I've been smoking this for a good while now and am really impressed. It's a wonderful relaxing high, calming and chill. I'm not too wrecked to do household chores, but the potency is definitely up there. There's a subtle hint of grape to it, but mostly it just tastes like weed. I'm happy with the yield at 9.8 ounces dry, but I am a little disappointed in the bud density. It's definitely on the fluffy side and isn't very dense. Really that's about the only downside to it though, and the reason I'll knock off a star. At the end of the day though I'd highly recommend growing this.

This strain has loads of potential, but with one plant going herm on me the overall bud quality for both was obviously affected. Number 1, which was the normal healthy one, grew wonderfully. She had the frost, she had the terps, she had the bulk, but towards the end she started growing seeds. Number 2 was the oddball, going herm on me and ultimately proving susceptible to bud rot even though the environment was in pretty good shape with lots of airflow. I'm guessing this is certainly not the pheno HSC intends for us to be growing and will chalk this one up to simply losing the genetic lottery. The high is really great on both, plenty of potency but it never really makes you feel incapacitated. This is a very functional, happy, mood boosting high. It's a shame the physical bud quality doesn't match the quality of the high. Both ended up pretty fluffy in the end and really burn right up. Number 1 has some underdeveloped beaners in it, with an occasional full seed. Number 2 is absolutely full of seed, and while smokeable, is not something I would show off to anyone. The plan for now is to come back and grow this one again in a few months, I think she's proved that the potential is there if I can weed out any bad phenos.

Even with the herm and seed issue, grinding a bud up and smoking it is still actually pretty good. She's a daytime smoke, very functional. The potency is OK, nothing to knock your socks off but perfectly acceptable for any strain. Obviously this is not the best representation of this strain, but considering my circumstances I'm still pretty impressed. The taste is exactly like you'd think, a sharp orange citrus flavor to start with a pleasing cookie flavor on exhale. I'll need to come back to this one as I see loads of potential here, it just wasn't meant to be on this grow in particular.

What an absolute punch this strain packs. This is by far the most potent stuff I've ever grown. I did grow two very different phenos, but even with the big differences between growing the two the final smoke is pretty similar. The tall one with the reds and purples hits like a truck immediately, with what I would call a nice indica leaning hybrid feel. The shorter, more green pheno is a creeper, taking around 10-15 minutes to really set in, but with largely the same effect. Taste and smell for both are about the same with a fruity, sweet vibe, but this isn't a very terpy strain overall it seems. And so I feel I have to knock a star off, mostly because in the end she doesn't truly have a standout smell or taste. It's a mostly generic weed flavor with maybe a hint of fruit in the background, but that's about it. Also a reason to knock a star off is that my tall pheno was clearly very susceptible to powdery mildew while the short pheno right next to it didn't have a single bit on it. Another negative was the final yield, which for both was right about 8 ounces (4.7 oz from the tall, 3.5 oz from the short). I've pulled 12 ounces from this same setup before so it was a little lighter than I hoped. Density is fine but I wouldn't say she's super dense. All together she's a little bit of a one trick pony. Massive potency and a great effect but no special terps, no crazy density, no big yield, and big differences between phenos. Man that's one hell of a trick though. In the end I'm very pleased with how it all went.

This is definitely night time stuff, probably the first strain I've grown that makes me want to do nothing at all and just relax.

The grow did go great using only this in the same amounts for the entire grow. I'm trialing the GH Flora trio instead of this to see if there's much of a difference

Nothing wrong with it but it made a mess in my reservoir. Probably great for hand watering though.

I'm not sure what this brand is and why it's trying to replace all my GH stuff, but it all works well

According to everyone I know who smokes, albeit not nearly as much as me, this is really great weed. Personally I think it's a solid daytime smoke, but it came out a little on the average side for potency. The few people who have smoked it tell me I'm crazy for thinking it's not terribly potent. This is eye opening to me, because I think this is the first time I've realized how much my tolerance has been increasing over the past year. It also brings in to focus how many factors there are when looking at "rankings" for strains and just how personal it all ends up being. So in the end I think a 9 out of 10 is appropriate. It's obviously beautiful weed, bag appeal is out of this world. It may have plenty of potency for the average joe, but for a regular like me it's not exactly mind blowing. Maybe that is partially my fault, maybe not. But Ethos does advertise a crazy 30% cannabinoid number, and even if the Jack's nutrients weren't perfect for it I still expect more. I did switch nutrient lines after this so I expect I'll come back to it in the future just to double check myself.

This is just good weed. It leans indica, but doesn't knock you down. It strikes me as almost "old school", nothing real fancy going on here. No unique flavors or tastes, no unexpected effects. It's just good plain weed, exactly what you would expect. And that's a good thing sometimes.

It's fine, but zipper gets stuck a lot. Enough to where it's really got me wanting to replace it.

I really like this strain. Growing it was super easy, I barely needed to do anything to it and it was super happy the whole grow. The smoke is really interesting, with about 3 "levels" you can pick based off what you're looking for. 1 or 2 quick puffs gives a mild, more CBD like feeling. 3 or 4 good puffs is a very functional and very calming solid high. And if you wanna smoke a whole bowl you'll be zoning out baked in no time. Tastes exactly like you would expect, being Wedding Cake crossed with Double Grape and Creme de la Chem. Vanilla with some gas and grape thrown in. Even though I'm super happy, I absolutely should have given this strain another week or 2 as it wasn't quite finished. I'll have to come back to it again soon.

I came into this grow with high expectations. My last Sour Stomper got chopped early due to issues, but the effect from it was probably the best day smoke I ever had. Extreme euphoria, plenty of giggles, and energy enough to do things around the house. This time around the effect is slightly different, less of the extreme euphoria and more of a typical 50/50 "yeah, I'm baked" feeling. The potency is certainly there, and the flavor even before a proper cure is exactly what I expected with the sour grape. I am a little sad this particular seed produced a more generic effect as opposed to the super uniqueness of the last one, but this being only my second grow of this strain I can't say for certain which is more representative of the strain. I'll likely try it again soon. Final yield from this one plant was 2.7 ounces.

This grow started great, and quickly devolved into nutrient lockout with no new growth happening. Chopped them down much too early once I decided it was best to start over. I didn't bother getting a scale out, but both plants together likely gave me a little over an ounce. Pretty horrible yield but that was obviously my fault. All that said though, this is still fantastic weed. Wonderful daytime smoke with just enough body buzz to feel really good, and it can bring on some giggles and smiles. Absolutely redoing this one.
