The season is over, it's time to take stock. The total weight of all the collected buds was 380g. Some had to be cut off due to the appearance of mold, but this did not affect the overall result, I am satisfied. The variety showed itself on the good side, the plant develops quickly and has a very strong smell. Reacts well to stress.

!!! 1,6 g / Watt !!! Growing setup: Setup: Grow tent HomeBox Growlab 80x80x180; Lights Quantum Board from Ledideal, two desks each 752meat power chips 7th generation 15cree red 660nm with control unit. Operating between 80W-260W, efficiency 211lm/watt in 140watt; System NFT Gro tank 75x75x30cm (seems I have some faulty product or Nutriculture is a shitty producer, because the plastic base for growing is not 100% flat, therefore there are some deep water areas at the front of water flow while there should be some light nutrient film. ;Ventilation Prima Clima 360m3/h filter fan Strain: Jack Herer from Trikoma Seeds, some young spanish seed bank. Seems like they've chosen for selection quite hazey pheno, their Jack Herer should flower 11-12 weeks, which is true sativa stuff Nutrition: Metrop line some shampoos This version of Jack Herer from Trikoma Seeds is very much into sativa pheno. Flowering stage took 13 weeks, which is absolute standard for oldschool haze strains. So in result we have typical haze strain with proper charasteristics. In my grow, 3 seeds were more on the sativa side with long characterisic colas and long flowers, 1 seed was more compact, with dense shorter buds and this flower was ready 10 days before the rest. Aroma of this strain was very citric during most of the grow, but in last weeks of flowering it went little bit to sweet side wit undertones of mango. After drying and curing, smell is more sweet than citric, with undertone of skunky animal smell. Yummy :) Effect is very cerebral, uplifting in beginning, keeping your brain fresh and clear, but in some hour it turns in very relaxed stage, and when you're tired little bit, you may feel sleepy. It is definitely mood amplifier. I have noticed some weird emotional gusts - I was emotionally touched and cried when watching stupid child movies like The Cars or Legend of Vaiana and others- which I'm not doing normally :))) So maybe it moves some chakras little bit. What is most important, when you have a good mate with you, you can catch the laughing seizure and giggle for hours like back in the 90s. Generally it's nice haze strain, very similar to Mango Haze or Super Silver Haze. I would expect shorter flowering time - 13 weeks is too much for Jack Herer! I would expect more compact and dense buds as well. Seed bank idicated the flowering time 77-85 days, what was not true (we needed 90 days). They indicated the potential harvest as 550g/m , which was surpassed in my case. (640g/m) So everything about the strain, taste, effect was already said above. I just only add the information, that I was trying to catch the seed bank to ask them about how they've selected the strain, if it's the original one from Sensi with just selected the sativa pheno, or their own breeding or whatever. But I haven't received any answer. Due to that reason I don't recommend the seed bank. Sorry guys, customer service is crucial! Righ now some grow info. Setup: Grow tent HomeBox Growlab 80x80x180; Lights Quantum Board from Ledideal, two desks each 752meat power chips 7th generation 15cree red 660nm with control unit. Operating between 80W-260W, efficiency 211lm/watt in 140watt; System NFT Gro tank 75x75x30cm (seems I have some faulty product or Nutriculture is a shitty producer, because the plastic base for growing is not 100% flat, therefore there are some deep water areas at the front of water flow while there should be some light nutrient film. ;Ventilation Prima Clima 360m3/h filter fan Nutrition: Metrop line some shampoos During the grow I've encountered the problem of badly produced NFT Gro tank, when there are shallow water places at the beginning of water flow and due to that fact I'm pretty much dissapointed. If you want to buy this NFT, double check the quality of plastic parts. During the grow I've decided to run a test with defoliation. Left part of tent was defoliated (I should say lightly defoliated, it was not hard core) and the right side was left with leaves. The result is.... I can't say absolutely anything :) Really guys, every plant is different and I can't compare them, because they come from seeds. This experiment would be valid, if we try this on identic clones. In my case, the biggest plant was on the right side, it means with leaves, but the truth is, the grow was affected by various disasters, so I guess that in best scenario, I could easily grow 200 g on each plant. But one result we have. I think we have proven, that defoliation doesnt affect the final crop in negative way. Next time I'll defoliate the plants fully - it's good way how to prevent mold in final stage of flowering. My another fault was that I gave them too much of nutes in last stage of flowering. I will remember fro next time, that sativa decrease the need of nute just after the growing spurt in early stage of flowering. Then some decreasing of nute amount is needed, otherwise you stress your plant too much in phase she should have the power for thickening of buds. We have touched the issue of lights! Look guys I told you, these super efficient HQL panels are future of growing. I've made 1,58 g/Watt, but I'm newbe and I'm pretty sure that next time I'm capable to reach 1,8-2 g/Watt, provided I'll avoid faults and mistakes.
