Lets get this grow started! This strain was purchased from a local dispensary in March of 2022 and it was also my first grow! This time it will be my 4th grow and the second time I have grown this strain and I'm taking everything I've learned and throwing it at this girl. Main changes - 1) New AC Infinity Cloudforge T7 will be sitting outside of the tent and vented in. 2) Installed a new drain line into the bucket for quicker water changes. Turns out draining a 5 gallon bucket through 1/4in tubing takes a little bit of time ;) I now have a 1/2in flex tube that I'll use to drain. (For anyone interested in doing this, there's a kit on amazon from General Hydroponics called "Farm Kit Hydroponic Drip System." I only used the tube/elbow/rubber grommet. You'll need to drill a hole between 3/4in and 13/16ths. I HIGHLY recommend getting a 'Step Drill Bit' for this as wing bits can easily mess up a bucket. Ask me how I know ;) ) 3) Switched back to Rapid Root plugs from rock wool. Rock wool did fine after some tweaking, but the PH of my water is on the higher side to begin with so I wanted the medium to be neutral this time. I did add some PH down to my water along with the rapid root to hopefully give this girl a good start. Everything else is mostly the same from my Watermelon Zkittles grow and I'm planning on following a similar dosing routine this time around. Check the pictures for my dosing schedule, I'm not an expert but this has worked for me! That's it for now! Happy growing friends and here's to a strong start for this girl!

Easy week! No ferts or changes from week one. I won't start dosing fert until I see a second set of true leaves. Might be next week, might be the week after.

Hello fellow growers! Ferts have started! The pictures today are pre-fert and you can see a little yellowing on the first set of true leaves but since I wasn't fertilizing yet, I think it was more a little bit of light burn from the high humidity in the tent. I've raised the light a little higher (still aiming for that 12-15" range) I've also gone ahead and added all the ferts I'll be using this grow. Since for whatever reason the General Hydroponics brand has been labeled Tera something now, instead of a second brand being added, they are all entered in as custom nutrients. I personally don't care why this has happened on the site, I know there's a lot of hatred out there for Scotts, but I have had a lot of luck with these nutrients. I want to keep labeling my ferts as the ones I'm actually using in case the recipe changes for the other brand. As far as I can tell we can't even get the Tera whatever here in the states. Moving on! Since I'm a complete nerd I've turned a little raspberry pi into a timelapse camera and stuck it in the tent. I'm hoping to make a vid out of this at the end but we'll have to see what happens. I've tried this before with a wyze camera and it always ended up breaking mid grow. Here's hoping this one actually does its job. So far it is!

Little bit late posting this but this pic is from when I flushed my water out. This is when ferts start getting ramped up heavy. Humidity has been dropped to 50%. Should have a very healthy looking girl starting next week! ( antijinx :p )

Here... We... Go! Now she's starting to take off. Older leaves had a liiiiiiittle bit of phosphorous deficiency but it's obvious it's from an early week where I wasn't dosing as hard. Top fan leaves are looking excellent. With hydro I like to start week in nutrients the first few weeks until the roots start taking up residence in the bucket and not the medium. They're all over the bucket now so next week I'm expecting to see a big growth spurt. I'll also be topping next week. The VERY light strength training is actually for the main stem. She started drifting to one side so this is to get her straight again. Next week I'll top her and we'll go from there!

Hahaha, she's gonna be gorgeous when all said and done. The **before** trim pics show off how well this girl is taking in the nutrients. Huuuuuuuge fan leaves off the bat, not seeing any nutrient issues... I also think she might be part fern 😂 The **after** pics are just getting rid of the giant leaves so the new stems can start getting some love too. LST all active stems, topped the main, and defoliated this week. I may have defoliated a little too much, but the leaves are so thick they were really dampening the stems underneath. We'll see how thick she has grown next week. I hope the video comes through, it's the month 1 timelapse. I was not expecting the stem to do a complete 360 before the roots finally latched on.

She came back just the way I wanted and now we have some much stronger stems. Backed off slightly on the micro and nitrogen nutrients because I was getting a little bit of tip burning. Defoliated a little bit underneath to get some lollipop in. Adjusted the tiedowns to keep the branches pulling away from each other for better light penetration later on. Two weeks from today I'll switch to flower, I don't like rushing the vegetation stage. Thanks for reading and have fun growing folks!

Dang, had to miss a week of updating due to work so I didn't get any pics this week. She's growing strong though! One more week of good growth and then switching to 12 hour lighting. The pic this week is of the week prior, had to post!

This is probably the third week in a row I have taken pics after I have already defoliated and did some more strength training so the pics make the plant look a bit funny :D The whole point of the screw/hook attachments on the rim of the lid is so I can train stems the way you're seeing. However, since the main stem where I topped earlier last month are out pacing the sides I decided to put on some plastic trainers. The stems were fine where they were but this will let the other stems catch up a bit in height. Other than that, this girl is rocking. She's very healthy, the stems are thick and I'm hoping for some big ol buds. The only defoliation I'm planning on doing now is anywhere fan leaves are covering buds, any leaves that are getting gigantic, and removing new growth/leaves from anywhere under the main canopy. Just gonna let her do her thing. Thanks for reading!

Still not really seeing any flowering which is strange to me. I decided to do a flush with FloraKleen because I was starting to get some bad nutrient burn. I let her sit in that solution for a couple hours, drained, and started put in ferts. I cut back the dosing on everything except Cal Magic this week as well to try and counter. She's weird! At the beginning she was craving extreme amounts of ferts and now she wants less. Hoping to see some buds starting to form soon as I'm getting a little worried about how tall shes getting. Only have so much room!

Missed my update last week but she's growing strong! Too strong actually :) I definitely should have switched to flowering in week 6, for some reason this girl had a heck of a time switching to flower and she grew way too tall. This week I tried to manage that by pulling back stems, and even bending some in order to get her low enough that she can continue flowering without any heat/light stress happening. I also did a full lollipop effect and also took out stems that weren't going to amount to anything since they were so new. Definitely possible that I did too much cutting this week, but I felt like I had to take a bit of extreme action in order to get her canopy lower. I'm sure she'll bounce back :)

So this week may blow up in my face :) I decided to switch nutrients from General Hydroponics to Advanced Nutrients. GH has been okay, but after viewing a lot of grows using advanced nutrients I wanted to give them a go to see what happens. I did a 2 hour flush using FloraKleen before I changed over to the new nutrients. I have a sneaking suspicion that the feed chart on their site is very wrong however, as it seems way too high. Gonna keep a close eye this week and flush again if necessary.

Gotta say I love the new fertilizers from advanced nutrients. I was worried about very high PPM values I'm measuring but so far, I'm just getting a little bit of tip burn which I'm fine with because the buds have started growing like crazy! Definitely be doing a week long flush at the end. I also learned this week that a plant not getting any light for 3-4 days isn't too big of a deal! My light died so I had to order a new one... and since it was during Christmas week, it took a little bit for it to come in. The good news is AC Infinity honored their warranty and I have a replacement for the broken one coming in a couple days. Easy!

Dang! Missed another week of updates! Definitely not missing any steps with taking care of this girl though. I started dosing Overdrive last week and into this week as well, I'm really liking the new fertilizer from Advanced Nutrients over GH. Just seeing a lot more growth in the flowering stage than I have in my past grows. I also really like the ease of use of this product, no more PH balancing. I have seen posts of people saying it doesn't work, others say it works great, in my experience it's working flawless. I've tested it multiple times and the PH always comes out to around 6.5. Your results may vary, test, but for me it works great! I think i have a 2-3 weeks left in this girl going by the trichomes, but we'll see where we get. Thanks for reading!

I have stopped all nutrients this week since in my mind it looks very close. This is my forth grow and I always feel like I'm harvesting too early so I'm purposely waiting a bit longer on this one, or maybe I'll pose the question on the site. I've never had any issues harvesting at this point, always a nice high when I smoke, but I feel like I should give this one just a little more time.

This is my fourth grow and every time I'm doubting myself when I should chop her down. Can I get your opinions? All microscopic pics are on the buds and not the sugar leaves. To me it looks like I'm close, about a week? If I'm off a lot in my time can you explain why? Many thanks!

Erm well this is completely upto you buddy you are in the milky stage no doubt about that if you were to chop here down now you would have peak potency though. this depends on what you want from your bud do you want it to make you feel really tiered so you go sleep ? then I would flower until you see a good splash of amber. do you want the strongest bud possible in terms of high I would crop now or do you want the most yield and weight from your bud then i would crop in about 2 weeks its just completely upto you buddy its your plant your rules :)
