The only problem I had with these nutes was the silt/residue in the reservoir.

Excellent lamp, very intense. I've had 1.96g/w before with this 135w lamp dimmed to 100w in a 55cm x 60cm x 115cm space. As far as vegging and mother plants go, it's good for quick growth but too big for my space to keep mother plants healthy long term. Would be better on lowest power close to the plants to negate the need for calmag.

Yield and bud structure. This plant was a real pleasure to grow, showing only a little bit of fuss in the early days before she found her feet. This was down to me starting her in coco and not quite getting the watering right due to inexperience with coco. Once she got some roots out she was solid and only showed problems after my work getting in the way and a couple of late waterings, thus her tips getting burnt. After that though she handled the one feed fits all nicely and thrived when the Blumat drippers were installed. Seemed like a short indica leaning hybrid during the veg period, before the sativa side of her showed it's face when going into flower. After the initial 3 weeks stretch she seemed to carry on stretching as the colas started building and she just kept on building fresh calyx until the end, like she was never going to finish. I had planned on 8 colas, like the Amnesia, but I broke a branch while removing a plant bend and ended up with 6 great looking colas, the main being nearly 2 feet long (22"). The buds are airy and squishy with small but many calyx and the harvest of the colas produced 104g of power tackle. The 2nd harvest 11 days later produced another 29g, so altogether 133g from a 7.6L fabric pot. The trim was dried and frozen along with the Sweet Amnesia haze trim (33g total) and produced just short of 3g ISO oil. The whole grow including my other plants at the back produced about 1.3g/w with the Sweet Seeds plants at the front equalling those at the back.

Yield and bud structure. This plant was a little fussy from early on, showing Calcium problems from about day 13 due to environmental conditions. Being a lot shorter than the TPFV she was topped less times for 8 colas and grew into a bush with nice symmetry. She carried on being fussy for a while and I ended up over feeding her while trying to meet the Tropicanna Poison's needs but she fared well. My aim was to do all pruning before switching to 12/12 for minimum stress as the flowers developed. But I never took enough from her lowers at that time and ended up having to prune small lower shoots off as she developed into flowering mode. This was done very steadily in a stress free way over a couple of weeks, but will surely have cost me in yield from wasted energy that could have been directed to the tops earlier. However, she still yielded 79g of very sweet smelling buds with large stacking calyx and the top buds being quite firm, the lowers being more squishy. Steady defoliation was carried out through flowering to allow more light to the lowers, but with the plant being quite short and the LED on low power it didn't quite cut it. Still, I'm pleased with the yield for the size of the plant :) In hindsight I think she'd have done better with the CMH overhead instead of the LED on low power.

Yield and bud structure. I'm very pleased with the yield this plant produced from a 7.6L pot using a Blumat system for the first time and minimal initial training, just a few toppings for 10 main colas and a bit of bending with plant bendz. The plant was large and stretchy with buds well spaced out and they were nice and firm from top to bottom, top and mid buds being solid with large dense calyx. The extra bit of bending to open her out and keep her down as she stretched contributed to the mid canopy buds being pukka, as well as the genetics. She grew well with no real problems on a one feed fits all, but I tried my best to base the feed around this one with it being the biggest. She didn't really go hungry through flowering but got a nice fade on near the end as I reduced the nutes. The idea was to make all the plants in the tent happy and that wasn't an easy task with a 6 bottle feed being added to rich compost with slow release guano, so the SAH suffered a bit of over feeding. I wasn't sure if I'd put the TPFV on plain water too soon or if it was the low humidity that caused a lot of the older leaves to curl up in the last week or so, but they came off steadily and allowed more light to the lower buds. I reckon it was the low humidity causing over transpiration. The LED above her was turned up steadily throughout the flowering stage to avoid stress and I only got as high as 230w by day 44 before noticing stress and tell tale signs of Calcium problems appearing on some of the plants (I had lowered humidity for fear of rot). This wattage was only maintained for 3 days before I dialled it down to 220w on day 47. I started dialling the far red down on day 56. It was fully down by day 59, leaving the blue wattage at 183w for the rest of the grow. This totalled 498w along with the CMH at the back. At a guess I'd say this plant and the other 2 Sweet Seeds plants at the front were only getting about 100w from the end of the CMH reflector, so about 320w total from day 47 to day 59. Then 283w from then until chop. So I was quite impressed that this plant yielded 139g, just shy of 5oz :D I'd recommend training this plant low and wide for a monster yield. Just make sure you have the lateral space because she will go wild, even if her final pot is well rooted out before flowering and day/night temps are close. I could have maybe tamed the stretch a bit more by turning the power up earlier but I was aiming for a stress free grow and also higher lamp power might have negated the close day/night temps I was trying to keep.

Psicodelicia®
Growing it

The Psicodelicia was harvested all in one go on day 75 after being on plain water for 21 days. By this time her colas were hanging down all over the place so I had to fit a frame around her just so I could take her out for Photo's. With the plant leaning over so much it was difficult to get full cola pics so most of the photo's are just of the tops. The top buds were quite firm and dense, just not as hard as some of the other plants, these being more sativa. The lowers are more airy as I expected for a 70% sativa. The calyx were large and swollen. I kept her growing for too long and this resulted in a few late flower nanas on some colas but she was a strong plant all through the grow. So that was my fault. I was waiting for all the clear trichs to turn milky but she just kept throwing more clear ones out. She should have been chopped a bit sooner. Keeping her going resulted in more amber trichs than I'd wanted, creating more body stone than I'd wanted. So I have put 40%/60% on the slider instead of the Indica/Sativa 30%/70% stated by Sweet Seeds. If I grow her again I'll take her earlier. I was a bit concerned about the high being too racy but this was far from the case at the stage I harvested. Fresh trimmed, her colas were hung to dry for only 8 days before going into the jars. With her buds being less dense she dried quicker than the others but not too quickly that chlorophyll would be left in the buds. In the jar photo the humidity shows 56% but I'd only just put the hygrometer in there. It rose to 57% after a couple of hours and settled at 60% after 24 hours so the dry worked out ok and no harsh tasting chlorophyll. She weighed in at a very respectable 158g under the circumstances of being crammed into 0.24m2 :) 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 158g / 105w = 1.5g/w 158g / 0.24m2 = 658g/m2 Scissor hash. Aroma. Smooth subtle orange, woody spices and a hint of coffee. Taste. Sweet tasting with an oily black hash aftertaste that turned more sour after a while. Effect. More or less instant hit to the head that progressively got stronger with a bit of confusion (amnesia). Takes a good 10 or so minutes for my head to get around the initial intense hit and then it clears into a happy uplifting high. Body relaxed but head says go. I don't think the initial 10 minute buzz would suit me for the daytime if out and about, as it's a bit intense. I think some bubble made from cured buds and then cured for a while longer would suit me better than the scissor hash. Either way this was still a top smoke :D Buds. Aroma. Subtle oranges, wood, spices and tiny hint of coffee while in the jars. When ground up it smelled just the same at first, no stronger. But after curing for a few weeks it did get stronger when ground up, as expected. Taste. Old school black oily hash taste and some sweetness. Not sure if the sweet taste is the orange I can smell in the jars though. It's just sweet. Effect. The high is clear and uplifting, motivational and very nice. Body relaxing too, mainly the upper body, heavy relaxed shoulders. This ganja suits me ok for the daytime but a little bit heavy on the body for the daytime smoke I thought it was going to be. It's motivational in the head but the heavy upper body just makes me want to relax. Better luck next time lol Final overall yield. Red Mandarine F1 Fast Version: One harvest............76g. Indigo Berry Kush: 1st 53g, 2nd 58g. Total...........111g. Killer Kush F1 Fast Version: 1st 99g, 2nd 27g. Total.126g. San Fernando Lemon Kush: 1st 114g, 2nd 31g. Total....145g. Do-Sweet-Dos: 1st 121g, 2nd 14g. Total...............135g. Psicodelicia: One harvest............................158g. Total.....751g / 630w = 1.19g/w. 6 strain Sweet oil. The trim from all 6 plants, some popcorn nugs and 5 or 6 buds that fell off the stalks while trimming, were weighed and came to 129g bone dry. The materials were split into 2 large Kilner jars and put in the freezer along with 2L of ISO for a couple of hours to freeze up before I started. I washed each jarful for 2 and 1/2 minutes in ISO, then squeezed and wrung the tincture through a muslin cloth and handkerchief. It was then filtered through doubled up unbleached coffee filters into two jars to speed things up. I poured the 2 jars into one and put it under an LED for an hour to get rid of the chlorophyll. I wasn't happy with the colour so it went back under the lamp for another hour. The ISO was boiled off in a rice cooker directly in front of a 6" RVK fan set to 50% on a DIY variac controller, to take the fumes straight away from the top of the cooker. This took 1 hour and 10 minutes for the alcohol to be removed. 10 minutes before it had totally boiled off I propped the cooker up on one edge so the oil ran down to one edge of the bowl to make syringing it easier. Then it was decarbed with the rice cooker set to warm for three 2 hour sessions, agitating the oil every now and then to help release the carbon. It was left overnight to settle between each session. I ended up with 12g from 129g so that works out at a 9.3% return which I'm very pleased with from a run of mostly trim. I've got to say peeps, this is the tastiest best smelling oil I've ever made and I'm over the moon with it :D The taste is sublime, leaves a thick coating of sweetness in my mouth for ages before the oily taste comes on. Instant up high with an electric buzz. Slight visuals like I could see electrical energy in the air the first time I tested it, but my head was also tired at 3:30am. Totally relaxes my neck and shoulders and makles me feel great. This is real medicine for me, thankyou very much indeed Sweet Seeds. You guys definitely know your stuff. Happy grower here :D

Not sure why Plant magic root stim has come up, I used Intense Nutrients Foundation root stim but I had to add it as custom. It is fantastic. It really gives the plants a boost from the off. Quite expensive compared to others but well worth it in my opinion. I've used PM root stim plenty of times in the past but I only ever used it regularly at 1ml/L. The IN stuff, I used at 2ml/L. I might try the PM stuff at 2ml/L when I run out of IN and see if it compares. I only use Bio silicon in small doses as I find it burns my plants when used on top of other feeds. It doesn't really need to be used alongside rootstim and IMO they should be used alternately. I don't use Bio silicon past week 3 of flower.

I've had my Mammoth Pro 120 for a few years. It is quite robust, hard wearing with a strong zip and is still doing fine. Only downside is it leaked pinpricks of light from the start, especially through the ducting socks. This is fine, with my attic being 100% lightproof but I can't go up there and turn lights on outside the tent until lights on in my tent.

The Do-Sweet-Dos was first harvested on day 72 after 16 days on plain water. I chopped 23 of her tops and left the rest of the plant a further 7 days on plain water before harvesting the rest on day 79. The lowers could have gone longer but I turned the lamp off as there wasn't that much left on her to warrant the electricity usage and I wanted to get it down before the weather warmed up more. The tops were absolutely rock solid and very dense, the lowers weren't far off the same. Most of her trichs on the main tops were milky, some half milky and a scattering of amber, 5-10% maybe. The trichs on the lowers were about the same when I chopped them. Wet trimmed again (all the plants were) and dried for 10 days before going in the jars. Humidity in the jars was 56% and the first harvest of 23 tops weighed in at 121g. The 2nd weighed 14g, so a total of 135g. 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 135g / 105w = 1.28g/w 135g / 0.24m2 = 562.5g/m2 Scissor hash. Aroma. Floral perfume, citrus and dank mold/earth. Taste. Earthy with a sour aftertaste. Wasn't the best tasting hash but smelled divine. Effect. Very nice realaxing body stone with a warm head buzz. A dreamy head stone, head wandering off. Strong but nice. Potent and good for getting off to sleep. Buds. Aroma. In the jars it first smelled like a mixture of lemon and melon. Also a digestive biscuit smell like with the Indigo Berry Kush. The floral/perfumy aroma seemed to disappear for a while but after a few weeks it returned along with spicy aromas. Ground up it smelled of lemon and melon but recently that seems to have changed to a creamy orange. Very complex aromas and taste. Taste. On first tasting there was some floral sweetness coats the mouth but the taste was mainly acrid and earthy, similar to the IBK. I wasn't that keen but now the taste is creamy and sweet. The sour acrid earthiness is still there but this subsides quickly, leaving the creamy taste coating my mouth. I like her taste a lot more now after a decent cure :D Effect. The high kicks in quite quickly along with body relaxation. It's a buzzy tingly type high though the head and the body. It creeps and then gets quite heavy on the legs and a bit couchlocky. Very relaxing stone, dreamy and spacy. Last thing at night smoke. I'm finding this strain affects me at the ratio of Indica/ Sativa: 65%/35% just like it is described by Sweet Seeds. This strain will definitely go on my to do again list :D

The San Fernando Lemon Kush had her first harvest on day 68 after being on plain water for 14 days. I harvested 16 tops and left the lower buds to finish up on plain water for a further 10 days, before the final harvest on day 78. Again, there was no need to add any support for the lower more flimsy branches, as the existing frame was supporting them ok. The colas were rock solid most of the way down, with only a few softer buds low down. Even the smaller tops of the secondary branches low down were quite firm but I thought I'd leave them to ripen and firm up some more. There were only a small percentage of amber trichs on the tops, maybe 5% at the most. The rest were mostly milky, hardly any clear. The lowers were more or less the same by the time they were harvested. The first harvest was wet trimmed and weighed 114g after a 10 day dry.The humidity in the jars was 56%. The 2nd harvest weighed in at 31g, so a total of 145g. 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 145g / 105w = 1.38g/w 145g / 0.24m2 = 604g/m2 Scissor hash. Aroma. Lemon, wood and mixed spice. A hint of paint or turps, something like that. Taste. Quite hot and peppery with a hint of lemon. I was hoping for more lemon but the taste was nice, different. Effect. Spacy head high, noise enhancing. Heavy on the shoulders and neck but not quite relaxing to the body. More in the head this, and nice. Buds. Aroma. Lemon, wood and spices. I'm not good at pinpointing spices but I get a hint of Indian curry spices in the jars. When I grind it the lemon is more pronounced. The missus thought she could smell licourice in the jars. Taste. Lemon and pepper, the lemon is quite intense. Really glad the lemon has came out strong in the taste. I was thinking it would be weak, with the lemon smell earlier on being subtle. It gives a good coating of terps and is very sweet. Effect. Quality effect from the Lemon Kush. It's a really uplifting happy smiley strong high accompanied by a nice body relaxation. And not forgetting the cheeks and eyes, they get a bit heavy lol This is ganja with a buzzing high, good for getting hammered with mates. It feels more sativa like to me than the Indica/Sativa 35%/65% in the Sweet Seeds description so I've put 30/70 on the slider.

The Killer Kush was the next to come down on day 66 after being on plain water for 12 days. I harvested 19 of her tops and left the lower buds to finish up on plain water for a further 11 days, before the final harvest on day 77. There was no scrog screen needed this time (like with the IBK) to support the lower branches, as her frame was attached lower than where I cut the colas. So it was left in place to keep her contained and support the flimsy lowers. There weren't many amber trichs but most were milky so her time had come. 1St harvest was 99g and the 2nd was 27g so a total of 126g. 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 126g / 105w = 1.2g/w 126g / 0.24m2 = 525g/m2 Scissor hash. Aroma. Fruit and sour skunk. Taste. Sweet and hashy. Effect. Clear and happy high accompanied by a heavy body stone. Cheek numbing with a warm band around my head. Very relaxing. Buds. Aroma. In the jar it smells fruity like a mixed fruit punch, no fuel smell I got from the stem rubs in veg. Ground up, it smells really strong of fruit salad chews. Smells exactly like one of the Sweet seeds strains I grew last year. Not sure if it was the Crystal Candy or the Green Poison CBD. I remember one being like fruit salad chews and the other like refresher chews. Taste. Sweet mixed citrus and a bit of a tarty pungent aftertaste. Effect. The buzz is more in the body than the head and is very relaxing. I really like this one and could smoke it any time of day if I had nothing to do and just wanted to relax. The head high is nice and clear and good for relaxing my mind as well as my body, proper smooth high that seems to get stronger as time goes on. I need plenty to drink with this strain, it gives a very dry mouth.

The Indigo Berry Kush was harvested twice. I took 8 main tops on day 65 and left the lower half of the plant another 11 days before harvesting on day 76. There was a good percentage of amber trichs on the first tops I chopped and the second harvest was mainly cloudy. She had 11 days on plain water before the first harvest and then plain water to the end. The buds are quite firm but not rock solid This was the smallest plant of the bunch but grew well and was packed with resin, stayed a darker green than most of the others so could have got by with less feed. Coped well with a one feed fits all though. 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 111g / 105w = 1.05g/w 111g / 0.24m2 = 462.5g/m2 So she was a good little yielder :) Aroma. In the jar it smells of sweet biscuits like digestives, with a hint of berries. Blueberries I think or as close to blueberries as I can tell, definitely berries. In the grinder it smells wonderful. Tangy blueberries and something else sweet, citrus fruit. Maybe it's the citrus giving it the tang. I'm not very good at recognising aromas so all I can tell you is what I think it smells like. Taste. Couldn't smell earth in the buds but the taste was sour and earthy when I first tried them. After a few weeks curing a sweet earthy taste came out. Sweet berries, maybe blueberry. Effect. Stone takes a while to kick in but when it does it's nice and relaxing. Quite balanced but leaning more to the body. Happy stone and I like it The taste wasn't really my thing at first but turned out nice after a cure. I like the effect.. Relaxes my neck, back and shoulders nicely, which is where my problems are. It also turned more couchlocky after a cure.

She didn't really portray being a fast version for me and I think that might be because my environment ran quite cool for most of the grow. Also, changing to grow feed near the end (as instructed by Intense Nutrients) more than likely made her grow for a bit longer, putting fresh trichomes out. I normally like about 15% amber trichomes depending on the sat/indica % but after trying the scissor hash from this girl I realised I could have taken her a bit earlier. She was fine when I took her anyway and I'm pleased with the result :) She had 3 plain waterings before harvest after being on a low feed of just grow for a while and her older leaves faded gradually, leaving her looking great at harvest time. She was a pretty girl and a pleasure to grow ;) It's a shame the harvest template here doesn't account for multi strains but I'll do the sums for you. It was a 6 strain grow, all having equal space to grow due to the training, so I've divided the whole space and the lamp wattage. 1.44m2 / 6 = 0.24m2 per plant 630w / 6 = 105w per plant 76g / 105w = 0.72g/w 76g / 0.24m2 = 316g/m2 The plants were quite crammed in their space and quite dense, so if I were to grow this strain again I would have less colas and prune more from the lowers, allowing for more light to the buds. There were 20 tops in total which resulted in long slender colas. The tops were quite firm and dense, and the lowers more soft and airy as expected. She had a decent length of time slow drying for 14 days (trimmed fresh) and when she went in the jars the humidity settled at 56%. Great for smoking but not so good for long term storage.

Oldtimer grow was added to the BioBizz bloom in flower and did the job. I'm not sure how much difference Bio silicon actually makes. I would have to do a comparison grow to rate it properly. I can't really rate the Magne-cal+ because I have an imbalance of Ca/Mg ratio present in my water so it didn't work for me.
