Golden Goat was originally created in Topeka, Kansas when a male (Hawaiian x Romulan) pollinated by Mr. Dank's freak Island Sweet Skunk female. The best plant of the resulting seeds was named "Golden Goat" after the smell of Golden Goat Recycling machines in the dead of summer when the soda syrup smells would mingle in the hot sun. The flavour is tropically sweet and lingers on your tongue. The high is straight to your head and comes on instantly.

Golden Goat is a sativa dominant plant that finishes in 60 days.

I played with this strain before and it is an absolute beast (grows very large in flower), very strong meds.

Blast off! I can't get anything done when I smoke this strain unless I have a plan before I smoke. The high is extremely spacey and scatterbrain, uplifting, energetic, that helps put my mind at ease.. probably because you can't really focus on 1 thing for too long. I like to smoke this before I go running because it puts you in another place. The bag appeal isn't the greatest, but the buds are chunky and have a beautiful tropical smell. On a dry pull it tastes like fruit loops and pineapple hard candies. She isn't a hard plant to grow as she is very resilient, but have your stuff dialed in. She likes to eat and the buds get very chunky, so keep your humidity down. I feel that if someone were to run this plant 3-4 times, they could really get something special.

Well, this plant grew with a lot of vigor and put out a ton of bud, but most of it was moldy. The mold was not visible from the outside of the buds and there were no necrotic spots on the buds themselves, but...when I looked at the buds under a microscope there was Botrytis hyphae everywhere in the buds. Not visible to the naked eye but definitely there. I threw out the whole grow. What a shame. All I can say is, make sure your humidity levels are low enough in flower. To hit "desired" VPD the humidity needs to be higher than I like...would rather have a smaller harvest that is mold free, than the biggest buds on the planet set to the bin. Damn shame. Also, based on the fact that you could not see or tell that the Botrytis was present...I strongly recommend checking a few random buds under a scope from time to time. Call it quality control.

strong and potent stuff, definitley leaning day from its sativa genetics. surprisingly heavy yield for a sativa plant.
