Incredible strain! Her smell, taste & appearance were in my top ten of all time! She had one of the highest densities out of any auto or even photoperiod I’ve grown. If you can get your hands on this strain take advantage of it and buy as many beans as you can!

This was my first time growing a Dutch Passion autoflower strain and I must say I am very impressed! Although one pheno turned out to be pretty bad, the other two that I grew were some of frostiest, best smelling auto strains I’ve grown! I believe the “northern lights” light schedule may have even produced the bad pheno as it could have triggered more ruderalis than indica or sativa. I would need to test this light schedule again with the strain vs without to get a solid answer because it seems that I’m the only grower who has come across this mutant, thc/terp-less variant. Pheno #1 and #2 both were harvested around DP’s recommended times. The third phenotype took a while to mature but she was my heaviest yielding over 72grams not including trim or porpcorn buds!

Besides the small yield the buds produced from this Sweet Seeds strain were very impressive! I tested out a couple different potting mixes and looking back now I wish I had picked a freebie seed to test with. The buds are some of the most aromatic I’ve ever smelt, the purple phenos almost smell like diesel and red wine ⛽️ 🍷🔥 the green/purple phenos had a more fruity/skunky type smell 🍉 The purple phenos also had sugary resin drops all over the buds! I’ve only ever seen this in pictures and was pretty stoked to see it on my homegrown. I plucked them off and added them to my scissor hash and smoked that while I was trimming, which was delicious btw! 😋 Now onto the soil I was testing ... Normally I make my own soil but this past year has been hectic trying to find the supplies I normally get. Covid created a big growing boom in Michigan and almost everything I needed to build a soil properly was out of stock and outrageous to ship to my home. I wanted to find a soil that is available throughout my town at hydro shops and the Baby Bu’s and Nectre For The Gods are carried at almost every store. Both soils had “premium ingredients” and sounded great on paper. Both are geared towards living Organics but both fell short of their promises. The Baby Bu’s was unbalanced from the beginning and stunted two different type of phenos making them look almost identical. The yield from the two plants grown in the Baby Bu’s was maybe 10grams total not including trim? The other two grown in the NFG mix yielded slightly more but nothing that I was hoping for. I think both types of soil are fine if you use bottled nutrients or plan to add other amendments like castings, basalt, etc. But on their own I wouldn’t recommend either for autoflowers.

This was my first time growing Roc Bud genetics. I was impressed with the quality of the buds but wasn’t too impressed with the yield. There was purple and pink hues all throughout and her fan leaves became almost black. She smells just like gushers and there’s a huge amount of trichomes all over the buds. I’m excited to grow the strains I actually purchased from them after testing this freebie!

White Widow Auto

This White Widow Auto from Crop King was a great strain to grow! She was resilient to environmental stress and heat and yielded a huge amount in the minimal amount of space I had! I had originally planted four seeds but unfortunately only 3 made it. I decided not to plant another seed because the others were already a couple weeks ahead. This white widow grew about as long as most photo period plants so that might have helped with the yield. I grew these three White Widows in a Stealth Box which is only 20inx20in and about 30in tall. It comes equipped with a quantum board full spectrum 100w LED light. I remember posting this grow box on a couple forums and Reddit. Mostly everybody said that this box was too small and I’d be lucky to get 2-3oz even under the best conditions. I’d say that I proved them wrong at 7.57oz 😂 The two smaller plants yielded 55g each and the largest gave 100grams! That puts my avg gram per plant around 70g. If the fourth plant had survived I would have been in the 10oz range which is insane for growing in 3.24 square feet and only having 27in of room between the top of the pot and the light! The medium I grew these in was from a boutique brand in Colorado called Miller Soils. I went with their Red’s Premium Bio Char Blend which was a great choice. I was very impressed with how well balanced this soil was. I’m a big believer in BioChar and these guys got the ratio dialed in on this one! I used the Advanced Nutrient organic line which did not disappoint! I have really started to become a big fan of these liquid bottled nutrients. The people over at AN really make a high quality product! To dry these girls properly I hung them for 3 days and then transferred individual stalks into the WeDryer for 3-4 days. I used the Diamond Cut Co. “The 6-5” scissors to trim these girls and I was very happy with how well these scissors cut and trimmed buds. There is really no play/space in-between the blades. The scissors have a nice weight to them as well and the spring isn’t too powerful so these trimmers really don’t make my hands fatigued after a couple hours of trimming like some of the $5 trimmers can. The 6-5 has a fine needle point tip which was great for getting into all of those tight nooks and crannies. What was great is that the blades also seemed to stay sharper and less gunked up than my other scissors. Overall I’m happy with how everything turned out!

This blueberry auto is by far one of my favorite autoflowers. Her buds were just as dense as any photo period plant I’ve grown and her look, strength and smell is top shelf 👌 She became so dense actually that she developed mold just a few days before the planned chop. I learned my lesson for the next time around, keep humidity below 40% and make sure to get all dead leaves from inside the dense cola because they get trapped in there during the fade. Overall this strain really surprised me for being a freebie, I’m glad I grew it and will happily buy these seeds again for future grows!

This strain from FastBuds is truly something special. I have never smelt a strain with such a complex terpene profile. It smells as if there are 5 strains mixed into one jar, it’s unbelievable! I grew these plants in a compact Stealth Box, made by Stealth Box in Vancouver, Canada. This micro grow environment was absolutely perfect for my household. It comes with everything you need to grow high quality buds! This grow box comes with a quantum board full spectrum led light, built in fans for circulation, a carbon filter fan for scrubbing, drip tray pan and a locking door to keep nosey people or children out. It really just looks like a locker or a cabinet and doesn’t scream I’M A GROW TENT the first second you see it. It kept my house smell free and it was extremely easy to control the environment since it’s only around 3.25 square feet total! This grow box is small but can effectively grow up to 8oz if you can manage the height of the plants! I managed a little over two ounces with just three (one runt) plants, the box can fit four 2.2gallon fabric pots. I was also growing a blueberry from seedsman in the box as well so once I harvest that plant, technically this single box will have yielded over 3oz. That’s very impressive for 3 square feet and 100w! I am happy that I chose this over some of the other compact options that were out there. This box is made from steel and it is built like a tank! Check them out at stealthboxUSA.com or stealthbox.ca I dried the plants whole for three days in complete darkness. I then cut each individual branch and transferred the stalks into a WeDryer. This dryer looks like a average hang dryer except it is completely sealed and uses a small dc fan at top with a carbon filter to lightly draw air upwards. There is a small mesh hole at the bottom that allows a gentle airflow to flow upwards into the carbon filter and out the exhaust fan at the top. The draw is hardly noticeable but it’s enough to allow slow and even dry without mold or over drying. I allowed the buds to sit in here for about 3 days and then pulled them out and did the final trim. I then transferred the buds back into the wedryer for their final dry and that took about another 3 days. Their humidity was around 62% when finished which is quite optimal. I was just able to test the buds today I must say that this is by far one of the smoothest strains I have ever smoked. It feels like it’s going to be harsh at first, because you can tell it’s strong but then the smoke comes out almost creamy. It’s crazy because I’ve never smoked a strain that doesn’t make me cough or choke up a little but this one goes down like some Grey Goose! The taste is interesting, it’s not the most flavorful I’ve had but it is pleasant. It tastes earthy and fruity at the same time. One thing that I wasn’t crazy about was that she is a pretty larfy strain. My total yield was 67.34g from 3 (practically 2-1/2 plants) but around 9.87g was unusable buds and sugar leaf. I’ll spare these for my dry ice dry soft hash 😎 I would definitely recommend this strain and I will be growing this again soon Forsure!
