I love this plant. She is so pretty and stinky. Not much to report just waiting on more amber trichomes and the chop chop. Hopefully the next update will be a harvest.

she has adapted very well to the change. a good increase in growth. she is now getting bio-grow from biobizz. and a little support. i am thinking of trimming her next week. i think she will be strong enough then.

Just continue to use canna nutritions and seems like biobizz all mix and canna have a lot of leaf growth other than light mix soil but all growing nicely some leafs yellowing at the bottom but might be light issues its only 2x 150w ts1000 and cant penetrat through the top leaves Ph 6.2-6.5 Ppm 1100 Humidity during rainy days 70% dry days 60% Temps not going over 26 and below 17

Platinum Gelato by In House Genetics Harvested in 2021 This is a partial diary. The "week" is relative to 12/12 light schedule. So, "week 5" is 35 nights of flower and not the 5th week of the grow unlike all of my other diaries. By far the frostiest strain I've ever grown. Not a whole lot of flavor, but certainly didn't taste bad, either. If forced to describe, maybe vanilla/creamy flavored. This one looked sexier, but Garlic Storm was better.

Missed a week because spider mites entered the party but we were quicker to act and shut the show down, lucky timing to say the least... dried the flower out in a cardboard box linked upto the bay6 grow tent. Took 7 days to dry properly since I left it in the tent beforehand for 6 days with no water... had a whopping weigh in at 180 grams!! Was shocked to say the least, as it was my first grow personally (but I have watched and cut with other people's grows).. all in jars burping process now. The banana smell is massively overpowering. I can't wait until its fully cured as it's only going get more potent..

3/11 Week 11 a day early due to visitors day 28 of Flower Her buds building and coning as any proud female would like. No signs of any deficiencies and the tips are ok so leaving all nuets as is. Halfway to projected harvest date according to Fast Buds, we believe them. Having some humidity issues due to our funky weather. Humidity running higher than is safe on lights out , 60-70%, so installed one small dehumidifier but getting a larger one today to add to it. That is pretty much it, hope for better pics later! Hubby just looked at the calendar wrong 😏 Fix what I can sorry folks thought it looked further along than that. pics

Been busy these past few weeks. 2 of the 4 plants didn’t survive an overly aggressive plant wash, so I had to pop more seeds. 1 of which appears to be a super strong pheno. Got the thrips and mites under control using beneficial nematodes in the soil and cucumeris predatory mite satchels at the base of the manifolds. Apparently the coco I used wasn’t pre buffered as advertised and I ran into a major magnesium deficiency. Could’ve been a lockout due to the dolomite lime I mixed into the medium, but if I had to guess I’d put my money on the coco hogging all of the mg in the worm castings. Top dressed with worm castings and Gaia green 4-4-4 all purpose, and then watered in max dose of cal mag+, cleared the deficiency up it appears. Lots of new lessons being learned this run. Still hopeful of a solid harvest at the end of the day.

Week 10 - Here we go … we’re at Day 64 or the very first day of week 10 from seed. It’s been a nice journey so far with no big issues except for a slight deficiency in the first week of flowering, which I duly adjusted by starting off Plagron’s green sensation or HULK juice as I like to call it. Now we’re heading onto the finishing line with dense buds boasting an array of colours and covered in trichomes. I’m keeping the trichomes under check and currently they are 90% cloudy and 10% clear. Day 68 - woooooooh …. Nearly there Day 70 - Winter is coming Girls are ready for harvest and this time round I want to experiment a little. Starting today I increased the dark period to 10 hours and intend to give them 48 hours complete darkness before harvest somewhere around Day 77. The aim ? I read that simulating winter helps the plants increase their trichomes production for the last push before they die. I also decreased the temperatures and humidity levels. Day 92 - Starting week 14 and this is by far the longest any strain I’ve grown has gone and I’m hoping she’ll be ready by the end of week 15. Debating on if I should start the nutes back up but not sure if that’ll do anything for her. Day 93 - Nothing much to update today but she will be needing some water tomorrow. All the leaves are being sucked dry but just don’t see the pistils starting to die off yet, all are still bright white. Gonna check the trichs tomorrow before feeding and maybe trichs will show she’s almost done. Worried I started flushing too soon. Day 94 - Gave her another 2 gallons of water pH’d to 6.6 today. Other than that I just removed quite a bit of leaves but still haven’t done a heavy defoliation yet. I’ll probably take care of that tomorrow since most of them are yellowed up now. A lot of milky trichs in there but still a ton of clear so still has some time left. Day 95 - Nothing much new today, just monitoring her trichs even though she still has a ton of white pistils. She does have quite a few milky but most clear overall. Day 96 - Nothing new to report today. All is looking good, just not sure when she’s gonna finish up. Not seeing any signs of the pistils dying off so gonna keep letting her go but still only giving her plain pH’d water. Day 97 - She still seems to be going strong. Gave her two gallons of pH’d water today. Really hoping I start seeing the pistils shrivel up soon. There’s a lot more milky trichs but still quite a bit of clear. Hoping she’ll be finishing up in the next two weeks. Day 98 - End of week 14 and still going strong. Nothing much I can say right now but I’m gonna keep giving her water until she finishes up. Looks like some of her pistils might finally be starting to shrivel up so may have two weeks left.

9/8 hugs are starting to fill out. Branches are drooping and falling from the weight. Weve had some intense wind here recently. Im surprised this ladies still standing upright. I tied her down to the side of rhe house in hopes to stop her from breaking or something. Cant wait to see her fill out🤘 9/10 she survived the wind storm. I still have her tied up cuz she flops over almost completely from her own weight

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!
