Not sure about the pin down technique, although I will carry on until flowering. It definitely requires more practice. Seems like the plant is willing to live, and the thing is I have only 3 months until my holiday, so there is no time to start over with an another grow. The genetics in this one isn't the best in my opinion, one stem grows really odd leaves. I will wait a bit more and if the strange shaped leaves are keeping growing, then I will have to cut off that branch.

Week 13, Harvest time is soon! I was able to give the plant some waterings of KoolBloom and the flushing process has began! I ran some ClearEx in the flushing process with 6.0ph water. This grow has been a great experience and I am excited to see what she looks like once I wet trim her :) I am going to cut down soon and have an update with pics and etc. It appears the buds did grower denser from the last past week or so. i started to LST the Black Diamond in order to get my ppfd nice and even across the whole canopy. Melonade runts are getting their LST next week. Homemade strains are catching well and are showing indica dominant phenotypes. i also started some LST and FIMming on the Oreo Blizzard Clone

The branching beast is doing well, but it's time again to bring her in a good shape. Also I'll set the LST new cause of the fast growing one of the branches started splitting up. So see ya next week when I maybe repot her in a bigger pot and cleaned her up!

Have her a big defoliating to allow light to the bud sites and to reduce humidity in the tent , she took it well and is growing really fast still. The smell is very old school skunk type smell at this point

F week 3. It gets really bushy. I had to do a second defoliation. At this point everything seems to go well.

Not much to say this week , she’s doing really well, last week I noticed which seemed to be nute burn she didn’t like the 1/2 dose of bites so I’ll go back to 1/4 dose on next feed but last feed I just gave her plain water which was on the 8th, She’s due a feed tomorrow going by the soil and the days since last water , I have also done some defoliation today , removed some of the larger fan leaves which was blocking the lower foliage, I only removed four leaves don’t want to stress her to much , Will up date next Sunday !

With IZI, everything is very easy. Automatic watering and conditions are close to ideal. The only thing missing for complete control is a CO2 generator with a sensor. I'm thinking of transplanting it to a 7-10 liter coco plant in a week or two and switching it to a 12/12 cycle.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * The ones remaining are MC2 MC3 and MC4, MC6 got tossed but I have a cut to run back. MC2 I have grown many of times and reversed for pollen, MC3 and 4 are new. 3 is almost done I should be chopping that one this week at some point and might be more impressive than 2 it has some serious nugs on it. 4 is also solid but taking a little longer than I would like it might be a 75-80 day finish. Next update I will have some good pics of at least 2 and 3, I am going to wait until I am ready to harvest before I bring 4 into the studio. This week stretching is done. One of them had a late growth spurt, and is now only 16 inches below the light. It doesn't feel too hot. Leaf temps are 78 right under the light. I'll leave it unless it starts to show signs of stress. You can clearly see her in the pics and video. I have a problem with controlling smell. My house has an entryway that is open to the basement but separated from the main floor, so the entryway smells like the basement. I know what you are thinking... But it is not flower smell. It smells too clean! The massive fan and filter are running at high power to control humidity, and that makes the whole basement smell not normal. Other than that, the tent is on autopilot for now. Not much work needed other than adding 5-10 gallons of plain water every day.
