Woche 17 | Blütewoche 1 – Der Stretch ist eröffnet! Mit dem Wechsel auf 12/12 ist die Laughing Buddha sofort in den Stretch gestartet und hat keine Zeit verschwendet. Innerhalb der ersten Blütewoche legte sie bereits 16 cm an Höhe zu. Ehrlich gesagt hätte ich mit einem so schnellen Start nicht gerechnet. Das dritte SCROG-Netz hängt inzwischen an seinem Platz und war genau zur richtigen Zeit bereit. Aktuell fehlen den meisten Spitzen nur noch etwa 5–10 cm, bis sie das Netz erreichen. Genau so hatte ich mir den Ablauf vorgestellt. Diese Woche habe ich außerdem mein Bewässerungskonzept komplett umgestellt. Statt alle paar Tage große Mengen Wasser zu geben, bekommt die Buddha jetzt täglich etwa 5 Liter. Der Hintergrund ist einfach: Ich möchte den lebenden Bio-Boden möglichst konstant leicht feucht halten, damit die Mikroorganismen dauerhaft arbeiten können und die Nährstoffe kontinuierlich verfügbar bleiben. Bisher gefällt mir das Ergebnis richtig gut. Besonders spannend sind dabei meine Bodensensoren. Einer der beiden Sensoren lag über Wochen selbst nach einer Gabe von 10 Litern meist nur bei 8–11 %. Seit der Umstellung auf kleinere, häufigere Wassergaben reagiert dieser Bereich plötzlich deutlich stärker und erreicht nach dem Gießen inzwischen Werte von fast 50 %. Für mich ist das ein klares Zeichen, dass der komplette 40-Liter-Wurzelballen mittlerweile aktiv arbeitet und das Wasser gleichmäßiger verteilt wird. Genau deshalb macht es so viel Spaß, diese Sensoren über längere Zeit zu beobachten – man erkennt Entwicklungen, die man von außen niemals sehen würde. Passend dazu steigt jetzt auch der Wasserverbrauch spürbar an. Mit Beginn des Stretchs zieht die Pflanze täglich deutlich mehr Wasser aus dem Substrat. Die Sensorverläufe werden von Tag zu Tag steiler, gleichzeitig bleiben die Kurven aber schön gleichmäßig. Genau dieses Verhalten hatte ich mir von der neuen Gießstrategie erhofft. Auch das Klima läuft momentan richtig stabil. Die Lampe wird aktuell nicht über Prozentwerte, sondern über den Abstand zum Blätterdach gesteuert. Mit rund 720 PPFD, etwa 24 °C und einem VPD um 1,4 kPa fühlt sich die Buddha offensichtlich sehr wohl. Den PPFD-Sensor passe ich alle paar Tage an die Höhe der obersten Triebe an, damit die Lichtintensität während des Stretchs möglichst konstant bleibt. Diese Methode gefällt mir inzwischen deutlich besser als eine reine Leistungssteuerung. Der Stamm entwickelt sich inzwischen zu einem echten Monster. Erst mit einem Feuerzeug oder meiner kleinen Buddha-Figur daneben wird deutlich, wie massiv das Grundgerüst geworden ist. Unter dem Blätterdach herrscht nach dem Lollipopping weiterhin viel Platz und Luft, während sich oberhalb des Netzes eine nahezu geschlossene, gleichmäßige Krone entwickelt hat. Genau das war das Ziel der langen Vegetationsphase. Mein persönliches Highlight dieser Woche ist allerdings der Zeitraffer. Die komplette erste Stretchwoche wurde aufgezeichnet und zum ersten Mal sieht man richtig, wie sich das gesamte Blätterdach Tag für Tag anhebt. Im Alltag fallen ein oder zwei Zentimeter kaum auf – im Zeitraffer wirkt es dagegen, als würde die Pflanze ständig in Bewegung sein. Genau auf diesen Moment habe ich mich seit dem Flip gefreut. Jetzt beginnt die richtig spannende Phase. Wenn die Laughing Buddha dieses Tempo beibehält, wird sie das dritte Netz schon sehr bald erreichen. Ich bin unglaublich gespannt, wie viel Stretch in den nächsten zwei Wochen noch dazukommt. Das Fundament steht jedenfalls – jetzt darf sie zeigen, was wirklich in ihr steckt.

I have a very small bit of powdery mildew on the girls. I have been using CuSo4-copper sulphate about every 3 days to keep it at bay. It seems to be working really well. They look great, are happy and are working hard on plumping up their flowers. I have 4-6 weeks until harvest would be my guess. Fingers crossed I can keep the effing PM from taking over. 😬

Everythings are going pretty well. The plant Is Happy and healty. See the difference from last week to now, before and after the defoliation. Look all the new growth are much bigger. It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. These girls are looking amazing the sparkly glitter everywhere, they are nearly on week 5 flowering, the smell they are putting out is grape gas OG Kush with some orange peel diesel funk. ⛽️

What a shift in weather! After weeks of baking in that brutal summer furnace, the temperatures finally dropped this week, and Mother Nature brought us some much-needed rain showers. Weather & Smart Shelter: 🌧️🏠 Because we are in peak flower, direct rain is the enemy. I kept the ladies under a roof outdoor to make sure they didn’t get drenched. Even though the humidity spiked quite high at times because of the wet weather, luckily it didn't stay locked in for multiple days in a row. That’s a massive relief because keeping airflow up and avoiding stagnant moisture is everything at this stage to prevent any mold issues! Overall, the girls handled the cooldown perfectly and are looking incredibly good. The Big News: Harvest Time for Team Indica! 🕵️‍♂️🔮 I pulled out the loupe to check on the progress of the quicker girls, and we have reached a major milestone: Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto & Banana Purple Punch Auto: The trichomes are now predominantly milky! They have officially reached that gorgeous peak window, so I will very likely be chopping them down over the next few days. The anticipation is through the roof, and I can't wait to see the final rewards from these two beautiful, frosty strains! The Sativa Crew Stays Out: ⏳🌿 Amnesia Haze Auto & Bruce Banner Auto: The more Sativa-leaning ladies are still doing fantastic but are running on their own timeline. They clearly need a little while longer to fully mature, which is exactly what I expected. Amnesia Haze: She is absolutely putting on a show right now. She is packing on serious bud mass by the day, swelling up beautifully, and turning into a heavier monster. It’s an interesting week ahead—part of the garden is getting ready for the scissors, while the other half gets to enjoy the extra space and keep bulking up. Stay tuned for the harvest update!

Things are looking real good now. Blueberry is in full stretch and she’s gonna be a big girl. Grapefruit coming along real nice after early struggles. I am having some issues with light burn on my blueberry, but I think it’ll be alright. Absolute explosive growth from the blueberry monster this week. She’s up to 43 inch and I’m loving the spacing she has. As you can see, not very much lst going on here, but that’s how I like it. Grapefruit has been chugging along real nice. Just starting to flower now and she’s a bushy gal. I’m really looking forward to the flowering weeks ahead. I think these two are gonna be pretty.

happy growing!!! its just been a shit week and I am just trying to make time to see the girls everyday before lights out. last week of nutrients and then its flush. I didn't go heavy at all on the nutrients, tried to stay organic for the most part using FOX FARMS soli and nutrients. 2/6/2I I try to stay away from chems to beef up the buds and I am relying on the light, bit of CO2 and the organics. problem is, I love my SF2000 so how to get more light out of this LED? do i I add another SF1000 to the mix? should I look to another lighting group to help enhance with another light bar? I don't want to get rid of a perfectly good light, I just want to enhance the buds with more light...,MAYBE if I ask SPIDER FARMER to build a custom light ( and I DID) I could get something to run down the side of the SF2000......fingers crossed

First timer grower with no green thumb. Learning as I go doing thorough research. The environment is hard to control in my shed, as my humidity and temperature are fluctuating more than is required within the range of +/-10 degrees. My next girl will definitely be done inside. Day 4 might have stunted its growth due to increasing temperatures into the high 30's. Day 6 slight yellow tint on the outer edge of the leaves Total growth for both girls in the first week is 1.5 inches. All in all, considering the condition they are under, I think they are looking pretty good.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit again but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid jeopardizing the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The good thing is that as soon as the lights are turned off the change is already visible a bit and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should be dehumidified too) - Our two Cosmic Noodles are in great shape, they have started the flowering process revealing the sex with small hairs near the internodes and now we are dancing. One plant is growing straight in Christmas tree style with just a little cleaning. The other one has received a topping and is opening up like a bush. --- Technique chosen as I mentioned one of the two plants was left to grow straight the other one worked with the topping only once. Quick solution that allows you to go into flowering together with the straight plants. --- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Create your card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. 🇩🇪 Cherry Limeade von Doja – Wochenkommentar Die Cherry Limeade von Doja steht weiterhin richtig gut da 🌱. Das Blätterdach bedeckt die 60 × 60 cm mittlerweile ziemlich ordentlich, auch wenn hier und da noch ein paar kleinere Lücken zu sehen sind 🌿. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Struktur aber sehr zufrieden. An Tag 20 habe ich dann den etwas schmerzhaften Teil erledigt ✂️. Ich habe die Pflanze gelollipoppt und alle Blätter und Blüten entfernt, die im Schatten lagen. Das entfernte Pflanzenmaterial habe ich direkt wieder als Mulch ins Beet gegeben ♻️. Ehrlich gesagt tut mir jede größere Entlaubung ein bisschen im Herzen weh, weil die Pflanze danach gefühlt nur noch halb so groß aussieht 😅. Aber diesmal gilt ganz klar Qualität vor Quantität 🎯. Ich möchte möglichst ausschließlich große Top Buds produzieren, die während der gesamten Blüte ausreichend Licht bekommen ☀️. Eine interessante Erkenntnis hatte ich diese Woche auch beim Tensiometer 💧. Ich musste feststellen, dass das Manometer offenbar etwas hängt. Durch leichtes Klopfen bewegt sich die Nadel wieder und zeigt anschließend einen anderen Wert an. Rückblickend hatte ich wahrscheinlich gar keine zu niedrige Saugspannung / hohe Bodenfeuchtigkeit – die Pflanze hat sich schließlich optimal entwickelt 🌱. Das Problem lag vielmehr darin, dass das Tensiometer teilweise falsche Werte angezeigt hat. Zum Glück habe ich mich zusätzlich immer auf die Fingerprobe und vor allem auf die Entwicklung der Pflanze verlassen 👆🌿. Dadurch ist trotz der fehlerhaften Anzeige alles gut gegangen. Ich habe das Tensiometer nun herausgezogen und komplett neu mit Wasser befüllt 💦. Allerdings muss ich das Manometer weiterhin leicht anklopfen, damit sich die Nadel zuverlässig bewegt. Mein Ziel bleibt bei etwa 120 mbar Saugspannung während der Blüte. Heute gab es außerdem 3,5 Liter Almicanna Flower Komposttee 🌸. Der Tee wurde zuvor insgesamt 48 Stunden unter Belüftung gebraut und durfte anschließend ins Beet 🫧🌱. Jetzt heißt es erst einmal zurücklehnen und der Cherry Limeade beim Aufbau ihrer Buds zuschauen 😎. Nachdem sie sich in den nächsten Tagen von der Entlaubung erholt hat, werde ich die Lichtintensität schrittweise auf 1000 PPFD erhöhen ☀️. The canopy now covers most of the 60 × 60 cm tent quite nicely, although there are still a few small gaps here and there 🌿. Overall, I’m very happy with the structure. On day 20, I had to do the slightly painful part ✂️. I lollipopped the plant and removed all leaves and flowers that were sitting in the shade. Instead of throwing the plant material away, I added it straight back to the bed as mulch ♻️. I have to admit that heavy defoliation always hurts a little because the plant suddenly looks like it has lost half of its mass 😅. But this time I’m clearly going for quality over quantity 🎯. My goal is to produce mainly top buds that receive plenty of direct light throughout flowering ☀️. I also discovered something interesting with the tensiometer this week 💧. The pressure gauge seems to be sticking slightly. A gentle tap on the gauge makes the needle move again and reveals a different reading. Looking back, I probably didn’t have excessively high soil moisture at all – the plant has been developing perfectly 🌱. The problem was simply that the tensiometer was occasionally giving me inaccurate readings. Fortunately, I also relied on the finger test and, most importantly, on how the plant itself was developing 👆🌿. Because of that, everything worked out despite the faulty readings. I have now removed the tensiometer and refilled it completely with water 💦. However, I still need to gently tap the gauge to get the needle moving reliably. My target remains around 120 mbar soil suction tension throughout flowering. Today I also gave the plant 3.5 liters of Almicanna Flower Compost Tea 🌸. The tea had been actively aerated and brewed for a full 48 hours before being applied 🫧🌱. Now it’s time to sit back and watch the Cherry Limeade build those buds 😎. Once she has recovered from the defoliation over the next few days, I’ll gradually increase the light intensity to 1000 PPFD ☀️.
