@Jdscustomcreations, Your first comment is probably the most OG thing ever. Thanks for the tip. It's not a creation I figured anyone had have happen yet since the strains are so new. Nice to know I'm gonna grow some fire from it. Now I really hope it's a girl because I'll just mom the crud out of her if so.
@CANNASIM, I was very surprised. You never know what you are going to get when you accidentally cross two strains. If it's a male (fingers crossed it's not) the genetics will be very nice to just instantly put on an old favorite. It's fun playing with pollen, accidental or not.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Yeah, I just hate wasting good viable plant. I also don't want the plant to get too much taller since I have a height restriction in my tent to about 5 ft when you factor in space for vents and lighting. Plus popcorn nugs are my favorite. I've lollipoped many a plant before. Since it's such a small enclosed space I think I want to see what it's like to only defoliate lightly this time through. With the Quantum Kush she'll get thick bud even on the bottom as I've seen before so I think I'll try it without trimming the legs this time around. Bud space is bud space in the setup. I'm gonna make sure every flowering part of the plant is giving me some bud. plus my t5 bars are 22 watts so I'm going to use them to make my grow as close to exactly 400 watts as possible. I'm 55 watts short of 400 atm so I'm gonna add those t5's for fun.
@TheFairyBudMother, I use carbon filters because I'm a very clean person and I like my whole house to smell like whatever I have in my wax burners. I currently use 4 inch Ipower filters with their ducting and fan counterparts. They get the job done for sure. Also, if you are pulling air from outside your house the are a great and keeping pests out. I have a scentsy burner in the room outside the closet that the tents are in. All you can smell is coffee from the wax melt. The key is getting a filter with good charcoal in it. Australian is the best so I hear. I'm considering slamming a third Vipar in there but i'd probably need to update the air intake system to manage all that heat so I'll most likely keep things as is + or - a few T5 bars.If you are seeking to invest in a filter I suggest you wait until you want to spend 100$+ on a whole system of ducting and fans to go with it. My air system probably ran about 200$ but thats because my system of two filters is running air for two tents (Which works perfectly but the way). I'll post pictures of it tonight when I post the first day of week two for this grow.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, hahaha you are right about that but i dont think that i can smoke them all until my next harvest. I'll spare some for smoking till next harvest and cure the rest at least a few months. Maybe i'll save them until newyear. Wonder how they gonna do after a long cure.
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, hope i'll get more with even few plants this time. 500 grams on their optimum curing RH which has been said is %62 and also i put 8 gr %62 Boveda humidipacks in jars. They wont lose weight i think this is the final weight am i right?
