Can't really say much about if this worked well or not.

Overall, I’m quite satisfied. The lamp generates about 4 K of heat (which isn’t necessarily good or bad, but was an advantage in my case) and reliably and consistently produces 450–650 PPFD. The only drawback is that there is no difference between 80–100% power, and the lamp only turns on at 20%; thus, only the 20–80% range is effectively usable, although the light output does not increase linearly and should be measured. That being said, the lamp also starts to make a squeaking noise outside this range, which can be annoying (but is relativly quiet).
