It’s a tent that doesn’t have light leaks but I did have to add an additional 4” hole for my intake fan.

Ken’s Granddaddy Purple

The grand daddy purple doesn’t look as good as the vanilla frosting but it smells like grape hubba bubba and it is strong. I will enjoy this smoke but I won’t be growing this strain again. I do have 15 that we just planted outside and it’ll be interesting to see how they turn out.

My initial report was written about 7 or 8 days after harvest. It’s been 21 days since harvest and the vanilla frosting is a great strain. Yesterday I smoked and it didn’t hit me right away but about 30 minutes later I was high as fuck. The high also lasted for a couple hours and I was very pleased. I build guitar parts and tonight I ripped a couple bonks hits and it’s a perfect high for me. Gets me stoned but focused. It’s also a very good looking strain. Very bright green, caked in frosting with a decent smell. It’s also one of those strains that taste so good you just want to keep smoking it. My stuff tested at 24% and I think I can do better when I do my next garden in august.

So I went to Florida for a couple weeks and when I came home I ran to grow tent immediately to see how my ladies looked. My ladies were completely dead. My water pump that I was using didn’t work properly and it appeared dumped 5 gallons of water on its first cycle. My plants were totally dried out and dead. It was very sad but on to the grow.

The NL yielded 78 grams. The stuff is strong, the taste keeps getting better everyday. The power outage I had 35 days into flower caused the both plants to hermie but not too bad. That’s the only issue I had. Of course it was on the first night the temperature dropped below 32 and I had watered that morning. The Super silver haze by Kera seeds came out awesome. I cut 2 of the smallest colas down on Monday, there tricomes were very amber so I cut them. After 6 days of drying those 2 colas weighed 20grams. The 7 big colas I chopped down today are all at least 3 to 4 the size of the first 2. Buds are dense and have the most interesting smell. From Spicy, skunky and when you squeeze the buds they smell fruity. I figured this plant will produce 80 to 90 grams in total. That’s over 150 grams off these 2 plants. I chopped one plant down because of the seed issue, (probably overreacted) but I would of pulled at least 50 grams from that plant. I pulled 150 grams off two plants that were 12” tall grown in 3 gallon pots using LST. I’m very happy with this grow and now I’m off to the future.
