Great day time smoke. Helps you get lost into work or task.

More like an 8 1/2 with 9-10 potential. I stressed her out and she grew out like fingers. Still tasted great and got me nice and lifted. Non-experienced smokers will be couch locked. Sticky and stinky. You know as soon as you open the jar/bag. Look forward to growing her again to see if she can get up to a 10. Was definitely our favorite out of this run.

Due to the issues I had during the grow I have to admit that that played a part in yield and potency. Admittedly not a sativa person, I WOULD consider growing this again to see if a better potency and yield are possible. Taste was great!

Sooo disappointed. Other strains I grew this run I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt that it was me...for some reason I'm not willing to to that here. I got absolutely nothing from this strain and actually did NOT look forward to it when it came up in the rotation. It grew well. Nice buds. 3rd largest yield of the run. Taste & High <Thumbs Down> Could it have been the problems towards the end of the grow? Maybe Would I grow it again? Only if I was growing with other stuff I know I liked.

[Right to -re-rate] I was really looking forward to this strain. She had this gassy, rough smell that I was expecting to just knock me on my ass. Unfortunately it just didn't happen. Could it have been th eissues towards the end of the grow? Could it have been because of what stunted her growth to begin with? We shall see...eventually. I think that Royal Gorilla has the potential and I look forward to tangling with her again in the future.

I don't know if it was me, or the issues towards the end of the grow, but I am sad to say that I was a little disappointed with the strain. It may have just not been what I was looking for but I'll grow it again in time just to make sure. Not the high that I was looking for but I certainly ain't gonna knock her for it.

Initially I think I was a little tough on this strain. I think because of the issues I had towards the end of the grow, I was stressed and didn't cure long enough before smoking. As time went on, I feel that the taste and effect got better. A great daytime smoke that won't knock you on your ass and function at a high (no pun intended) level.

[Right to Re-rate] This grow did not go well. Totally growers fault I'm forced to rate in order to save the harvest. Happy to properly update once the strain is grown again. This Gorilla White Widow has the potential. I look forward to tangling with her again in the future. Unfortunately I feel that the entire grow overall was compromised which hurt my yield, taste and potency. 😕😔

For my first grow I was impressed enough even to buy in completely. I've purchased the whole Platinum Pro package for my next grow.

Growing with distilled water it's important to add everything your plant is going to need. I believe that the Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus came through for me during my grow.

Harvest Day was 8/12. I wound up over-drying over the next 4 days and had to get everything into jars when I got home on Fri., 8/16. Thank goodness for Boveda! I had a Tasting Party on 9/7 comprised of myself, my wife, my 2 best friends and one of their wives, making a party of 5. All experienced tokers of 20 yrs plus each. Unfortunately the "other" wife couldn't attend...but I sent her home a sampling of each strain . Of those that were at the party, Triple Cheese was the 2nd favorite. Reports of the obvious Cheese aroma, with a few "smells excellent" comments, as well as Earthy, Flowery, Pine, and Woody smells. Equal remarks on an in-between mind/body high and comments of Giggly, Happy, Relaxed, Hungry, and even one for Sleepy. I will be growing this again for my 2nd grow to try and improve potency and yield.

But by no means bad. Reports of Earthy, Herbs and Woody tasting with more of an Indica, body high. I think the thing that was disappointing for everyone was that they were maybe expecting more of a knock you on your ass high than what they got because of the smell. It had that, hit you in the face smell. Much different from the other 2, and I think that may have influenced expectations. Since my wife has smoked it again since, she has upped her grade, or feeling on this strain...but in a race of 3 this one still came in third. For myself, I found the strain as advertised. If I had anything bad to say about Critical Kush,it was maybe the high could have been a little longer...but then I would compliment her on how beautiful her buds are. Really dense. I do think this plant could have possibly used another week before harvest, but it is what it is. You live and you learn. While I was trimming I was becoming completely mesmerized taking off the sugar leaves...I was sober by the way...but becoming completely transfixed while trimming each bud. I had to keep catching myself because I still had another plant to cut down and trim. Another thing to note, while I was able to cure the other 2 strains in 2 1qt wide-mouth mason jars, the Critical Kush had to be cured in 3 because of how dense and sticky the buds were. Even now, almost a month from harvest I have it stored in 2 jars with 1/2oz each while I've been able to put an entire Oz of the other 2 strains into 1 jar each. I will be growing this again for my 2nd grow to try and improve potency and yield.

Reports of Earthy, Flowery, Fruity, Pine, and Woody tastes. Along with the classic sativa mind high. Major votes for feeling Giggly, Happy, Uplifted and Hungry.
