Hey growers ! What would be the best light intensity for my autos indoors ? I have 2x Spider Farms SF1000 100Watt with dimmer. The autos are just in the ground; they were planted yesterday, and I just put the lowest light intensity. But what's the right settings for that stage

Hey Bud, Recommended Settings for the Seedling Stage (Days 1–14) Light Intensity (Dimmer): 40% to 50% on each light. Hanging Height: Keep the lights 24 inches (approx. 60 cm) above the tops of the pots. Light Schedule: Autoflowers do very well on an 18-hour-on / 6-hour-off schedule (some growers even run 20/4 or 24/0, but 18/6 gives them a solid rest period). Good luck 🍀

same as photoperiods... Some low level algebra will lead you to the promised land, lol... For seedlings i'd start near 30% of what a mature plant would need - refers to DLI, not any particular grow light's setting as that depends on it being a good fit for the tent. Observe and react... you'll need to amp up over a short period of time until you reach full DLI for a mature plant Read up on DLI (daily light integral - wiki). That math gives you a good starting point, but you always need to observe and react to the growth in front of you.. that is what matters. 35-40 DLI is all you need for ambient co2 and avoiding extreme temp/rh combinations. The other recent light questions is relevant.. if you need some examples of how to use the information from the wiki.
