Dimmer failed. Lost adjustability in the driver. On 100% it is only 250ppfd at 3 inches. But if you shut off the dimmer the light is working fine and has not lost much at all since stock. 94-96 watts maxed

Exotic Gelato Mint (from seed): 1 small plant, 18-19 inches tall max. Did not fill a 2x2 I was in a rush to get a sample and still pulled off just about 3 OZ of completely usable smoke, not the larf or garbage, true jar worthy bud. Grew short, stretched little. Demanded little. You have to run lean on nitrogen especially in flower. She doesn't need a high feed program. Branches are very strong. Trellis is not necessary. Bud density is middle of the road. They are still firm but the buds are larger, not small, tight and compact. I went 71 or 72 days from flip. The final product is not TOP shelf but it's def considered very good just not GREAT. I only say this because it doesn't check every single box with a high score. Looks are nice, but compared to some it's not as top shelf looking. Taste is nice Very lemony smelling and tasting + herbal, that is it. No dankness or skunk. I believe it has alot left on the table. First run, learning curve. Smelled amazing in flower. Effects are nice. It's an all day smoke with an old school stoney feel to it that's not real heavy for long but rather nice. Smoking a J is perfect the way this bud grinds up. It's also maintained some stickiness. I had few issues on a first run and 2nd run clones are growing so much faster and yes they can grow taller with time but they will bush out nicely with topping more so than growing north at first. At peak of veg where I have maxed out space. They are now getting to the height I need before flip. With the expectation that it won't stretch much however the clones are doing much better. I'm also running in organic amended soil of my own blend. It's going better than I could expect for my first organic run. These clones love it. 7/10 because it truly is enjoyable to smoke on with a flavor that's there but mellow and won't alert every person in the area. Happy with the first pheno found and I will run more but first to master this cut. It could be much better next round with more care and understanding. Each strain reacts differently to your watering, feeding and environment so that is always considered and adjustments are necessary to confirm quality. Thanks

Finally catching up to this grow. I had a few more clones that I ran after this and the results are what I'm showing, not this exact plant as I may have lost photos. Same exact cut though 2.5 Oz of smokeable bud I did not put any in a trim bin I removed them from the plant for smokeable buds only. I could have kept more beneath but I wasn't sure how well it would go beneath the canopy. This cut is a pain in the ass. It can't hold itself up for long in flower. The final smoke on this is decent it's just not amazing. I'm sad to say I removed the cut from circulation. It just doesn't cut it for me. I had issues too as a bad back got me down a while.

Bud rot is possible in anything but it's pretty tolerant even if humidity is on the high side. Spider mites don't disapprove of Mac 1 so that is possible but the plant handles them if you can keep control and remove them. Bud washing is safe for this strain. I do it if mites had ever been present during a grow even if they had been rid completely. Yields are 2-3 oz per plant with a 2x2 space. I have seen over 3 but it's tough. This is smokeable bud in talking not larf at the bottom, I remove that usually unless I want hash material. Very great in flower ! Clone able for years. Just keep re cloning. Smoke is smoothhhhh, plus tasty it's an earthly, thick hashy grape smoke. Stinks like skunky weed. Very mellow you out, stone your eyes high. You will be chill, not jumping around but it doesn't stop you completely from working but will eventually at night set you in the couch for sleep. Enjoy! Power supply ballast lasted 2-3 years before adjustability was lost. If you bypass the power adjustment option and go wide open switch they work the same as they did. But adjustment is gone. This is typical over time but went fast on all 4 that I have.

All photos are 100% my photos! Absolutely amazing as expected. The buds are so frosty, so rock hard dense. An oz looks like a half oz because of it's weight. The flavor is unbelievable. Magical fruity flavors that are rich and deep yet soft and soothing. It has a slightly earthly, slightly diesel touch on the end but the majority of the diesel is in your fingers from pushing down a packed bowl. The smell in the air does have some diesel lingering now. It just took a long while to cure it to that point. At minimum I think Mac 1 needs 2 months of curing to smell and taste at its peak or more. Iv done 2 rounds and flowering my 3rd round now. I love it. Only downfall is very early stages of growth are just a hair slower until she is more mature. Also l, the cuts root slowly so they have to be in good condition. A few or more days than most other cuts I have run before. Also, beware!!!! The bud is so frickin dense at the tips that bud rot is easily something that can happen. Def use fans for a few days before slowly your airflow during drying. It's a risk every harvest IMO when u try optimize your drying conditions. Lower humidity may be ok. Takes a while to dry even when conditions aren't perfect. 1 plant in 3 gallon pot got me over 4 oz of perfect smoke. Had plenty more I stashed

Works just fine

The buds have the most density you can possibly have in bud. Un real. This came with threat of bud rot which I had just a very small amount of in some of the very top buds. These were completely removed and took bud only from the next node. The bud dried a touch more than I hoped at 11 days and I lost some smell and taste but when smoked it does still have some taste close to a fried cream taste. Very smooth smoke. Absolute dream for making rosin etc. So much dusting! Very effective smoke nice relaxing buzz. Over 6 ounces from one plant in 3 gallon pot. With 200 watts used.

Skunky, creamy and very earthly. Gets you NAILED in the couch if you smoke to much at night. Very decent smoke just not amazing. The taste can always be better. Stinks up an entire room just opening the jar though!

These grew very well. Very high yield and bag appeal. Terps didn't come out as high as I liked but def dank. 7/10 not to bad. These yielded nearly 4 ounces from plant 1 and over 4 ounces from plant 2 and I left a ton of smaller buds aside so this was very good.

No issues using FF trio

First time using and the results were much better. Great root zone. Could feed heavier next Rd.

Shitty tent. Pole corners are weak, poles are weak and light leaks around. Don't buy this one. It's been working but I'm concerned.

I love my sf 1000s

This run included two new phenos. 1 that stretched more than any other and 1 that displayed the most color and smell however the calyx to leaf ratio on it was extremely bad. 90+ % leaf imo. So much frost on nothing but leaves. I also had for some reason more trouble this round with yellowing early however I believe I figured it out. My temperature at the canopy to humidity ratio has been off. **Growing still went easy and they were small as expected and I had the space I needed. Very predictable for the most part. The smell is unbelievably sweet candy like during mid to late flower. It's crazy. The same smell is now present in the jar with some earthly/cheesy smells present. It's a sweet, earthly cheese like a cheesecake as other batches have proved to be. I only get 1 pheno that is without the sweetness but it wasn't in this batch. All around great buzz. Middle of the road, balanced smoke that can be used all day. The terpenes are higher than you would expect from little autos. Great little plant. Still happy with these.

These lights are pretty decent for 1 plant. They can be run right up to the bud in mid/late flower at 80% power output with no damage but don't necessarily recommend it. This was between 74-78watts at the wall on another grow
