Should I have trimmed the Bush?More than normal I have noticed a large amount of second growth at the base of the plant, im wondering if this is caused by adding new soil during flower? Or if this is normal? Also should I have just cut it off as it grew, seems to be a waste of energy as they won't get light.

Well FML, pop goes the main stem.Trying to bend a little bit more, then that dreaded sound, "pop". Like snapping a fresh carrot it is the sound of heart break. The tie had likely weakened that part of the stem, shouldn't be so aggressive. Any suggestions on how to nurse this break and mend my broken heart?

Chewed up leavesWondering if I should be concerned? They have just entered flowering, I have noticed a few leaves bearing this issue. I use ties which have ripped some leaves due to me not being gentle, and I spray a mild cannacure solition regularly.
