<span class="link_user">@cultivars</span>, I’m at 53N and we run out of strong UV light in mid-August well before it gets too cold in October. By force flowering and using the far red light I get it to flower under more daily hours of stronger sunlight and finish 2-3 weeks earlier with much better buds. Well worth it this far north, but fast flowering genetics help speed things up everywhere.

<span class="link_user">@RelaeX</span>, I would probably do better with flowering if I were to implement some sort of light deprivation, or employed techniques to trigger flower sooner like <span class="link_user">@Northern_Ent</span>. Things have worked out for me though over the last 3 summers, so I haven’t invested in messing with things.
