Honey Cream is the ex Royal Caramel that based on the BlueBlack, Maple Leaf Indica and White Rhino. The plant contains 65% indica and 35% sativa genetics. The plant develops a short, bushy structure with big, dense, resinous buds. The average size is about 100 - 160 cm. The harvest comes after 6-7 flowering weeks or in early October and brings 500-550 gr/m2 under a 600W light indoors and 625-675 gr/plant outdoors.  The mix of different genetics provides a big variety of flavors. The smoke delivers a rich, sweet, sugary, almost like caramel smell and a sweet, earthy taste. The effect brings intense relaxation and a heavy body stone high. Honey Cream also suits for medical smokers for various physical ailments.

So the honey cream was the strain that I was hoping would be fast in flowering so it could avoid the harsh humid autumn weather and while it was true that the flowering time was quite fast she started way too late to flower. So that was a slight disappointment but didn't matter too much. She took some time to grow to its max size, got to around 250cm in size grew bushy I only topped her once. I let her bloom late into October and thus the humidity got to over 90% almost every other day so it came to no surprise that there was some bud rot. This was the plant with the most beautiful smell, not to strong yet so sweet with honey like aroma, beautiful. There were many small buds but I think that was my mistake since I left her growing alone with almost no maintenance, a good Lolipopping would definitely help her focus more on the big buds. The most surprising factor was the harvest I wasn't expecting a huge harvest because of all the small buds but holy hell did she deliver. German law forbids from having more then 50g of dried cannabis for a person we are a 4 person household so only 65g of the dry weed from this strain were kept the rest was responsible thrown away.

This strain did it all, early topping, high LST, mainlining you could do anything with her. my 3rd Honey Cream and I think it turned out best. The smell is very sweet with a slight caramel note, as with the others. The buds are very heavy and dense, but a bit small hehe, maybe its my fault Typical Indica strain goes straight to the head when you take a hit, but with its 16% THC it stays within limits and is very positive

Harvested on Day 90 after 8 weeks of flowering. Veg was pretty normal but her stretch was absolutely enormous. She quadrupelt in size and even snapped a tied down branch by herself. Throughout the bloom she was obviously having some issue, with significant damage from the top fan leaves downwards. I didn't think it was any deficiency because of that, so I guessed it to either be a pH or heat/light intensity problem. Even though I flushed her and tried everything I seemingly could do, she didn't recover and never was able to stack size. On day 90, through pure luck my brother spotted unbelievable quantities of aphids under some damaged leaves. Looking back, we found that every damaged or dead leave was covered with aphid bites. Didn't even think of that because she was standing inside... So in conclusion, we decided to chop her on day 90. The smell was really nice and pleasant, even though I wouldn't describe it as anything like "Honey Cream". Really sweet and almost slightly fruity. She grew vigourous and promised huge colas if it wasn't for the aphids. Extremely sad and another Grow down the learning drain.

The buds are quite fluffy but still sticky. It's turned a little purple. T he previous Honey Cream smelled and looked completely different. Very interesting . The taste is not yet fully developed, the buds are now placed in the glass to ferment for at least 1 month I like the strain... smells pleasantly sweet with a slight caramel note. The buds look hairy but are compact and resinous. The full aroma unfolds after a month

So my last 4-5 days of growing consisted of another last 2 lite flush, followed by 2 days with the lights on normal 12/12 schedule and final 2 days with the lights off. Came to cutting down while in between having to assist with the delivery of a washing machine - surprisingly chopping and pruning the buds is just as relaxing as smoking it. Got 399 grams from the 1 plant (wet). Pleasantly surprised about that yield from a 80*80cm tent with the plant only taking up half the space. Currently drying on the racks, will start curing in about a week or so (me hopes) and will post the dry weight on here then. **Important note: Final dry weight will not be indictive of actual drying weight - little nuggets keep disappearing. Very nice smoke, cant wait till the survivors are ready for battle. ***The 2 autos (Strawberry Banana 420FB & Cookies Gelato RQS) were in the dark along with the HoneyCream. After adhering to no particular schedule as i still cant remember when i planted them, i assume they are both around 11-12 weeks. Cookies looks close to ripening, Straw looks a week or 2 off that. 2 rounds of heavy bloom/top/heaven mix flooding the pot for 4 days. now just flushing every 2 days until Cookies is done (its only a 4L pot so a 1L of water is only need to flush for now). Aim depending on look of Straw at Cookies cutting, either a splash of nutrients or keep flushing. I don't think the meal cause i haven't seen that much greenery in leaves in autos for a while. ****And 2 new seeds have been planted. RQS Honey cream (again; i like this strain and i hope i still have old one by the time this will be done for the chop) & RQS Shogun. Will start a diary for them once on a roll.

Had a little problem. I detected budrot in one of the colas during late flower. for two reasons... failure in the air circulation and I couldn't solve it in time apparently 😔 and the other problem is the density of the colas 🤪after solving the circulation problem and eradicating the bud rot everything ended well 😌 Very foxtail perhaps due to its own lineage. I like the look it has. 🌵🍈 I notice that all the plants that stay a little longer under the light to mature end up getting purple tones. I don't know if it has to do with the genetics of Royal Queen Seeds or if it's from the LED spectrum. remember that I never turn down the dimmer in late flower. in the next run I will decrease the intensity of the leds and see

From seedling to harvest time, she smelled. The high is a unique one, defo daytime smoking. I find the smell of the strain to be very sweet, caramel like smell, the taste however is more fruity earthy. Overall it was a nice plant to grow, had alot of fun with it. Dry weight = 180G Time of writing, the plant has been consumed. -Smoking - 8/10 -Edibles - 9/10 -Resin - 8/10

We have reached the end of this long journey that lasted 18 weeks, starting with 12/12 light / dark from seed. As you can see from the first photos I was not very lucky with the seed I chose. She showed signs of malformation in the first few weeks, and continued to grow in a particular way. I haven't noticed many classic leaves with 5 or more points. Many leaves had 3 points, some 4, some 2. A nice little monster in short. However the strange growth has not denied this beauty to grow very well, all in all. She resisted supercropping, LST and low humidity, but still grew strong and healthy. The scent is sweet, the smell of lemon is strong as well as a sweet scent that you can better understand by smoking in a few days. Updates these days for the smoke report, yeah! Update : After drying some flowers individually in a wedryer for 5 days, they are already dry and ready to be tasted, the bigger buds still need a few days But let's recap the trend of this plant. It started with 12/12 from seed, the vegetative lasted about 5 weeks and it started flowering very slowly. The final height was around 65cm, which could have been more, but I did a 90 degree bend before it went into bloom, which affected the final height enough. The final buds are quite large, only the central apex weighed about 55 grams when wet, the rest can be seen in the picture but there are few branches less than 10 grams (always wet). The glasses appear round, firm, not very full of trichomes but being a variety recommended for a doctor (medium CBD content and 16% THC) I think I can be satisfied, visually speaking. It has not taken on any particular color, remaining on the classic green of the weed, with beautiful red veins on some sundeck leaves. As already mentioned and demonstrated in the photo, few leaves have taken on the typical appearance of cannabis, but this did not change the growth of the plant which grew strong and healthy. The smell during flowering was that of cotton candy mixed with lemon, but now, after a few days of drying, those scents are completely gone. Once the grinder is opened, you immediately feel a strong scent of tree bark, a typical smell of the forest, with accentuated notes of pine, all accompanied by a sweet smell. The taste on the palate is round and soft, it does not scratch the throat and does not pinch, although there is still a slight aftertaste of chlorophyll, a sign that it must dry better than this before being put in a jar. I can't claim it's a "fast flowering" variety with this seed, but I planted a tall seed alongside this one and it is behaving as it should be, 5-pointed leaves, very fast growing and flowering .... we'll find out together if you follow my "insane growth" diary :) Thank you for reading this far and if you have any advice on cultivation or photography regarding cannabis, please leave a comment below, I read everything and "stick my head" in the diaries of all: p
