Securing the prestigious first place at the American Autoflower Cup in California 2023, Strawberry Gorilla Auto emerges as the pinnacle in terms of potency. This strain wows with an impressive THC content of 28.417% that delivers a cerebral journey, potentially overwhelming for novices but absolutely cherished by seasoned users. It commences with an energetic, uplifting sensation, eventually culminating in a deep, tranquil embrace, without plunging one into lethargy. Taste-wise, get hypnotized by the essence of freshly picked strawberries as Strawberry Gorilla Auto introduces a gentle hint of gassy undertones. Rather than overwhelming the senses, it complements with a candy-like sweetness, curating a distinct and memorable flavor profile that’s both rich and refreshing making it not only an Autoflower Cup winner but an enduring symbol of autoflowering perfection. We highly recommend a carbon filter as this is an extremely pungent strain that smells a lot and can attract unwanted attention without the right odor control equipment. Make sure to have the growing conditions and airflow on point as this variety will reward you with the finest quality flowers under the right conditions. Due to the dense and compact buds, mold can be a huge problem so if humidity and temperature are an issue, tie down the branches to space them out or defoliate gently to provide enough airflow between the buds.

The trichromes production on the strawberry gorilla is great with very nice fruity hints. Ive tried this plant before and one of my favorites from fastbuds! Easy to grow and quite big plant, these girls like nutrients and it would have gave me better results in bigger pots with some training but we used a sog here and i removed some lower branches

EDIT: Updated smoke report ... this stuff tastes and smells like strawberry now! It's been what, 3 months? But a good bowlful in the DIY conduction vape had us both agreeing that it was definitely was a strawberry vibe. Smooth, and not scratchy. No coughing. The high was clear yet intense. Fully capable of doing things, but also able to relax into the things we were doing. Yummy stuff. Didn't notice bad things like cottonmouth, lethargy or dumbheadedness. Just a good experience. Had a chance to taste test this again after a good week or so cure. I'm liking it better. Not as uplifting as the other, Banana Purple Punch, "from what I can tell" but I will update if that changes. The smell of the buds int eh jar is really dank? not sure what that is, but it's not fruity at all. Very sour, fuel-like, almost like spoilage, but not really ... dig? Humidity is very close to 62%. Flavour when smoked seems pleasant, and smooth. Maybe a slight bit of cottonmouth. Not really noticeable though. Vaped it on a DIY soldering iron/jar rig ... Anyway this strain is supsed to be more sativa-ish. Perhaps it is. It's very hard to compare to the effects of the Banana Purple Punch. I wish I knew for a fact which was which.

Here we are babyyyyy! Man have I been stoked for this day. Beautiful buds with beautiful colours. Dried via Lotus method - drying for about 8 days in a fridge. My buds ended up way more terpy doing it this way and I'll honestly be only doing this way from now on. Smells like freshly grown strawberries. Not like artificial strawberry smell, it was more like fresh from the field kinda smell.. I could not stop opening the fridge and sniffing constantly. Pure joy.

Plant 2 grew very leafy and didn’t give any decent bugs at all. Plant 1 did slightly better but still wasn’t an overly impressive yield. Growing she had an incredibly strong aroma of strawberry that as she matured turned to a more earthy musky scent that has been incredibly unique in my grows so far.

The taste is super nice but hard to describe like anis and icecream and the smoke smells like sunscreen. The high is very strong and makes me sleep very well. She is clearly one of my favorite strains i´ve grown so far.

This strain was easy to grow. It was my first time growing a FastBuds strain and it turned out great. The THC levels was nearly 22% which is significantly less than the World Record levels but very punchy indeed. It really does have a unique wonderful smell to it in the bag and a great taste when smoking. The yield of over 5 ounces was beyond expectation. Great addition to my collection !

Thanks for the great genetics these Strawberry Gorillas are strong, robust plants, that are great for a beginner! They thrived in coco, with light EC requirements, LST to even out the canopy, and leaf defoliation all along. This is only my second session making a few mistakes along the way, all detailed below. They grew into amazing beautiful plants with great smells, and dense flowers covered in trichomes. Smoke report after cure 2-4 weeks 2-2-2024 - Smells improving, good balanced hybrid. 16/2/2024 - Sweet smells of tropical, fruit with gas. Great smoke well balanced hybrid. Big thanks to @mOuse, @1_Plant_Wonder, @AsNouri, and @Roberts for answering my questions as a new grower, much appreciated! These seeds were determined to live from the beginning, sprouting tails within 2 days of soaking the seeds. Once sprouted they took off, although I overwatered one seedling (#1) and yes you can overwater in coco (week 3 day 16)! Deficiencies noted in week 3-4 due to my mistake in flushing the coco for seedling strength vs simply leaving buffered and not supplementing with calmag. Gotta pay the coco tax and use calmag water to dilute to appropriate EC, lesson 3. LST was a great tool and I see the benefits and plants really seemed fine with the bending, will add support at the base of the main stem. Will need to defoliate better and remove smaller branches to open up more light, air and energy for other sites. ScrOG was beneficial to tie some branches and tuck them to help open up sites and visually see where stuff should grow. Need to use the space to better plan branches to prune. The ScrOG made it difficult to defoliate and pull plants out of tent for closer inspections. Both were on ~40% strength of TA’s coco’s recommendation. Lower EC seemed be fine for these two during later veg, pre-flower and flower. Used 20/4 lighting, no bugs or mold noted during the grow. Temperature, humidity and air circulation seemed good this session. The size of these two would have likely been larger, but due to my mistakes in week 4, I did limit them somewhat. However, #1 was smaller due to overwatering and I used a 3-gallon tall pot for her, knowing I missed a week or so of growth and she was not as big/tall as her sister. #1 had great flower structure, 3-4 main colas and multiple other medium sized colas. Dry 124g #1. #2 was flower machine, a lot of sites that could have been improved had I defoliated/spread her out better, and I needed to thin out more of the smaller branches. Flowers were beautiful and thick, can only imagine if I had trimmed her better and had a better week of growth; 3-4 main colas, and 6-8 medium sized colas and multiple other smaller sites. What a beast, Dry 153g #2. Looking back – I could have defoliated small amounts in week 5 and more of the inward growing branches and other small branches Day 34. Week 6 was stretching in preflower. Day 51 week 8 I trimmed – could I have removed more branches at that time? I believe a few branches at a time would have been OK. I did pluck and defoliate leaves during veg, pre-flower and flower and the Strawberry Gorillas handled it well.
