so i put a screen down. the light can only concentrate power in such a way that if i let them grow tall i will just have a huge central cola that stretches, which this was. i trimmed off some of the lower shit and everything that is more than 8cm below the top... would love to get a proper tent, im sure the reflection would boost my lights usefulness.. i persist..nutrients are by feel at the minute.. following bio canna guide but still adding a couple things like a drop or two of calmag or whatnot... now drinking a litre every 3 days. nice buds forming now. switched to flowering nute cycle now.... sort of... mad scientist shit. keeps me occupied. End of Week 15 (8th week of flower) Still cruising, everything has been running very smoothly and the smell is just undoubtedly off the charts. The ladies are showing off some colour and are fading naturally bringing out hues of orange and purple. I also noticed that the leaves and buds closest to the lights are showing significantly more colour that the ones that are further away. The colas are also getting heavy and there are some side colas that are hanging and needed to be reinforced to keep them upright. (This is a good thing obviously) I know I said I would start the flush (not giving any more nutrients/top-ups) but I decided to give them a small dose of Boom Bloom just to give the ladies that final boost. I boosted them in the middle of the week and the flush has begun after that. Only water from now until harvest. Pest Report: None Smell Report: HEAVEN

This plant was a show-er for sure! The plants sprung up from the very beginning with huge leaves and thick colas! Nice purple hues and dense nugs! Would definitely grow again!

Here we go! This should be an epic run! Hella Jelly by Humboldt. A rare sativa strain nowadays with a 45 day flowering cycle. If you know me, I'm in love with the Orange Creamsicle x Hella Jelly cross. I've run it twice now so I know I'm gonna love the parent genetics. This is under the Medic Grow Mini-Sun-2. This 150w light is built for the 2x2. I've got it up high but will lower slightly accordingly. I've been spraying the tops with water twice a day and will do that until one week. Harvest report for New York Turbo Diesel. Breaking ground to harvest was 84 days. Wet weight was 186 grams Dry weight =37g Power used for 12 weeks. 246.3Kw used on lighting. £73.89 at £0.30 a Kw Average 2.932 Kw a day =146 Watts power an hour during lights on. Dry weight from this grow. #1 49g #2 37g #3 46g #4 39g #5 51g #6 52g Total 273g True g/W = 273÷146=1.87g/W This was one great grow and there are a few strains I'm really considering running again straight away. This strain is one that I want to grow again but give her more space to flourish. She has grown decent solid buds absolutely coated in trichomes. One thing I have learnt during this grow is that the idea of cramming 9 autos into my tent was a stupid idea and trialling it with 6 plants was wise.

So far the floraflex potpro system has been paying off! My time in the garden went from 90 minutes to 15 minutes and the results speak for themselves. Since theyre all still in veg im expecting some big girls. Tried to hop on the no calmag schedule but some didnt take to well to it. So i dropped my dosage back to 3gr per gal of B1 and B2. New growth looks nice and healthy on the affected plant so i might start raising the dosage

This week did not go too well. The plants started being more and more droopy and barely grew, which you can clearly see in the time-lapse. I initially thought they were sitting in coco that was too wet, but drying it out did not help their case. I had already wanted to transplant them at this stage, but didn't have the right pot size available yet due to a late delivery. Then, at day 13 from planting the seeds, I received the pots and immediately went on to transplant them into wet buffered coco in 1 liter pots. They instantly recovered and have been doing great ever since as you can see in the last picture. Starting from the transplant, I have been feeding them with 0.5-0.7 EC water, a bit more than half of that made up of calmag, the rest coco A+B and rhizotonic. One is showing a slight calcium deficiency, weirdly enough. Especially as the coco was buffered in a 1.2 EC calmag solution for several days before use. Will keep an eye on this and might give some extra calcium as a mono nutrient. For now, next week looks promising. This update is a little late, so I can tell you that by next week's update they will look much better.
