Mother Gorilla - formerly Royal Madre -

Esta gran planta se ha comportado hasta el final. ha sido un placer cultivarla y me ha regalado unos enormes cogollos muy pegajosos, olorosos y duros como rocas. Ahora la planta descansa en el cuarto de secado, los cogollos mayores están enfrente del extractor de la carpa de cultivo, los tendré ahí un par de días para acelerar la pérdida de humedad con el aire caliente y seco, el resto lo tengo en una malla de secado aireada, en un par de semanas cataré esta hierba.

I really enjoyed growing Mother Gorilla. Although one plant snapped at the mainline during the very early phase of vegetation [Chong], we were able to save her and still get 8 main bud sites. The growth was of course hindered because of this and so she didn’t give us much in terms of grams - only about 20grams or so. Max on the other hand grew tall and strong. The leaves turned a beautiful purple during flowering and the bud size was notable. Not a difficult plant at all, enjoyed the grow!

Super fruity and Sweet smoke. Sticky as hell and the high is sativa dominant so you have a small energy push to be creativ or so.

High resistance, no problems, frosty and taste good. Good choice for first time grow.

The taste is very brilliant, almost like cookies. the fermentation produced very good taste notes

Mother Gorilla is a new and improved version of Royal Madre. The original strain is a cross between Jack the Ripper and Reina Madre (Queen Mother). Mother Gorilla provides a stimulating effect typical to sativa-dominant varieties. However, her high doesn’t cause unwanted jitters or paranoia. Instead, it’s the perfect level of energy and excitation. She swiftly wakes up the mind and gets the neurons firing, without being overwhelming. Mother Gorilla is an easy photoperiod strain to grow. She maintains a medium height of 140–180cm and will be ready to harvest after a very reasonable flowering period for a sativa-dominant strain. 😀 The yield was not great considering the size of the plant but the taste and quality of the flowers exceeded my expectations. It has proven to be a strong and resistant plant, and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of sativa. Great day smoke, allows me to do my creative job even better. 💪

Royal Queen has done a great update on its original Royal Madre. The typical spicy flavors of the Royal Madre were pumped up with a super boost of Gorilla genes. The crossing is not stable and therefore expects a lot of variation. The plants are not very homogeneous: both the height and growth pattern vary widely. The taste is rather spicy. With some plants, this gives a pronounced taste that may not please everyone. Sweet and sour is well balanced, but never pronounced. The effect is mild and rather social. Larger doses really create a strong euphoric mood. The plant is fairly easy to grow. Her branches are fairly sturdy for a sativa, but also flexible enough for just about all pruning and bending techniques. Flowering time is at least 9 weeks.
