Amherst Sour Diesel

~HUMBOLDT SEEDS AMHERST SOUR DIESEL~ When I started this girl she was germinated along with 12 other seeds, four Auto's and Eight Photoperiods. During germination, I had a couple of seeds from both fail and had to replant. I originally thought she was one of my Auto's, but when after 30+ days from seeds she wasn't show any signs of flowering, I figured that two of the tags must have gotten switched some how. I had given up on germinating the ASD after 3 seeds failed to germinate but apparently the fourth one was 'the charm'! Once I put her on a flowering light cycle of 11/13 she immediately went into flower and never looked back, finishing up with some beautiful green buds with contrasting orange & golden hairs and a coating of white trichomes, that are rock hard and resin soaked! The Amherst Sour Diesel high as an immediate onset of a calming, energized, and euphoric cerebral head high with a slight buzz in the back of your head. These effects will leave you feeling social and upbeat, although your thoughts may be a bit jumbled. The insane head high is accompanied by a light functional body high with a warming sensation throughout and a feeling of relief. Due to these potent effects, Amherst Sour Diesel is an ideal strain for treating stress, depression, anxiety, and moderate pain. These medium-sized dense neon green nugs are furry, specked with amber and gold hairs, and caked in fine crystal trichomes. With a pungent fruity wood smell with a hint of diesel and a taste of pungent fruity wood, Amherst Sour Diesel will definitely please even the most discerning connoisseur with it's complex aroma and myriad of effects!

Very sensitive to over feeding, I followed exactly the biobizz schedule divided by 2 or 3 and still showed overfeeding symptoms. Will update in 2 weeks after drying

She has a strong growth but she’s kinda slow both in flowering and veg

Quite a sturdy plant with strong drought and water damage resistance since I had some issues with my watering and humidity! Overall a beautiful strain from the amazing smell to the mesmerizing purple-ish hue during the last weeks of flowering. Stretch wasn't as bad as expected so it fitted well with my very limited grow space!

Day time gas!

Very nice strain.. Grew well with training and produced nice colas.. Medium range feeding is all she needed.. She didnt seem to enjoy higher levels of food.. Wud grow her again but mainline or lollipop her..

I loved this strain. Really good for the daily routine, really like FUEL DUDE. Loved this sativa, amazing HIGH .

Miss Mia Wallace was a tough one. I vegged her for a LONG time, she went through possible thrips, multiple light fixture changes repotting many times, deficiencies of every kind and came back a killer. Will do again.

Well, as for me, Amherst Sour Diesel is the best choice for the beginners. It is easy to grow. Just add water. Good to practice. As for me it is not so strong as it written (27% of thc) but it depends also on the grower, so i can't judge. Mostly because i made some mistakes while drying it. Taste is smooth and solid. Effect comes later then other herbs i tried. It is long and high (not stone). Strongly recommended to try. If u will give a good lamp for Amherst sour diesel, you will make kgs of stuff. I can't even imagine how it grows outdoor.. HSO is a guarantee of a good experience of growing and smoking. Thank u guys! U r awesome. If ill grow next time, my choice surely will be HSO.

Beautiful incense, cedar, fuel. A truly connoisseur strain that I will continue to come back to. Smokes like a fine cigar. Curing makes it spectacular! Have found it approaches the aroma and flavours of Earl Grey tea with Bergamot after 5 months of curing!

Plant was smaller / should have veg longer.

Great strain, easy to grow just add water. Plants made lots of primo buds with tons or resin. Great smoke and will post the review after the cure. Would recomend and grow again.

Heavy yields, nice dense buds, good smoke review It was my first grow and the Fox Farm Nutrient Line is pretty "hot". I even started 1/4 strength. I had a calmag deficiency along with a few other but she was strong big stalks. I guess you could say pretty resistant lol... but good end result 8/10!!!

She came out great, her stature gave me a small harvest size, 30.44g. The buds are great looking and quite covered in resin so I didn’t trim much. The purple looks awesome and the cure has begun. They smell so strongly of diesel it actually makes me slightly ill to take a huge whiff, and then smell quite lemon piney with diesel when ground. Smoke is good. Very alert but very noticeably high by unhigh bystanders. Very relaxing yet not tiring.

This strain is so strong. I've had some problems with light and humidity but the plants were strong enough to resist. I think this is one of my favorite strain. Thanks Humboldt! Good job!

Strong, really strong plant. She forgave me many mistakes but not high humidity on last weeks. ASD is a perfect to use in the first half of the day. Tastes like gas and grape. Gives me energy for talking with people (usually I prefer to be alone). Nice for smoke and go. I like it. Now I grow second crop of ASD and this is not the last. Great genetics.

This plant was an easy grow. I had struggles with my isolations boxes and lots of environmental changes due to replacing the old diy cooling system with a minisplit. The grow itself is unique and not many of my peers have not understood or had faith in what I was doing. Winter in Michigan can be unforgiving when cold. And the area I have my isolation boxes stored is not sealed. Tho the boxes themselves are and operate according to design. This plant was resitant to foliage applications of pk boosters, the leaf responded poorly but the buds flourished. This lady lived her life with minimal stressor, a simple overheating once, and underheating several times, stretching the flowering out further than where it should have naturally to achieve an reliable and potent bud. This plant started emitting a strong skunk smell before event flowering. It’s size was smaller than most of magnets to plant, with a 1-1/2 foot diameter and short 2.5 feet at harvest. However he smells by far overpowered all others its entire life. THE DENse sugar leaves made the dry trim more difficult as the buds weren’t huge but potent. The bud was described as having a sour appeal like a soured milk almost but the skunk and fuel undertones really pulled this together to form a lemony fuel taste. A very straight forward plant with a potent bud and scent for real. EASY as pie to grow.

In the end there can only be one winner, and for this round, it's the Amherst. #1 of the 4 HSO seeds grown and #1 overall. She was not an easy grow; transplanting to supersoil, LST'ing certain ways, watering too little or too much, she let you know sher was bothered at every corner. She was small until probably the last two weeks of veg and even then, didn't seem like she'd be the best going into flower. Then she exploded. And fattened, and purpled out. My pheno definitely seems to lean more indica though this is a mostly sativa strain. A big funky oily soury smelling putple plant is what she ended up as in the end, coming from behind to finish the race and finishing up right at 8 weeks. Even without a cure she is such a strong and immense flavor; think of drinking a sour diesel milkshake, the flavor is soury gas with a creamy, almost sweet top that is absolutely a pleasure to smoke. I'm going to muster all of my will power and hide this jar for at least 2 months. I need to see this one through to her full potential. Definitely a harder grow, but worth it, I would recommend it on strength of the end product alone. Definitely top shelf goodness. Well done, HSO!
