NutSystems GT 424 is a compact Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system in the Gro-Tank range. Plants sit on a sloped tray above a 45‑litre reservoir; a submersible pump continuously delivers a thin film of nutrient solution across the roots and the surplus drains back to recirculate. The design uses minimal growing media (typically just starter blocks) and is intended to run 24/7 for consistent moisture and oxygen at the root zone. The GT 424’s footprint suits small spaces and 400–600 W lighting, with typical external dimensions around 112 × 50 × 20 cm. Complete kits generally include the tank, tray, correx cover, spreader mat, delivery tube and pump. This recirculating approach helps limit salt build-up and simplifies feeding compared with media‑based methods.
