It has super strong genetics. Even though I had heavy problems with bacteria in my reservoirs it almost didn't give a damn! Never seen such strong genetics. As for the smell / taste and effects, I'll update this harvest after a proper cure. So stay tuned guys :)

To be honest this was my first ever grow, had a few hiccups but nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of the experts from this site. Royal Gorilla grew a little higher than I have expected so i had to do HST on her but apart from that she bloomed nicely all over her growing period. Smoking it was awesome, very strong head high around 25% THC they say, although it was still nice and smooth.

[Right to -re-rate] I was really looking forward to this strain. She had this gassy, rough smell that I was expecting to just knock me on my ass. Unfortunately it just didn't happen. Could it have been th eissues towards the end of the grow? Could it have been because of what stunted her growth to begin with? We shall see...eventually.
I think that Royal Gorilla has the potential and I look forward to tangling with her again in the future.

Growing wise she had troubles in the start just couldn't take off, then suddenly she caught up but then in flower she got wimpy again.. buds didn't get as dense as i'd wanted them.
Surprised me with the purple flowers. Final result ended up being tasty, smelling good and gave me a great sativa type high. so yeah, pretty decent but I'll be running this one again.

Harvest - was good seeing she only had 200W of light over her for her ending weeks of flower producing some very nice GORILLA FINGERS!
Ease of the grow - was good as she pretty much took anything I threw at her nute wise and did not mind being trained/defol/scrogged
Taste is - EXCEPTIONAL.... Lemon, pine, and subtle chocolate notes on the exhale A+
Effects - HEAVY relaxation and gooey euphoria, smoke a BIG fatty of her and a magical sweet smelling gorilla will manifest itself and make spoons with you and will not let you off the couch.
Unless you are going to get some chocolate banana Häagen-Dazs ice cream from the freezer. A

Another top strain from Royal Queen Seeds.. Strong growth from the start of germination.. Easy to grow with no problems with her.. Very healthy genetics and a super smoke.. Great for heavy user's but beginner's be careful of her heavy THC content!!.. Got some lovely colours from this phenotype and she really did grow sum beautiful big flowers that where covered in sticky trichomes.. Easy 10/10

Beautiful dense buds, glistening with trichomes. The smell is one of my favorites. She handled everything well. Will be growing this one again next time but will try some more stressful techniques.
