer or a soilless/hydro setup. -With soil you want some mininmal runoff to ensure full saturation, but not wasting your soil's nutrients... How often you fertilize depends on concentration of your feed and how you need to supplement that particular soil product over time. Some personal preference.. but the more often you add it, the lower the concentration you need, obviously. -With soilless you want 10% runoff or more every irrigation, religiously, and always fertilize with a well-balanced diet. I suggest treating it like a soilless medium. check out cocoforcannabis.com -- it doesn'tmatter if it's coco or not.. soilless is soilless if the medium is constituted properly. Soilless is the shortest learning curve, imo. If you have a good formula and stick to the required runoff, you are basically guaranteed good results without knowing much.

Hey TerpZila, I've used Light Mix multiple times for autos, worked great for me. Start feeding around week 2-3 with half dose of recommended nutes. Until then keep the soil moist but not overwatered. Seedlings need plenty of oxygen to establish a good root system, so just water around the seedling not the whole pot. Cheers.

I use biobizz light mix along with advanced nutrients so no need to test for ph. Make sure with autos you feed nutrients, plain water, plain water, nutrients, as your schedule

Heya, For beginners its easier to work with photoperiods (for a next run) hwoever. auto's are like always wanting to be in the perfect conditions. Therefore you'll need to have a few things checked. 1. Make sure you can control the tempratures. 2. Make sure you can control the Humidity 3. Take a good look at the Biobizz nutrients schedule (they have a spreadsheet for this) 4. Each lamp has its own specs. therefore you'll have to check with the vendor for the height and all.

Mix it with some perlite or clay pebbles(hydro ton) for aeration. Start in a small pot.. crack the seeds in water for 24hrs ISH...untill the roots looking at you then into the soil, place a dome over it for humidity or cling film over the top the untill she's standing up..The soil wants to be wet but not sloppy..good luck
