Purple Trainwreck is an indica dominant plant that contains 35% sativa and 65% indica. It is based on the combinning of Mendo Purps and Trainwreck.

The plant needs a quite space and a feeding riched in nutrients. Purple Trainwreck is sensitive to humidity and pests. Therefore it suits for indoors, greenhouses and outdoors when the climate is temperate, warm, dry or Mediterranean.  Purple Trainwreck demonstrates amazing violet and purple colors when the night temperatures are lower then day.

Purple Trainwreck provides aromas of citrus and lightly hot spices. The smoke produces a taste  of lemon, pine and lavender. The long-lasting effect has two stages. The first is cerebral, invigorating and psychedelic,  the second  brings a potent relaxation.

2nd round with these genetics. Clippings took from a mother I selected out of 5. Same strain same mom clippings taken at same time. Fed the same food but ran 5 under electric sky 300 v3 and I ran another 4 under a fluence spdyr fang. The first 5 under the ES light finished with amber trichs around day 50 where the fluence light started to ripen around day 55 and could have gone at least another week. All in all both tents of flower did not disappoint in the least. This run was much better then the last and I look forward to growing more in the future. It's great to smoke throughout the day, it feels to be more uplifting then others I have tampered with in the past. It Is not my go to for bed rather my go to when I wake up ready to tackle the day. It makes for a great smoke just taking an evening stroll with the family. I can still play dad needless to say. Next time I plan to try out a few different training techniques and see which works best for these genetics. 💨💪

Nice dense frosty nuts, yeild well for only a 14 day veg. Lots of purple started to come out towards the end. Burns clean and gets ya stoned can't ask for much more then that. Will be doing this strain again now that I have a little knowledge towards humboldts purple trainwreck.

This lady took all her mainline training without skipping a beat. Zero downtime I mean none. A very resilient variety. Produced tight dense frosty flowers, that had quite the strong pungent aroma. We decided to monster crop/re veg her because she was so nice! A real keeper strain! Caps off HSO.

This was a fun grow, it tested my skills with nutrient regimens. She is in a whole different class of feeding, she took as much Nitrogen in flower as she did in veg. Potassium, and magnesium levels needs to be elevated as well. That being said she grew like a champ. Putting the ph to 6.4-6.6 was the sweet spot for uptake of those micros to avoid deficiency. She is definatly a day time chill, not sleepy at all, I get alert & chill at the same time.....the high comes on like a fruit train, with in a couple min you are feeling the full effect and it last a couple hours depending on how much you smoke...the high is pleasant, not overpowering, clear headed without the anxiety, and a good light body buzz..good for going out for a hike.

I really feel bad for the HSO Purple Trainwreck, rating her #4 out of the 4 HSO strains grown and #5 out of the 6 overall. She's got the yield, she's got the DENSEST of all the buds. She's got the weirdest baco-bits mixed with baby powder smell, that at first is alarming, but endearing in its uniqueness. And she does hit like a train, fell asleep to this the other night :) She just happened to be up against some tough competition with these other strains! The PT stands well on her own. If you're looking for an indica with a different flavor profile but a nice couchlock effect, this would be a good place to look. She does awesome with LST and grows thick hardy buds. But when lined up against all the other HSO greatness I've grown, she's just the last of this bunch. Don't let that stop you from trying and deciding for yourself!
