Oh Lordy! I wasn’t enamoured with the smell of this from veg, the yeasty, bready terps, very meaty and unique (I’ve smelled similar but not quite the same) also with this runtz, fruity earthy smell and yes notes of strawberry!!! Yes that’s right!!! A strain which actually smells like its namesake. The density of these buds is the most impressive thing, they are rock hard bullets! They are very dark with purple hues and have this ‘modern’ cannabis feel about them which I haven’t achieved yet in a grow. I think this will be a great smoke and all the reservations I had about the smell will be flipped on their head and this will be my favourite. Definitely has the bag appeal. This was a free seed I popped to see what it was about and I’ve cloned and will run again, for sure.

JUST TO NOTE THIS IS FROM GROUNDED GENETICS NOT CONSCIOUS GENETICS. Apple fudge is a lovely looking plant, the buds are really fat and round, really healthy looking, has been throughout the grow. Smell is decent but considering it’s apple fritter and a gelato cross I don’t really get that. Hey though, I’ve not smoked it, and I’m only comparing this to other cultivars in this grow which I consider more to my taste. This is still a very good result, the buds are dense and such, don’t get me wrong.

So throughout the grow the Baklava was probably my favourite smell of the lot, very sweet and gelato creamy. This was the only one which didn’t go mad purple either (even though it did somewhat) and had pale fan leaves pretty early, looking the most ready, but actually came in perfectly really. The plant looked slightly smaller and more compact than others on this grow but actually I think yielded a fraction more than expected. When dried though, during trim & cure I got something of a blueberry terp from her, still sweet and fruity but not quite what I expected either. Lovely girl, highly recommended. Bet she’s a great smoke. I actually got some Baklava from The Plug in Amsterdam a few weeks back and thought, mine will never be as good as this, but it might just be you know? We’ll see.

I don’t smoke until after a half decent cure time, but these buds have me tempted. I’ve only grown two cultivars from In-house genetics and the Slurricane #7 was a mixed bag. Nice plant, grew well, possibly the Frostiest I’ve grown but the yield was poor for the size of the plant and had excessive sugar leaves, which looked pretty but better for making hash. The bud itself was nice smoke but after a proper cure (several months) it was truly AMAZING! So in fairness, overall good choice and I only popped one seed so these qualities, with good bud structure and it would be truly formidable. That’s kinda what we have here in the platinum jelly. Buds are better in structure, very frosty and with a really loud smell of sharp grape, jelly sweets and a hint of funk. I LOVE the smell of this weed and hope it translates into the flavour in the smoke because it’s truly amazing!!!! Happier with the yield.

This came out nice don’t get me wrong, but I feel not quite as impressed as I am with the other three plants in this grow. I haven’t smoked any of them yet so I’ve no idea EVERYTHING could change because you can only tell so much by smell and look etc… but I think you can tell enough and although this is very sticky frosty bud, it doesn’t quite have the smell and mad trichs of the other ones. Has a luminous green colour, less hairs, a citrus & mild diesel smell, the trichomes look like they have larger stalks, buds are reasonably compact (this had some airer stuff but not much)

Wow! This strain amazed me. I will give a smoke report, can’t wait to smoke PBC, I hope the taste comes through because the smell is something else! I noticed when it was growing it has that bready, wheaty smell with a fruity background. However when dried and curing, stick your nose in the jar and the smell is pure MANGOES and bread with a dark earthy tone. I don’t bullshit about smells with weed to make it seem more exotic or interesting, lots of them smell similar, and maybe don’t have very specific aromas, I’m not imagining it, this pheno of this cultivar, really smells of ripe mango, it’s gorgeous. Shame I didn’t take a cut. Anyway… ez come ez go.

Will update this when smoked, but the smell is very pungent, sweet and fruity skunk. I have a feeling this will be more of an uplifting high judging by past experience. Well… I’ve smoked it now and wow! Is the flavour pungent, it’s not hugely terpy with fruit or berries or creamy or anything like that, the flavour is good and smooth and everything but doesn’t have a huge amount of Zkittlez character was expecting sweeter, fruity nuance. It’s much more gorilla glue #4 leaning and heavy tasting, resinous and really coats your mouth and throat, I suspect it’s low to mid twenty percent THC because the effect was pretty powerful. Very enjoyable smoke.

This is some gorgeous triched out bud. I don’t know whether it’s just this pheno but this was not a bushy plant, had vigorous growth but not really anything around the buds, they may have dried out a little more than desired, the flavour is a little harsh, but bare in mind this is extremely strong and does coat your mouth with flavour, it’s just a little rougher, maybe could do with more curing. All that being said, Runtz muffin is impressive and was my favourite plant (shouldn’t have favourites I know….love your girls equally everyone) visually of this grow, and even when harvested the buds are pretty. But bag appeal means fuck all without the flavours and this is a little harsh to me. Who knows could improve.

Well for a free seed this was just a punt and I think I lucked out on the pheno, only looks wise compared to others I’ve seen, Lemon tree seems to have quite the variations, should’ve taken cuts of this in hindsight, but oh well. Yielded big. The aromas are great and the buds are big and like bullets, even the lower stuff and made great lemony hash, I mean what more can you ask for?

Green gelato turned out good, had some lockout and slow feeding/water yet was pushing out new pistils and the buds were packing on the size very well, didn’t look finished by hairs or trichs (they were virtually there) & looked to be yellowing and declining so she came down. She probably yielded about 7 plus ounces as she was a huge plant (for me) but about 2 ounces was larf.

Beautiful compact plant yielded pretty well in the end, looked less than the other two but the flowers were much tighter & had perfectly formed, denser and heavier, almost picture perfect nuggs.

Found a couple of seeds in this, a couple of minor naners had popped out towards the end of flower. This pheno of Blue cheese felt distinctly middling, skunky and blueberry tinged and earthy, felt quite oldskool. Big plant yielded 6 Oz which is good.

I liked this strain considering it was just a freebie I popped. I’ve never smelled terps with a positive ‘cakey’ vanillic sweetness before, in all my years of cannabis enthusiasm, I could smell it when it was growing and after the fry an cure that flavour came through lightly. Decent yield I could’ve let her go on a touch longer perhaps but she was definitely ready to come down with the other two.

Very compact little plant, very frosty buds in the end with the hard structure I look for, wildly popular with everyone who smoked it, flavours were mellow and uplifting. A creeper strength wise too, caught some less seasoned smokers unaware this one. Yield was the lowest of the bunch but at 3 1/2 ounces of solid weed from one plant who’s complaining?

The buds came out frosty and very cool looking. Structure wasn’t airy exactly but not as dense as I like. Flavours are very strong lavender/earthy fuel and definitely berries. Reminded me of purple haze from about 1994 or something but waaaay more dank. Taste wise not my favourite terps but for a free seed punt, this thing is unbelievably good. The brand were banding about 33% THC which is outrageous but I’d say this came out 20% plus.
