Ghost Toof

Biggest Auto yield I had up until now. The plants are really easy to grow. Gave them some LST and a soft defoliation. Both could have been rougher. The stems lignify quite fast so don't wait too long with your LST. She is perfect for stealth grows, because you don't smell a thing. Not during grow, flower, drying. Only during harvest there is a little smell. The colas have a quite decent size, the buds are dense and frosty, the trichomes small up to medium sized. The Bud to leaf ratio is excellent. The fresh buds have a deep but light floral and spicy smell. After curing they have developed the following smell; Head-Notes: floral, Heart-Notes: Watermelon-rind (yes, the rind), Base-notes: Pumpkin. There is also a certain piquancy I cannot further describe. But overall the smell is not strong. Even if smoked the smell is rather subtle (compared to most other strains I had). The taste is light, not overly sweet and reminiscent of the smell. The high creates a relaxing buzz without glueing you to your couch or bed. It is probably best suited for the afternoon, an relaxed evening with some friends, a (non hard core grind) gaming session or a movie night. Its strenght is decent too, not mild, not overly strong. But sadly it was not the right medical strain for neither me nor my gf. But I still highly recommend this strain for everyone who doesn't want everything to smell "green". I would recommend 40l // 10,57 gal pots and not more than 1 plant for less than 1 sqm / 10,76 sq ft. I still have 1 Seed left and will put it outside at some point, just to see what those genes can achieve under the sun.

Where to start ... At about week 3, I topped her ... but I think I FIM'ed instead. Shortly after that, I had to go on vacation for a couple weeks and couldn't do my usual LST during the preflower stretch. And, boy oh boy ... this girl stretched big time. She ended up being twice as tall as every other plant in the tent. Before I do the smoke report, I should add some disclaimers ... during the preflower stretch, and while I was on vacation ... the stupid lights failed to come on twice. That's two full 48 hour periods of darkness - at a critical point in its growth. Due to this, one of the other plants in the tent decided to hermie ... joy. It caused this plant to produce a few seeds - although it didn't get fully germinated. I only found 2 seeds - removed them early ... never saw any other. Also, while training her, I snapped off two of the largest branches. Given how huge this girl was, I'm sure I lost a good 2 ounces of final weight. Shame. I'm sure all these stressors had an effect on the potency/quality. Despite that, it still produced decent buds.

Mephistos ghost toof went 101 days from sprout (direct sow) easy to grow as this was my first grow Grown in living soil, I didn’t ph my water or feed throughout the plants lifecycle. 18/6 light cycle

Overall a pretty easy strain to grow. Had issues with one of the plants and its nutrient uptake. It was stunted in the beginning, but recovered nicely. Bud structure was lacking, but large volume. 81 days from seed to harvest. Didn’t get wet weight, don’t have a good way to do it, but will update when dry.

Really lovely smoke. Has an almost medicine line terp profile, like lemony medicine with sweet back notes. The high is really awesome. Not too much to be in a coma, but not for the faint of heart either. A nice balanced smoke for when most of the work is done, not all.

Our pheno of Ghost Toof was a monster from sprout. She was very vigorous and had the longest root of the three Mehphisto cultivars that we popped. She took no time to break the surface of the media and it was pretty apparent right away that she was going to be a big girl. LST kept her under four feet but she would have gone much higher without it. So just fair warning if you have a short tent (under 6 feet). She stacked colas at least a foot down on each branch and the main was a good 18" of solid buds. For us, she destroyed Mephistos claim of 130 grams doubled it. Our pheno was a massive producer for an auto. The smoke on the first hit is almost instant and goes right to the eyeballs. Instant relief. She is very sweet and smooth after a 2 week cure. You can exhale out your nose with no discomfort at all. Long lasting effects. Ghost Toof was a pleasant surprise for an auto on several levels. I think auto growers will like this one.

Nice plant and flavourful buds, would grow again

This plant can take a beating, I broke her in half on day one and still got 254g of flower. I disagree with her being a beginner strain, at least in DWC, this plant is massive and requires masterful LST skills to keep her tamed without topping. If I had known this plant would veg for close to 7 weeks, I would have topped her. Smoke, aroma and high are all top notch, this is weed any grower is going to love to have in their jars, It's no wonder this is a favourite in the Mephisto community. If you can get your hands on some seeds, do yourself a favor and grow some ghost toof, a favourite of many. Myself Included. Solid 9/10.

The smell from the 2 month cure is great. Smoke is not harsh, would def grow again.

Harvested day 87. The plant stayed small as were the buds. Yield was a major disappointment. But she did produce that classicstink cheesy smell and smoked alright.

Had some problems with mould because off nighttime humidity chopped after 72 days. Needed another few days maybe a week but good smoke

Overall fairly easy to grow. Bit of a deficiency while in transition but was very easy to correct. The terps are really what stand out with this strain, they're truly on another level.

Will update more after dry/cure. Day 97

She stinks, she's sticky enough to glue envelopes, and she slams you in the back of the head with spacebrain thoughts! DWC went really well, and she grew into a literal monster of a plant.

This strain as you can see is a XL sized auto and she needs time. Even in a 3 gallon pot she grew to around 3 feet tall. She also needed a little branch support late in the grow as the buds became very dense and heavy. The trichome production is outstanding on this one. She's very sticky. I would gladly run this one again.
