@AutoflowersSucK, That cal-mag actually solved the problem very nicely! :) they didn't grow very tall, but the plants turned into healthy green after I gave cal-mag to them.
@SirGideon,Hey buddy, hope things turn around. I'm almost certain you have some iron issues. Run grab a bottle of Cal-mag and apply it with your current regiment and i think you'll resolve the problem. A serious nitrogen deficiency will show first in the lower leaves as uniform yellowing that continues till the leaf crisps up and dies The plant pulls nitrogen from lower growth to aid in it's new shoot development. And slowly it will move up the plant. Low nutrients will show as a light, sort of sickly light green which will display across the entire plant. Anemic looking.
Iron displays at the growth tips as a yellowing with thin green leaf veins. (pretty much as your plants appear)
@AutoflowersSucK, This site converts EC to TDS somehow different than other sites.. here when I calculate 0.9 EC it converts to 450 TDS but elsewhere 0.9 converts to 0.576. Well anyway now they have 1.3 EC, 0.832 TDS. Ph has been very consistently at 5.8-6.0 so can't be that.
Ok, I need to check out that iron deficiency thing and Cal-Mag! Thanks so much for looking info!
@AutoflowersSucK, Thanks I will look up Hygrozyme! Never had any root rot problems, I think this NFT system prevents those pretty efficiently, but maybe I should have a look just in case.
@SirGideon, Yeah i used to do heavy misting. Drenching actually when i was preparing to take clones. I ended up killing my favorite mother by doing that because i left them vulnerable to pathogen invasion which is what happened. The plant never recovered and eventually died.
Check your root zone, as i'm assuming that is a hydroponic grow your doing. If you see anything brown in colour then you may have some root rot. I over watered a young OreoZ mother recently and she got really sad. She got pale and droopy and stunted growth and necrotic spots on some lower leaves. Leaves curlung down and slight cupping. I couldn't feed her because the soil was wet and took forever to dry out. She's still alive but slow to recover. Today i'm going to hit her with some hygrozyme, and i was going to suggest you use that product as well or some other enzyme root specific product like Sensizyme, if you see any browning in your root zone. I've got a bottle somewhere so i'm gonna dig it out today and use it. Look up Hygrozyme on yourtube. People rave about it and i think i'm going to start to use it regularly myself. My initial thoughts for the product was to use it to eat up the roots in my coco so that i can re-use it again, but i'm going to use it on my plants as well to keep the root zone in top shape.
@AutoflowersSucK, I do mist them :o alright maybe i should stop doing that. Leaves are turning yellow now. From stuff I saw online it looks like nitrogen deficiency. I'll post new pics tomorrow. Thank you for commenting and tips!
