Welcome to my diary. I decided to grow sensi skunk from sensi seeds because I heard it is easy to grow for beginners, quicky finishes flowering and has good yields. I had some problems withy first sensi skunk seed that was planted in the start of april...well I ditched that plant and started again 20 day later...i lost some precious veg time because of that...more of that in the review of the strain. As you seen in title I will be mainlining this skunk...i am aiming towards 16 main nodes...if plant grows quicky enough i might even try for 32 nodes...we will see Nutrients: I will be using Flora series from General hydroponics in combination with Atami ATA CalMag (mostly because I couldnt find nothing else) Medium: Sensi skunk will be grown in coco coir mixed with perlite. Location of growing: I will be growing outdoors, so my grow is higly dependant on the weather. Diary--->Week 1 Day 1: Seed was placed in water for 12 hours, after that I wrapped it in moist paper towel and covered it with ceramic plate. Day 3 Seed has germinated and was placed into vermiculite temporarily ( i didn't buy calmag and i am unable to prepare coco medium) Little plant was watered and a plastic cup was placed over it to protect it from wind and to act as green house. Day 4 Little plant poked out of vermiculite Day 7 Plant grew for 1.5 cm and was watered. See you another week.

Welcome back... Diary--->Week 2 Day 13 Plant was watered...waiting for plant to be a little bit more developed to use bottled nutrients. I am sorry for only 1 picture this week but plant was literally the same 6 days ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Weather report: Weather this week was realy bad. Mostly rain, strong winds and almost no sun. Little to no progress in plants development as I said...well what could you do----> thats consequence of growing outdoors, being dependant on weather. I am happy that plant hadn't stretched too much in the absence of sun. Next week I will buying CalMag...finnaly...so I will be able to prepare coco medium and transplant from that little improvised chewing gum pot. See you soon in next week.

Diary: Day 15-->plant received its first nutrients....concentration of nutrients was very low:   -    FloraSeries Gro-->0,25 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro-->0,25 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom-->0,25 mL/L Day 17-->plant was watered Day 21-->Seedling was transferred into a bigger 0.3 L pot. I still don't have CalMag so Coco medium was rehydrated without it. I'm slightly scared that this will cause some deficiencies, because it is a preventive measure to add 1 mL/L of CalMag into water that you use to rehydrate Coco medium. 70 % Coco was also mixed with 30 % perlite. So I ended up with exactly 1L of medium. Plant was also watered with nutrients in concetrations down bellow   -    FloraSeries Gro-->0,5 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro-->0,5 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom-->0,5 mL/L Weather report:   Day 15 weather was sunny, night temperature was reasonable so plant was left outside. Days 16-20 were an absolute nightmare. Constant rain, no sun, and the night temperature dropped bellow 10 °C. Plant was therefore transferred inside for 3 days. Day 21 was sunny, plant was moved outside. Current hight is 3cm. See you soon.

Diary: Day 23--> plant was given some nutrients in these concentrations   -    FloraSeries Gro--> 0.8 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro--> 0.8 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom--> 0.8 mL/L Day 26-->the rain took care for the watering :') Day 28 Plant was also watered with nutrients in concetrations down bellow   -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.2 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom-->1.2 mL/L Weather report:   Day 22 the weather was sunny, temperatures dropped a little at night but nothing to worry about. Day 23-26 weather was mostly cloudy. Temperatures during day (17 °C) and night (13 °C) were reasonable for that kind of weather. Day 27 Oh boy, it rained like crazy for a couple of hours this day. Winds were quite strong, but the plant, even though it was left outside, managed to handle it like a champ Day 28 it was partly cloudy. A little bit of sun so that's awesome. Temperatures were great 23 °C during day. That's all for this week.

Diary: Day 29-->plant was watered Day 30 Plant was fed with nutrients in concetrations down bellow   -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.2 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom-->1.2 mL/L PPM ~set to 600 Day 34 Plant was fed with nutrients in concetrations down bellow   -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.2 mL/L   -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L   -    Flore Series Bloom-->1.2 mL/L PPM ~set to 600 Plant was also moved back inside. There is a a lot of rain therefore I kind of come to conclusion that it is better for the plant to be next to a window in a warmer environment. Also... I still don't have that CalMag and I'm very awere that this will cause some related deficiencies. Every single grow shop that I visited doesn't sell it, and that's very suprising to me. I will hopefuly be getting CalMag in two weeks and I can't really do nothing about it. Weather report:   Day 29 it was sunny all day, perfect conditions. Temperature during the day was 26 °C and 19 °C during night Day 30 first half of the day was sunny. The second half was complete opposite, it rained like crazy. Temperature was 19 °C during the day, and 15 °C at night. Day 31-35 weather was really bad...constant rain and cold temperatures. 18 °C during the day and 12 °C during night. That's all for this week.

Diary Day 36 Plant was watered with nutrients in these concentrations: -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.2 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->1.2 mL/L PPM ~set to 600 Day 37 Some calmag issues could be seen on lower leaves. Plant was watered with the same nutrient solution as day 36. Fifth node is already growing so I will be topping soon. Day 38 Plant was watered with the same nutrient solition as previous days. PPM measure was around 540. Day 40 Plant was watered with the same nutrient solution as previous days. PPM measure was 720 so i had to dilute it to 550. Day 41 Plant was secured to a stick because of strong winds. I let the soil dry a little bit too much this day but nothing sirious. Plant was fed with the same nutrient solution as previous days these week. Plant is happy but the lower leaves are still browning a little bit. Weather report: Day 36 Weather is still moody so plant was left insidr Day 37-38 Weather is sunny, plant was moved outside. Day temperatures were 24 °C during day and 18 °C during night Day 39-42 These days were a lot better than usual. It was sunny, day temperatures were around 30 °C. That's all for this week.

Diary Plant was given nutrient solution every day when the sun went down in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L Because I changed the feeding solution the first ppm measures were around 800. I wasnt happy with that so i diluted it with tap water to reasonable 560 ppm. Day 43 I topped the plant for the first time and removed all the folliage bellow the fourth node. So four growth tips were still attached to the plant. I checked the removed leaves and noticed small, light coloured, almost invisible  aphids so I decided to take a look under the leaves that were still on a plant and I wasn't suprised to see more of them. Because plant is still young and there aren't lot of leaves I removed aphids simply by brushing them off with my fingers. Day 46 I decided to remove 4th node grow tips and try to clone them. Immediatly after cutting them of they started wilting so I placed them in the water. I poked little hole in the medium, covered the end tip of a clone with cloning powder and placed it in the medium. The medium was watered and clones were placed in little greenhouse on my window sill were sun light isn't so intense. Day 47 I still have the problem with aphids. These black flying fuckers are annoying and I simply squash them with my fingers. But these small, almost invisible aphids under the leaves are appearing every day even though I removed them the previous day. Plant does have a slight smell to it if you are close to it...not strong but noticable. Clones were watered and are doing OK. I am quite suprised that they made it through 1 day. Weather Day 43-46 It was mostly sunny. Temperatures were around 32 °C, and 23 °C during night time. During the day, plant is receiving 8 hours of direct sunlight. Day 47 First half of the day was sunny. The second half was a complete opposite. There were strong winds and at one point hailstorm, so plant was placed under the roof to avoid damage. Day 48-49 were sunny, temperatures during the day were around 31 °C, and 21 °C during the night. See you soon next week.

DIARY Plant was given nutrient solution every day when the sun went down in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L When I mixed all the nutrients in the water the ppm was 840. That is quite high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 590 ppm Day 50 It was time to bend two new mains, they were long enough to be trained. Firstly I drilled two holes (parallel with mains) into the side of plastic pot. Then I bended one main at the right angle and secured it with electrical wire to a drilled hole. The same was done with the second main, but I was more careful while doing it because the main stem was already under tension and I was afraid it would split. Bend down mains that now resembled letter T were also topped, so I was left with four new terminal shoots. Day 52 Plant recovered very quickly. Two mains turned upward just after two days. Day 55 Four new shoots are growing were quickly and are already about 3.5 cm long. OVERALL PLANT CONDITION Plant recovered very quickly after topping and bending, it also didn't show any sign of stress. Before bending it was 16 cm tall after bending it measured 12 cm. Overall plant is healthy and it doesn't look like it suffers from any deficiencies. Day is about 15 hours long and plant is receiving about 8 hours of direct sun light. REPORT ON CLONES Clones are doing OK and look healthy. I watered them every other day with tap water WEATHER REPORT Day 50-51 Weather was sunny. Average daily temperature was 30 °C. Day 52-56 Weather followed similar pattern every day. It was sunny at morning and afternoon, and it was raining in the evening. Temperatures were around 26 °C during day and 19 °C during night. I also captured some clouds (mammatus clouds) with interesting shapes at day 52, they look liked child drew them.

That is quite high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 590 ppm Diary Day 57 Today I prepared the coco medium for transplantation. I simply soaked the coco in calmag solution over night PPMed to 550. The next day I mixed 1/3 perlite to 2/3 buffed coco. Day 58 Plant was transplanted in 3.6 L plastic pot. I was a little late with the transplantation and you could see heavily rootbound structure in the picture I included...whopsie, this will never happen again (ps. It will). Plant was also topped (third time) and trained. While I was bending I wasn't very careful and the main stem split in half. I solved the problem by duct taping the stem together and shaping a little wire to help support the branches. Day 59 I also zipped tied the split stem to add that extra support. Day 61 All 8 new mains are now 2 cm long, plant recovered quikly after training. Day 63 New mains are now 3 cm long. I also removed the zip tie because the split was healing up perfectly and the support wasn't needed anymore. Weather report Day 57-59 It mostly rained. Temperatures during the day were 20 °C and 16 °C during night. Day 60-73 Weather was sunny. Temperatures during the day were 27 °C and 22 °C during night. Clones report Clones were given to a friend on day 60

Then added Calcium fertilizer from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 650ppm. I ended up with 2 L of nutrient solution. Day 67 I topped again for the fourth time and did some prunning, plant now has 16 mains. I also did some bending. Firstly I had to build some kind of support where mains would be attached to. I shaped 1 m long steel wire into circle shape, drilled a hole into plastic pot and pushed the 50 cm long wooden stick through it. Then steel wire was zip tied on to wooden stick. Bending was quite easy to do. I used soft rubber wire to attach mains to the steel wire support. I bended in the way that mains were equaly distanced from eachother. Weather report Day 64-67 Weather was sunny, not a single cloud in the sky. Day temperatures were extreme, around 37 °C. Night temperatures were 29 °C Day 68-70 Weather was sunny but the temperatures calmed down a little bit. During the day I measured around 31 °C.

Diary As previous weeks, plant was given nutrient solution every day when the sun went down in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L -    Calcium solution-->1 mL/L I started with 5L of tap water measured at 240ppm. Then added Calcium solution from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 650ppm and ended up with 10 L of nutrient solution. Day 79 Today coco medium was prepared for tomorows transplant, and there were three steps of preparation First step -> rehydration of coco I used large 60L plastic barrel, placed the coco brick into it, added 20L of water and let it all soak for half an hour. Second step -> washing the coco PPM of now rehydrated coco was too high (500), this tells me there is a lot of unwanted salts in the coco that needed to be removed. Removing the salts was done by transferring coco from barrel into 40L smart pot. Coco was then washed with fresh water from hose and excess water was allowed to drip out of the pot. After the washing, coco was transferred back into the barell and ppm of the coco was 200. Third step -> buffing the coco The problem with coco medium that I have read about is that plants might suffer with calcium  deficiency. So just as preventive measure, I soaked the coco over night in Calcium solution ppm-ed to 550. Day 80   This day was the transplanting day into 40 L smart pot. First of all I had to remove all the wires that were attached to the 3.6 L plastic pot and were used for bending. After removing the wires, the old pot was easily removed. The old pot was used as a mold when I was filling up the new smart pot. Then I could simply drop the plant into the created hole. Plant was topped for the last, (sixth time) now I'm left with 64 mains to work with. I was thinking about doing a 7th top (128  mains), but that would be just to much. I also did some pruning and bending. I used little green wires for bending, and accidentaly split one main. Demaged main was simply wraped with duct tape. Day 84 After all the bending, topping and pruning plant recovered fairly quickly. New mains are now 1cm long. Weather report Weather througout the week was more or less sunny, it was probably a little cloudy some days but nothing too serious. Average day temperature was 33 °C and average night temperature was 21 °C

This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 700ppm and ended up with 9 L of nutrient solution. Plant was given a total of 10 L of nutrient solution every day. DIARY Day 91 I did some bending today. I bought three metal brackets, 1 m long, 35 cm wide and pushed them into the soil. Then I simply bended all the branches under these metal brackets. WEATHER Day 85-91 It was sunny all the time, second heat wave of the year. I think plant took the heat preaty well. Average day temperature was 35 °C, average night temperature was 22 °C.

FEEDING   Nutrient soultion was the same as previous week and was given twice per day. DIARY Day 108 Did some major pruning today, unfortunately I had a lot of pictures, but accidentaly removed them while cleaning storage on my phone.... Anyway, I removed all the bottom leaves and cleaned the inside of the plant so there would be more air flow. I also removed lower branches that would never reach the top of canopy. In total, I removed 10 L bucket worth of leaves and branches OVERALL PLANT STATE I measured the plant height on day 109 and again on day 112. In three day plant grew from 65 cm to 75 cm, she is streching a lot. The width of the plant is 120 cm, the lenght of the plant is 130 cm. WEATHER REPORT Day 106-109, 112 It was sunny these days, day temperatures were 33 °C, night temperatures were 22 °C Day 110-111 Weather was cloudy, it looked liked it would rain but it never did. Day temperatures were 22 °C, night temperatures were 18 °C.

FEEDING   Nutrient soultion was the same as previous two weeks and was given twice per day. DIARY Day 118 I removed some more branches in the inside of the bush that weren't looking so promising and weren't getting direct sunlight. OVERALL PLANT STATE At the end of the week, plant was around 90 cm  tall, 135 cm wide and 135 cm long. Every day I can see more and more white pistils in the top branches and the smell is also becoming more noticable.  What is interesting is that lower branches have more pistils that upper branches. WEATHER REPORT Weather was sunny from day 113-117, with average daily temperatures at 28 °C and average night temperatures at 19 °C. The last two days of the week, days 118-119, were cloudy with no signs of sun. Average daily temperatures was 25 °C, with night temperatures averaging 19 °C.

FEEDING   In terms of feeding, this was a trasition week from vegetation nutrient mix to flowering nutrient mix. I started to reduce the given amount of FloraGro 1.5 mL per day. At the same time I increased the amount of FloraBloom in the mixture by 1.5 mL. Everything else stayed the same. I could have probably done the transition in one day but I just felt like this would be better for the plant. By the end of the week, I was giving nutrients in the concentration below. -   FloraSeries Gro-->0.6 mL/L -   FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -   FloraSeries Bloom-->1.8 mL/L -   Calcium solution-->1 mL/L DIARY Day 118 I removed some more branches in the inside of the bush that weren't looking so promising and weren't getting direct sunlight. OVERALL PLANT STATE At the end of the week, plant was around 110 cm  tall, 150 cm wide and 150 cm long. It seems like the rapid growth will never stop. I also have pest problems. Some of the top leaves have small 1mm holes. Does someone know what couls it be? WEATHER REPORT The cloudiness from the previous week has continued into the days 120-122. The daily temperatures were around 27 °C, night temperatures got as low as 17 °C Weather was sunny from day 123-126, with average daily temperatures at 30 °C and average night temperatures at 20 °C. The total day lenght has shorthened to 13 hours and 20 minutes.

FEEDING Plant was given nutrient solution twice per day in concentrations down below -    FloraSeries Gro-->0.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.6 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->2.4 mL/L -    CalMag-->1 mL/L I started with 5L of tap water measured at 180ppm. Then added  enough liquid CalMag fertilizer from Atami that ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1100. This is too high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 950ppm and ended up with 6.5 L of nutrient solution. Plant was given a total of 12 L of nutrient solution every day. OVERALL PLANT CONDITION Smell of the plant is getting more and more stronger. It is not the strongest that I have smelled but it smells citrusy. Plant size has increased to 120 cm. WEATHER REPORT and DAY LENGHT Day 127-129, 131-133 It was mostly sunny, some parts of the day were a little cloudy. Average day temp. 30 ° C, average night temp. 19 °C. Day 130 This day was cloudy with average daily temperature at 27 °C. Day lenght this week has decreased to 13 hours.

FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day OVERALL PLANT CONDITION Plant height hasn't changed much since the previous week. The lenght of the plant is around 190 cm, width is aroubd 160 cm. Smell isn't so intense as I tought it would be. Last year I had a chance to stumble upon some cannabis plants that were growing on someones garden. And let me say the smell of those plants was punget from 50 meter away. With my sensi skunk this isn't the case. I am not too disappointed about it, because I don't want someone to find my plants by simply smelling them 100 m away. Rubing the sugar leafs around the buds resulted in my fingers smelling very lemony and getting sticky, indicating that plant is starting to prouce some resing. WEATHER REPORT and DAY LENGHT Day 134-136 Weather was not ideal for flowering. Either it was raining or was cloudy all the day. I had to shake the buds a couple of times per day to remove all the moisture. Average daily temperatures were 17 °C. Night temperatures were the same as during the day. Day 137-140 Last four days were sunny with daily temperatures around 22 °C. Night temperature were suprisingly cold averaging at only 10 °C. Day lenght this week has decreased to 12 hours and 30 minutes.

FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day DIARY This week was probably the worst week of them all in terms of all the problems that happened. Everything started on Day 146 when strong winds were capable of knocking down my plant two times. Plant wasn't demaged but it is a scary experience to see your plant basicaly up side down. Because of strong winds I was forced to move the plant to the different location. While moving one of the dominant branches snapped. I addresed the issue by taping the crack together with tape and securing the branch to the support ring with a metal wire. It was a major damage with an easy fix. The night between days 146 and 147 was accompanied with strong winds and a lot rain. This combination of wind and rain resulted in damage (half of the plant just gave up and bended to the ground) that could be easily fixed just by installing trellis before the flowering started. To prevent the further bending and support the flowers when they start fattening, I wrapped the plant into plastic wire. This was not an easy job so help from a friend was a necessity. When the plant was wrapped I pulled the flowers through the netting and did some rearrannging. The problem with bending was solved, but I discovered some other problems when closely inspecting the buds. First problems were the seeds. Yes some seeds were found. This was probably my fault because I visited the hemp farm and brought home the pollen on my clothes that could produce the seeds. It could also be the fact that I am growing outdoor and the pollen came from copletely different source. Some seeds, while growing outdoors are just inevitble. There was one more thing. I was suspicious about brown tops of some buds. Because I was affraid of what it was, the brown, not so good looking flower was cut off and closely inspected. I was angry to discover the caterpillar. I did a search of all the buds and found one more rotting bud and cut it off. I suspect that they are still there. I will inspect the plant every two days to hopefully find them and prevent the further demage. WEATHER Days 141-145 This days were sunny with daily temperatures around 26 °C. Night temperature were averaging at 15 °C. Days 146-147 Last two days were harsh. It was cloudy with average temperatures at 14 °C. Day 146 also had very strong winds. Day lenght this week has decreased to 12 hours and 10 minutes.

FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day DIARY Nothing to special happened this week, I had to snip off small part of bud because of rot. I also inspected the plant on the daily basis to find and remove caterpillars. Flowers are larger every day and smell has also become more pungent. WEATHER Days 148-150, 154 This days were sunny with daily temperatures around 19 °C. Night temperature were freezing at 6 °C. Days 151-153 It was raining and because of that plant had to be moved into garage. Daily temperatures were 18 °C Day lenght this week has decreased to 11 hours and 50 minutes.

FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day DIARY Some buds started to rot, the reasons are cold night temperatures in combination with caterpillars. I tried to check the plant on the daily basis to locate and remove affected buds. The citrusy smell is becoming overwhelming. WEATHER Day 155-156 It was raining, daily temperatures were 20 °C, while temperatures during the night were 13 °C. Day 157-158 Daily temperatures during these sunny days were around 22 °C. Night temperatures were 17 °C. Day 159-161 These last days of the week were cloudy, day temperatures dropped to 17 °C, and night temperatures dropped to 11 °C. FEEDING Plant was given the same nutrient solution as previous week two times per day DIARY This week has been very humid and a lot of buds had to be removed because of bud rot. I don't want to lose more buds to rot so the plant will be chopped down next week. Trichomes are also turning milky so that is a good think, some are also turning amber. WEATHER Day 161-166 These days were mostly sunny, with daily temperatures at 15 °C and cold night temperatures at 6 °C. Day 167-168 Last two days of the week were cloudy.
