Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the start of Season 02 of Buds - Growing experience. This season I'm planing something a little special. I'll have 5 different strains, 3 automatics and 2 fems. The first one is Royal Gorilla by RQS (which were kind enough to sent me these for free, which I'm very thankful for 🙏) Other strains are: - Dance World by RQS - HulkBerry Automatic by RQS - LSD by Barney's Farm - Critical Jack Automatic by Dinafem I'll use 2x 70L water reservoirs, the left one will have all 3 Automatics, the right one only the 2 fems (Royal Gorilla and Dance World) After hopefully 10-12 weeks of 18/6 schedule the Automatics will be ready for harvest, then I'll transplant Royal Gorilla into the other reservoir so both fems have half of the tent each and its own 70L reservoir for massive root system expansion. Then I'll flip'em to flowering 12/12 light schedule. It will be nice to see what all the extra space does to the plants, can't wait to research that. On my last grow I accidentally hurt one of my Mimosa EVO too much and after a few weeks of recovery it started to get extremely thick and big. It produced by far the greatest result with buds the size of a forearm! I'll try to do similar things here with both fems. I'll try to train the shit out of them! In the meantime I'll cure all 3 Automatics and have plenty of time to test drive them ;) Hope you like the plan for Season 02. Of course, quality photographs will follow as soon as there is something nice to see. If you have any suggestions please leave a comment. I appreciate all of them. You guys rock!

So this is the first week of vegetation and I already think I fucked something up. I didn't give it enough light, and in 2 days all the plants stretched a bit more than I'd wanted. I also didn't remember and didn't take time to look up when I should transplant them into the Hydroponic system but I was so happy to have set everything up that after a week I transplanted all of them which probably fucked things up a bit because 3 of 5 seedlings started to lay flat like there didn't have enough stamina to hold up. If any of you has an idea what I could do to help them, I'd really appreciate it. After it happened, I adjusted PH to 5.7 and added 10L of water into each res to dilute the nutrients a bit to see if it was a bit too early, to much or something. Well, fingers crossed 😀

What a week full of problems! I have too little knowledge to tell what went wrong but almost everything went south in both water reservoirs from water and tent temperature at night, too low humidity, PH issues, nutrient burns, brownish floating things in the water to a very weak stem that cannot hold the plant up right and needs support. I've exchanged both water reservoirs, cleaned them with only water and a sponge and added 40-50L into each of fresh water and left the plants on a water only diet for a few days. They seem to get back on track very slowly but I believe they are doing better now. The Royal Gorilla seems to get better than half of the other plants. Hopefully I'm on the right track with it...

Another week of slow recovery. Before I went away for a week I've exchanged the water again, cleaned both res' and gave the plant fresh water for 2 days and than added half of the normal feed. I've also put 4cm of styrofoam under the reservoirs to raise water temperature. After a week of me being abscent the plant got better and new sets of leaves are having less and less symptoms of any issues. From what I read looking at the plant, it needs a bit more nutrients which I gave it and also stabilized PH to a perfect 5.8 with no issues comparing to last week. Things are starting to look better. Hopefully I've got most of the issues under control now. I've also raised the night temperature a bit which will do good for all the plants :) I'm happy with the result because I was expecting half of the plants to be dead after my holiday. :)

Hi guys, another week has past. Royal Gorilla is up next for topping and LSTing. It's barely enough developed but I think it will handle it ;) I'm still struggling with the quality of all the roots and the water in both reservoirs. Some brownish things are building up pretty quickly and I don't know exactly what's wrong in the current grow so I've cleaned both reservoirs with medical grade chemicals to get rid of bacteria. This time around I've also raised the nutrients from 2/4 to 1 ml per litre with the hopes of getting it bigger soon. Fresh water with a 5.7PH and more new nutrients should be beneficial to all plants. Let's see how it looks in a few days :) Stay tuned and have a great day guys. XOXO [EDIT]: 12.1.2021 - I've transplanted HulkBerry Auto into the Fems res with more nutrients. 13.1.2021 - I've added 2ml/L into the res because Royal Gorilla is starting to show Nitrogen deficiency. Let's hope for the best. I've also pinched all my plants at the bottom of the stem for a second time now. It's a risky business but if not overdoing it, the plant can get a lot thicker and transport a loooot more nutrients into the buds. I've tried it once a bit too hard on a Mimosa Evo and I hurt it a bit too much BUT after it recovered it's yield was more than twice as big then the next biggest one.

Hi guys, great week here so just a small update. Everything is going well! All plants are finally doing great for the last few weeks. They recovered so well that I topped them again (after 3 sets of new leaves), made a light defoliation and pinched the stems in a few places again. I've seen it work wonders, that's what I did the last time, it does not matter to me that much if it's an automatic nor a "regular fem" :P, I train them like I would normally. Just check out the thicker nutrient highway on all plants in comparison to other parts of the plants here and in my other diaries :D I gave'em 3x15ml of nutrients - micro-grow-bloom into 30-35L of water, it's still a little in comparison to normal amounts for this stage, but i think I'm doing a better job going the lighter feed route and checkin out practically on a daily basis if they need more. I've also made some 1x1x1cm chocolate cubes with Mimosa EVO and Purplepunch coconut oil and the are delicious and they work wonders! XOXO

Hi guys, this last week has been amazing. Royal Gorilla took a nice defoliations without any problems. I'm really happy with it. The place on the stem where I pinched the plant at a young age looks much thicker than other parts of it. I know it was a great investment in the future life of this plant. Other than that not much to say. Since the first weeks were strange, I can't really tell the maturity of the plant but it's at a few good weeks younger stage because it doesn't handle the nutrients regimen for this week but it's okay, I don't mind toasting them for a day or two, I adjust on the fly 😜 I can't believe how well main-lining works on this plant. With every week it's getting more used to the horizontal growth. I keep it reaaaaaaly flat and I'm really happy of what I accomplished. I think that flowering is right around the corner for it. For now, no super fancy pictures you're all waiting for (guys that know my Trichome closeup fetish... but it will come!) Stay positive guys (just not 'rona positive, ya know what I'm sayin' :P )

Hi guys! It's flowering time big time in my hood :D All automatics went into flowering this week, just Hulkberry switched a few days earlier. I'm both happy and curious to see how the pants will develop in the coming weeks. That's the part I love the most. All the different strains will show their flavours, their true genetics, it's unique colors, shapes and trichomes. I'll be finally able to start shooting all the fine trichome close ups you all come to see here. Can't wait for the coming weeks of development. Next week I'll start adding Big Bud from Advanced Nutrients over a period of 2-3 weeks. Next week I'll defoliate big time once again and then I'll leave'em alone, but before that I'll exchange water in both res'. I wonder how much bigger this fem is going to be after so long in veg... Okay guys, this week has been strange as fuuuu. I did a water change in both reservoirs, gave the plants all the nutrients they need aaaaaaand I thought it would be the best time to defoliate heavily for the one more time. I'yuuuum, let's say I overdid it a bit. All the Automatics responded to my pretty heavy treatment very well in the last month but this time was different. First of all, both reservoirs cleaning, turning the lids upside down and attaching them to the the hook system again, adding around 120L of water, then adding nutrients and finaly stabilizing it took so much time that som parts of the roots started to dry out (all in all it took around 1.5h-2h), but i didn't notice it at first. THEN I did the last heavy defoliation on all the plants and LSD Auto and Critical Jack Auto looked like they were weakend very much after all this shit. 3 days in, LSD which was the biggest plant next to Hulkberry Auto has been declared dead, Critical Jack started to recover slowly. Today, a few days later it looks 80%ish recovered. I think it will recover fully in a day or two. All the other plants took the heavy beating pretty well, with those two exceptions. It's a great shame that 2 months in a LSD was essentially killed by me, but it is what it is. I took the risk and trained all the Automats like "regular" fems and until now it worked out well. I decided to germinate another Dance World since I need to know if it's just a bad seed or something else because this plants is so underdeveloped. I'll take special care of the new one :D See you guys next time XOXO Cremo

Royal Gorilla is a good boy! It's still in veg state because more than half of the plants are automatics, so I don't mind the extra veg time. It will be that much bigger. It's pretty maintance free. I just defoliate it from time to time. XOXO Cremo

Hi guys, just a small update for all you fine people :D Royal Gorilla is getting much bigger these days. It's root system is becoming big so it eats up a lot of nutes all the time. I defoliate and mainline the shit out of it and it recovers like a god damn champ a few days after. Not much to say. I'll have to let it stay in Veg until my both automatics are good to go. So a few weeks left ;) Stay tuned! XOXO Cremo

Another Veg update on Royal Gorilla from RQS. Not much to say other than that I'm still defoliating the shit out of it. I'm still mainlining it. It's growing like crazy. It's in its final veg state, just until my other 2 autos are ready for harvest. I hope they'll be ready to be chopped down in around 2 weeks. Then I'll automatically switch to 12/12 and will train it super wide :D XOXO Cremo

Hi Guys! This week was pretty awesome for Royal Gorilla. I've cut off around 40 smallest branches and removed lots of fan leaves and all the small and underdeveloped micro buds. So all in all it looked "quasi lollipoped" :P. It was a hell of a job to complete but I'm really happy that I did it and the plant survived (not like LSD... RIP). It will concentrate on growing only the baddest meaning the best and biggest buds :D I'll switch it in around 1-2 weeks into flowering FINALLY! XOXO Cremo

Yo, Royal Gorilla is gettin pretty big! After 13 weeks of veg at least :D I believe it's going to be huge. I try to lollipop it, defoliate as much as I can but after a few days the foliage is super dense again :D I'm eager to see how tall it will become in the following 10 weeks. XOXO Cremo

Hello guys! The Royal Gorilla is getting big as a frickin Gorilla. I mean, I topped it and mainlined it but with only a 1/4 space of the tent it's super hard to do it and now it got even bigger than my almost ready for harvest Hulkberry Auto. I really have high hopes for this plant, and I mean the overal yeald since its been in veg for 14-15 weeks XD It's doing great. I defoliate the shit out of it every few days because it keeps growing back so fast. I LOVE IT! XD XOXO Cremo

Hi girls and guys. It's just a quick update of this monstreus strain. I've kept this Gorilla in a veggie cage for over 16 weeks and now it's time to let it loose and do its thing. This means switching lights to a 12/12 schedule and after a 3 day flush with a perfectly balanced pH i can add some new nutrients, this time all from a company I've heard only good things about, Hesi. In 2 months I hope of harvest at least 250g off this plant. After I harvested 2 other Autos, I'll have half the tent just for this plant. So I'll put a scrog net over it and start the last stage of training. So it better get its shit together and start growing some huge buds because I've been training it like a champ for this past few months now. I want to see results, ASAP :D XOXO Cremo

Alright guys, that's gonna be a quick one. I'm away for a bit and I have no access to my pictures that's why I'm going to upload them later. I've harvested Hulkberry Auto and Critical Jack Auto and I've switched the lights to 12/12 for flowering. Both plants that are left are this Royal Gorilla and Dance World. I'll finally have half the tent for each plant. I can't wait for flowering and the stretch :D I want to widen it out as much as possible because I want this thing to yeald at least 250g :D So far everything seems to be just fine. I'm eager to see what Hesi nutrients will do in the whole flowering part :D XOXO Cremo

'Sup guys 😎 Hesi seems to be doing the job very well. Royal Gorilla looks great after a week into flowering. The switch went smooth as butter. I mean, its genetics are so good that it's getting big as a motherfucker! I can clearly see the start of a change in the flowers (yet to be). I'm very happy with the progress. I "scrog-ed" it out as much as I could. It's flat and wide. Can't wait until it gets bigger so I can widen it out even more. See you next week. XOXO Cremo

Hi guys. Why are my top fan leaves drying out at spots? I've changed water in both res' yesterday and I I've added Hesi products. The only new addition was Hesi PK 13/14 which might be a week earlier. Hesi states that it should be added in 4th flowering week.Might be the 3rd tho

If those leaves are towards very top of plant I am gonna go with looks like a sulfer deficiency. In all cases check run off ph. If it is 6.5 or higher then the substrate ph is the real issue. When ph is out of range plant uses stored resources from leaves. The roots can't absorb nutrients if ph is out of range. Good luck hope that helps.

Hi guys, Just a quick update. It looks like I've had a massive PH rise over the last 24-48 hours. It seems that the higher PH has been the issue. I defoliated all the bad fan leaves + a few more. After another day or two everything is going great again! Let's hope it will stay that way. See ya in a few. XOXO Cremo

Hi guys :D Welcome to another update of my renamed Royal Redback Gorilla :P I've chosen to rename it because a few days back I thought that it had gnats or some other insects but I couldn't see it very clearly even when I took pictures of it. BUT, after 4 days I checked it out again and now I know what's up! All the dark spots on my Royal Gorilla buds were actually dark reddish Trichomes that are coming from the inside out of the flowers. I know that this is going to look bonkers in a few weeks. I really can't wait! Other than that the plant takes about 85% of its half of the tent. I don't know if I'll be able to widen it out even more. Right now it seem to be just fine. I've never had a plant this big in my tent sharing space with another one that's left which is RQS' Dance World. I can also start shooting nicer photographs again because the flowering time has finally come! After my colorful RQS Hulkberry Auto I'm eager to see what my Royal Redback Gorilla has to offer in terms of nice colors! Stay tuned guys! The party is about to start NOW! XOXO Cremo

Hi guys! Welcome to another quick update of the enormous Royal Gorilla! There is not much to say about it all goes according to plan. The flowers develop nicely. They eat so much nutrients that I have to adjust pH every 2-3 days. I don't know if that's a good thing because on one hand I can't remember adjusting pH that often while I was using Advanced Nutrients' micro-grow-bloom + a few extras products. On the other hand it might be good because the flowers really take that much nutrients in. If anyone knows what's up with my res water solution pH skyrocketing every few days, please let me know :) Other than that, check out a few of these close ups. Lots of these trichomes are purple as a motherfucker! This looks delicious :D Next week I'll have more picture of closeups of this plant so stay tuned becuase these are the final weeks of the Royal Gorilla :) It looks like I'm going to give it another 3-4 weeks before harvesting it :) So stay tuned and have an awesome day guys :) XOXO Cremo

Hi guys! Welcome to another update for Royal Gorilla. These are the final weeks of this plant. After the last res water change a few days ago the Dance World died but it seems that Royal Gorilla survived through the time where its roots were outside for an hour or so. I need to put them in a bucket full of water next time to avoid any further problems. That's the biggest lesson that I've learned this grow season. Other than that it's still growing. I'm really hoping for at least 200g of dry flower. Looking at the trichomes I can clearly see that these are the final weeks and I'll probably chop it down in around 2-3 weeks. So stay tuned and please enjoy some of the fine photographs, especially the nice and crisp close ups :) XOXO Cremo

Welcome to the abrupt end of the Royal Gorilla. It's a shame that the last water res change has made this plant and the Dance World die unfortunately. I'm pretty over it now, a few days after. I was pretty upset because I've kept these two plants in the veg state for very long in hopes of a big ass yeald and I've trained them like a champ! I'm just sorry about the time and effort I've put into these both plants for the last few months. But I've learned so much about a plants' life and that problems in the earliest stage can fuck things up heavily in the future. So now I know. It is what it is. I'm over it :) The only thing that I can do for this plant to honor the shitload of time and effort I've put into it is to take a few last nice photographs of its' almost dead body :P So here it is, the last day of the Royal Gorilla! Please enjoy. XOXO Cremo
