PH also should be around a 6-5.7 for growing in a soil like medium or 6.3-6.7 if organic make sure to dechlorinate your water by bubbling it 24 hours at least
@Mongler1187, thanks a lot man. This is very helpful. Just worried that I ran out of seeds. Got only 5. Hard to travel again at this moment to get more.
hello fellow gardener . I see you had an issue with your first plant . don't give up or give in we all make a lot of mistakes even I do after years and years . that said its not hard to get a good crop they are weeds :) first of all I would follow the suggestion of getting some well draining soil . make sure it does not have any time release fertilizer in it unless it is organic this can really make it hard to properly feed your plants . some perlite and peat moss with a little Mycorrhizae is a good easy to make mix if cant just find a premade mix . next save your self some pain and use a cloth pot this will help every aspect of your plants root growth and in turn plants growth . it is very hard to over water a cloth pot as it breaths so well . plants really need very little water in the medium just do not let the central root ball dry right out . once the soil is under control next will be your air humidity this really is a big factor seedlings need roots to reach so dryish dirt but want damp humid air if cant get humidity up to a good high 70% put a dome on it for the first week or two , they need very little light use a clear pop bottle top so can breath some . do not fertilize it the first week and even second week if its an auto . the risk to damaging the plant is to strong start to experiment later once more confidant
