Don't have anything to compare this brand to since it's the only one I can find locally. I didn't notice any difference using Rootz when compared to my previous grows and the PPM they recommend is way too high. I'll give it another go for my fall/winter grow, but I'm thinking I'll go the organic route next time.

Compared to the previous lights used, the Mars Hydro definitely produced more trichomes than any of my previous (failed) grows. Though with the larger tent I've upgraded to, will need to acquire a second one in order to maximize coverage

If you think you need a bigger tent, you probably do. This tent is fine for growing one to two medium plants, maybe three if you can optimize the layout better than I had, but with everything else needed to grow (i.e. heater, fan, dehumidifier, etc), I often found I didn't have enough space to really do anything with. Upgraded to a 4x4 which is has given me enough room to grow more plants as well as keep the equipment needed inside.
