Blue Gelato 41

Sadly I discovered some ball sacks on her and according to the information I have read she's a true hermaphrodite and its down to the genetics, I have heard other growers complain about this particular strain from barney's . Anyway Im glad I spotted this yesterday before the sacks had chance to release pollen and mess up my other plants. I think if I grow this again I'll decrease the veg time just in case this happens again or do two at the same time hoping there'll be no issues, so the moral of the story is check you females for ball sacks frequently

The blue gelato 41 grew very vigorous during vegetation and bushed out rather than growing tall. That being said it did reach nearly 7 feet tall so not a small plant by any means I would encourage stretching and light stress training its entire course of vegetation. During veg it was a very hearty plant. I would also encourage a slight nitrogen increase in whatever you’re doing it seems like it just wanted more.

Beautiful compact plant yielded pretty well in the end, looked less than the other two but the flowers were much tighter & had perfectly formed, denser and heavier, almost picture perfect nuggs.

Nice hybrid. Leans heady.

This plant just really never panned out. I am not going to rate it poorly because despite only have two real primary nugs it still produced almost 2 ounces of weed. Unfortunately it just got crowded out from the beginning and it was never able to reach its full potential.

Buds have that old school dank. Peeling open a nug and it punches you in the nose with pine, earth, and a distinct herb berry smell that any fruit terp hunter would absolutely love, as I do. Both phenos suprised me honestly as my favorite throughout the grow so far isnt the best smoke of the two. I assure you both plants are fire, one is very dense and the other is a little fluffier with big red hairs all over. My favorite of the two so far is the fluffier darker bud. These plants were awesome to grow and even better to smoke. The fluffier bud smoked super smooth and tasty right after the dry which suprised me to say the least but most of this herb will be in curing jars and monitored daily.

Yet again this strain is amazing. I really am so happy with it.

super super super potent , strong gass and fruity taste, the high iz crazy, head rush!!! so smooth n sticky super recommend!!! Barneys farm is super! never had problems before

smoke report💚 I loved this strain,I was also ok with the yield since it was my first time trying high stress techniques and I made a some mistakes from which I learned doe so😁 40 g dry.. I'm confident I'll do better the next one :) it has been drying for 2 weeks and a half and in an airtight container for a month💚 The drying room temperature was max 18 and Min 15 degrees with a 60 percent humidity 😁

This was a bonus seed from Barney's Farm, which came with my auto-flowering seeds. I thought: might as well plant this too! The autoflowers together with Blue Gelato was my first grow. It had a rough start, going much slower than the autoflowers in the seedling stage. In the first few months, I did not pay much attention to this one, as the focus was on the autoflowers. So it suffered a bit from nutrient deficiencies. After some feeding, she came back to life. The last month was wet and cold, and I had to check for botrytis every day. I even bought a small tent to protect her from the rain. In the end, she did get a little rot, and that was when I decided to harvest. Even though the buds were not fully matured yet. I am very happy with the end result, though it is not much weight for such a long grow. Quality over quantity I guess! The buds are much denser and stickier than the autoflowers. The smoke is energizing and gives me good laughs! Makes for a decent day smoke too.

Second time withe this strain and still my favorite. The smell, the taste, the effects, everything is absolutely fabulous with this one. I also have to cut the main bud, but got a very good outcome (dry) with this one and the taste is even better than the first one.
