Week 10: Mold Warfare & Rainy Woes Update: 28.07.2025 | Day 79 Tough news first: Constant rain, humidity never drops below 60% - full-blown mold weather. Yesterday spotted first mold outbreaks. Cut immediately: 1 budsite on Forbidden Runtz, 2 on Green Crack. Damage contained for now thanks to eagle-eyed inspection. Daily mold patrols intensified. Strain Status in the Rain: Forbidden Runtz - Foxtailing worsens (humidity culprit?) - Trichomes mostly cloudy - 1 week to harvest target - Considering partial harvest: Biggest buds first, smaller ones risk mold - Beautiful purple hues emerging (ironically makes mold spotting harder) - Smell remains fantastic Green Crack - Fully sugarcoated but mold hit her hardest - Yield estimate: ~50g if no more mold - Trichomes: Cloudy but zero amber - needs 7+ days - Critical need: Airflow around thickest buds Bruce Banner - No mold yet (thank you sativa genes!) - Buds still swelling daily - stay vigilant - Resin production finally ramping up - Pistils showing vibrant colors - Mild aroma developing - Timeline: Minimum 2 more weeks Survival Protocol: - Daily inspections: Flashlight checks inside every bud - Immediate surgery: Sterilized scissors ready 24/7 - Yellow leaf purge: Remove wilted leaves instantly (mold incubators) Hoping your skies are sunnier than ours, Catch y'all next week. Week 3 since we first put seeds in the dirt. Found out the hard way that's not really how we want to germinate our seeds moving forward. Had a pretty shitty success rate. I still have 300 seeds left so, live and learn. The ak by critical mass has taken off pretty well, the OG Kush is taking longer than we expected, the quarter pounder is moving along quite nicely and the Northern Lights, which are only a week old are still lagging behind. In the "clone room" the MKUltra is looking very nice, growing extremely fast and we will probably be putting those into flower in the next couple of weeks. We went ahead and chose a few of them for mother plants; we took 25 clones today and set them up on a rack with cob LED lights. We also started our mother plant seeds; Northern Lights, blueberry, white widow, and super lemon Haze. Hopefully those will pop in the next few days, and in anticipation we have added a small mother room (closet really) for them where we will hang 2 800 watt LED cob lights and one Mars hydro sp250 and veg those out until we can start taking clones. Thanks for looking!

I am dropping a Deep Forest Auto for a coco coir grow in a air pot. First time using a air pot. It should not be any different then using a fabric potter. I scuffed both seed ends lightly. I then dropped it in water. Within 24 to 48 hours of seeing the tap root start I will plant it in the coco. I will then dome it till sprout. a week after the 100mm storm and just some spitting since then. To get good buds this plant needs regular water, so I hope mother nature starts giving us some more regular rain here.

I think I am worrying myself more than I need too. The calicum defficiency has took over around a half of the fan leaves on 1 of the plants. I don't have much hope in a great yield from this one but fingers crossed my other 2 were caught in time. Have folder fed with a slightly more concentrated spray of cal mag and ph'd water. Whilst keeping a feed, plain ,feed schedule Unfortunately I don't currently have access to a ppm reader so can't say for sure exactly what the problem is but It seems the defficiency has slowed/stopped. Will continue to monitor.

Last week, my pound cake auto plant totally exploded with growth! It's insane how much it's changed. I swear it grew several inches overnight. The leaves are this gorgeous shade of green, and the whole thing looks super healthy and happy. I'm seriously so proud of my little plant baby.

Another good week. Been trying to water with my mix a couple times a week. Otherwise I've been using the blumats. There has been twice though I overwatered with those and flooded slightly. Still trying to adjust them just right

Sky Walker ~~~~~INDOOR~~~~~ DAY 148 Above Dirt 💬SATURDAY 01.20.24 - The girls are starting to hum again after last week's harsh defoliation, today will be using Real Growers Recharge for their weekly Tea Feeding, will be top dressing again next week, and this may carry the girls until the end of thier grow cycle. 💬 MONDAY 01.22.24 - 6 solid weeks into flower and these ladies are starting to fatten up their buds, they are already becoming hard as rocks, I don't think they liked the heavy defoliation I put them through and may have to be content with smaller flowers, or, maybe not, we will see. The smells are amazing with a dank and earthy fragrance also some prominent citrus and fruity notes. 📝 REAL GROWERS RECHARGE -is a mix-and-pour soil microbe superpack. It works like an instant compost tea. The soil microbes in Recharge go out and grab the nutrients in your soil, help break them down, and bring them back to your plant's root zone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🌱Sky Walker 👨‍🌾Sativa Jones 🌤️@Medicgrow420 📝SeedBank Seeds 📝@gaiagreenorganics 📝Bokashi Biochar 📝Real Growers Recharge 📝 ProMix-HP ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 📝 Skywalker OG Strain is a top-shelf Indica dominant hybrid. It is a cross of Original Amsterdam Blueberry, OG Kush, and the indica strain Mazar from Afghanistan, and is best known for its super potent effects and sky-high THC levels.

After i topped the plant i didnt feed her right away. I let her recover. 06/05/2023 - Day 24 i finally watered the plant with nutrients. 07/05/2023 - This day has been awesome. At the end of the day i have noticed 2 new sprouts! One on top and other at the very bottom, below the coityledons! I will start LST soon so these new sprouts get light and start growing! I start to think it will be a challenge get this plants branches equally spread, but i´ll go for it anyway. 08/05/2023 - Day 26 i started with the LST. Just fixed main branch and bent it pointing to where the sun rises. This is very important when LST´ng outdoors. Always point your plants to where the sun rises so when she grows she points to the sunset. This week i added Alg-a-mic to help the plant recover from all the HST and LST. She seems to be fine and recovering fantastic. Will this be a monster Autoflower? ✌️

I pollinated a side bud of this girl and her seeds are developing quickly. Which is exciting for the sake of future grows. Other then that the buds are not super big at all but look super quality so I am happy with how things are progressing. As the week comes to an end the trichromes are really coming in and she is starting to smell very nice. I think one more week of flowering to fatten up a little more and then I will flush to finish. I learned that I started to feed flowering nutes to early and so my first two autos did not get super tall as a result. Learning a lot with my first indoor grow and first time with autos, I read a really solid breakdown of Autoflowers lifecycle that was super informative. I'll leave here, and post it with my final harvest post here. Knowledge is power 😎 LIFECYCLE OF AN AUTO A common question I see is when to switch autos from veg to bloom. Many people are under the impression that as soon as they see the first flowers it's time to switch. Perhaps a little explanation of the life cycle of autos will help to clarify this. Weeks 1 - 3. Once you've started your seeds and they break the surface of the soil, they are in their seedling stage. The first set of leaves to appear will usually single fingered, followed by a second set that may still be single fingered or perhaps 3 fingered. Once that second set appears growth will start to accelerate as the new leaves provide more photosynthesis. This process will continue, more new leaves, faster growth. Depending on the type of soil in use, mild vegetative nutes can be introduced at week 2. By week 3 most plants will start to show their sex. Males will start to produce pollen sacks and females will display pistils. Weeks 4 - 6. The plants are now entering a pre flowering stage. During this time the plants should exhibit explosive growth, often as much as a new set of nodes and 1" vertical growth a day. This is the time when they will gain most of their vertical height. Many people make the mistake of switching from vegetative to flowering nutrients at this point, assuming that since they see flowers it must be the proper time. This is incorrect. If the switch to flowering nutes is made at this time the vertical growth will stop and the plant will put it's energy into producing buds. If you need to keep your plants small, or want them to finish earlier, they by all means switch nutes at this point. But if you want to get the most out of your plants continue feeding vegetative nutes until you see the vertical growth slow and stop. Depending on the strain that will usually be sometime during week 5 or 6. Weeks 7 - 9. By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made. The buds will start to fill out and put on weight, becoming hard and tight. Pistols will start to change from white to brown, orange, red, etc. By now the plants will also have developed a strong smell. Toward the end of this phase the large primary and smaller secondary fan leaves will begin to turn yellow. This is an indication that the plant is moving toward the end of it's life. Weeks 10 - 11. At this time flowering nutes should be discontinued and only plain pHed water fed to flush the remaining nutrients from the soil and improve the taste. Yellowing of the fan leaves will continue as the plant draws the stored energy from them. Eventually they will die and fall off. By the time that the smaller leaves that come from out of the buds will also start to turn yellow. Then it's time to harvest. I know that many of you are thinking that the seed bank said the plants will finish in 8-9 weeks, so why are you saying they take 10-11? The claims made by the seed banks are somewhat deceptive. If you switch to flowering nutes at week 3 or 4 the plants can finish in the times the seed banks say but they will remain small and not reach their full potential yield. Years of growing by myself and others has shown that autos do best if you follow this time line. Of course, there will always be variations depending on the strain, the environment, nutrients, etc. This information is meant to only serve as a general guideline.
