Week 5 My little plant is still developing well and gaining in size. Granted, with limited light comes limited growth but I was expecting that from the get go. I'm happy with the progress and the plant is soon due for its first defoliation.

This girl was a fast finisher harvested on day 46 of flower, nearly 7 full weeks.

They're lagging a little from the transplant, hopeful next week we'll see their growth spurt starting. She seems to be one of the healthiest of the bunch.

Chopped the big tooth since she was flushed earlier due to issues. Also have the purple gorilla auto chopped and drying. Still flushing strawberry eclair and critical jack to come down next.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. This was my first ever grow and I am extremely proud of it. The nugs are dense and smell fantastic. The phenotypes on each of my plants were very unique, and each has its own smell. This did make it a little harder to care for the plants, but it ended up working out fine. I opted for a dry trim and did a tight manicure on the nugs. I plan on turning the trim into cannabutter using a sous vide machine.

Decided to let these ladies get one more week before I flip, wish me luck 🤞

did all the topping I plan to do and she's responding just fine. found a touch of fuzz on the old seed pod forming on the rockwool and removed it, as well as snipping off the internodal leaves that had some brown spots... and now she's clean and symmetrical! very definitely an improvement from a couple weeks ago :) did not do a full nutrient swap this week, so no pics or videos of the root system just yet... maybe mid week. tuned back the nutes just a tiny bit (mixed same nute in 1700 ml instead of 1500). not sure why, mostly instinct and to help keep it small (the whole point, really). she's fun to grow! if you've never tried a desktop nano grow... i highly recommend it 😊👌😺

Well she just keeps surprising me I thought she was close but she just keeps getting bigger and thicker and stinkier so he’ll yeah. She is getting some beastie blooms nothing else at this point.

Welcome to the pink feno hunt. I have a good feeling about this pack of 3 from fast buds. Very exciting. This is an attempt to recreate that one strawberry smoke... We will be growing these in bottles first so i can have a humidity cap on them (my tent is busy). After about 2 weeks we will have more room. The bottles have air circulation holes and a drain on the bottom. Plan is to top these in their temporary homes and then transplant them in larger 20 L pots so they can be trained. No nutrients for the first week. I will just be spraying their pots with PH water when they need it for humidity. Look for weekly updates.
