Day 77
So guys, today is harvest day for Greta. As you might’ve noticed from my previous updates, I was a bit disappointed with her overall performance. She ended up staying really small — basically a dwarf — and recently I’ve been looking into other grows from FastBuds and noticed this happening sometimes.
At first, I was worried it could be something like the Hop Latent Viroid or maybe an issue with my soil, which of course is still a possibility. But it’s starting to look more and more like she was just a bad bean with some unfortunate genetics.
That being said, she didn’t cause any trouble throughout the entire grow. She just did her thing on the side, looked healthy, showed no deficiencies and no major excesses either. Everything was pretty much in balance.
The buds actually look really nice — like, really nice. The smell is strong too. As mentioned before, it’s got that classic Gorilla Glue aroma, but toward the end a citrus note started to come through as well.
The yield, as you can see from the pictures, is very, very small. Honestly, not even enough for a proper bouquet
A week ago I probably would’ve given her an even lower rating, Let’s see how it turns out in the end.
That would’ve easily been enough to grow her in a one-liter pot, that’s how small she stayed. But hey, for a freebie, it’s not thaaat bad🥲
