Orange Kush Cake grew extremely well, it had a moderate to high stretch when in flower, and was extremely forgiving on over-feeding that some others in the tent didn't enjoy. She faded with beautiful colouration and her trichome development was excellent. The terps were rich throughout mid and late flowering, with an initial rotten oranges scent which changed a bit in the dry to an artificial grape flavour. Buds grew dense and heavy and she finished in 63 days.
An interesting grow for sure and a bit of a mixed bag in some ways. She was trained heavily before flower, so grew even more squat than standard and she's already a fairly low bushy plant. This pheno was very prone to powdery mildew, my second pheno had much better resistance. Very very frosty, strong hitting unique high that works as an all day smoke. Aroma from this pheno is earthy and gassy with sweet zkittle notes secondary to that.
The bag appeal is 10/10 with this strain, the smell is unique and sweet, not as much carries through to the taste as I'd like, most flavour is kept to the aftertaste, but still an enjoyable smoke. It presses extremely well under rosin press.
The smoke tastes amazing, and she hits really hard. Initial notes are sweet berry mixed with a gassy undertone. Body high for sure, and heavily stimulates the appetite.
It could have just been a bad pheno but this grow fell short of the other Bulk Seed autos I ran. It grew extremely squat and didn't yield as much as the others. Trichome coverage was average. The taste was initially very bland but it did cure up decently with a chocolate scent after about a month.
Great strain. It was quick to mature, running faster than the advertised flowering time. Colas were nice and solid. The taste is above average. The scent in the jar is excellent.
