Start of week 4, had a small problem I turned the mixing pipe on last Monday and forgot to turn it off so they didn’t drink for 3 days. All seem ok now.

Hi all What a great week it has been for the Zammi girls this week. I flipped them to flowering two days after my last entry. They had reached a good point for my space to make sure that I have the airflow and light coverage to endure the mains could all benefit. The results of the H.s.t/Quad training has been successful and I now have multi merristems ( mains) of equal position . This will now hopefully feed them all the benefits that the main usually gets and ensure lots of chunky colas with very little popcorn to waste energy on. Bruce Banner #3 is performing brilliantly. I did lose the snapped and repaired f.i.m but the crown of mains ( 8) and the single one left in the middle will be a great foundation for the next stage of their life. This lady has not missed a beat from the Germination and is showing the breeding experience that has produced it too. No signs of any issues at all so far. Candy Rain although a lot smaller than her cousins from Zammi is beginning to catch up very nicely with 4 very chunky looking mains forming. The last next week of stretch should give her a very nice shape and structural strength for some fat colas too. Her colour and vigour is excellent and the rips are putting out so e very nice energy too. Jealousy #1 is really enjoying the chance to push as many of her branches to light as possible with the opening up of her natural growing structure. Plenty of in-fighti g to be the main stem which is a benefit and her overall size and appearance is excellent. #2 has really been a shock with the size of some of her fan leaves ( see pic) She has a few huge I es that will be grabbing so many lumens to convert that I will be sad to defoliate them . She is really fighting to impress over her sister it seems and her overall size is just a little smaller than #1. They have plenty of lower stem growth with fairly short node lengths that will form up to make some very long thick colas hopefully. Seeing how well these girls have filled the space and the nice even canopy that is still uniform after a weeks stretch , I think I will need to defoliate at day 21 of flowering to make sure they don't get too close together and stop the cool fresh air from circulating through them all. We are just warming up in the UK so I thinkni will need to also keep check on room temps and humidity more now too. Another week done. She's pretty much on autopilot. Still got quite a few weeks left though, must be very Sativa dominant 💪

Germinated in paper towel and then in soil prepared 24 hours before just with water. I decided to do outdoor cause temperature now is good but i m not sure is going to be hot enough for all the month.

1/12: impatiently waiting for lemon auto to finish up. Still not sure what the northern lights is trying to do, but..the little buds are slowly growing. S l o w l y... 1/14: things are getting out of hand in here. Northern lights is bushy AF again but the budlets appear to be increasing in size. Lemon is getting closer every day. Looks like I've got milky trichomes and the pistils are darkening. Still a bit early, but I'd be lying if I wasn't anxious for the space.. 1/15: I've accepted that I have at least a week ish left on Lemon auto,but she's getting there! I did some rather risky defoliation on northern lights and holy shit, she's got potential. I'm hoping she's just a slow grower and those buds will really fatten up! Perhaps lemon is just a really fast growing plant? I've also decided that since space is limited, my best bet is to probably rotate the plants every other day to allow all bid sites an opportunity for direct light. I'm reigning myself in. Once lemon auto is harvested I need to NOT immediately plant another. I've got some mephosito seeds I want to get going, but I've learned my lesson. This tent fits two 5 gallon mature plants... Uncomfortably. Three is too many 😂 1/17: wondering if northern lights has is it her to fatten up. Gave her a good flush &feed. Popcorn buds or not, I'm invested (#forscience). Lemon auto is still finishing up. Can't get good enough pics with phone to see trichomes. Clearly, I have a minimum of a week left, but I got a digital microscope so I can keep track! Should be here for next update.

I busted myself up so havent been able to get into the grow much for a couple weeks. They are definitely thirsty and not getting enough water so will water more deeply next time around a gallon per tote a day.

Week 4 of flower and the boys have finally spilled the pollen. It’s bloody everywhere in there so I expect that no bud has gone undefiled😎. The females have all witnessed a pretty significant nitro deficiency now that they’re trying to produce seed instead of flowers. We changed out the nute mix to 1/3 grow and 2/3 bloom and they immediately showed improvement. No slight against Druid at all - we moved to a different brand simply to conserve it for the flowering runs where it really matters👍. The lone separated spicy bitch female that entered flower early is looking really sexy. I very much doubt she’ll have escaped full pollination with this much in the air however. We won’t use any seed from this girl but if we’re lucky we might be able to pull out some sample bud. We’re taking down all the males today now that their job is done and we’ve also decided to harvest from the one specific cum dumpster male that has shown as the most vigorous. Doubt we’ll get around to using it before it’s shelf life expires but u never know. The details on that will be in the harvest entry coming up. Other than that - we’re through the fornication stage and it’s all just keeping the ladies alive until it’s time to extract some seeds👍😎👍. Still workn on the potential cross names - that’s the best part😉. Until next week🤟👊. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Weeks 7-9 Days 42-63-5 Both phenos got defoliation done to them and opened them up for fattening. They've stopped putting upwards hight and on day 42 I done their only heavy defol and put them back under my P1000 (100W led) which did this plant from start to finish. Kept steady feeds. The last 4 days or so it was put on water. After 6hrs dark rest both were chopped and hung upside down. (More indepth 3 week review) Phenos at the end of week 6 here, finished preflower both are around 62-65cm. Been the general hight for my other 2 pheno pot grow . Then on day 42 I done a hard defoliation and just put them back under the light for 3 weeks. Steadily kept feeding Xpert Nutrients but not in the way I should have. But, for the short time (9 weeks) and just making sure that the substrate never ran dry. I got some decent results. Again these were more tests. As I like to see how breeders phenos react in similar environments and you can't get closer than being in the same pot, got 2 small but more or less twins of Auto Fractal, giving me around 45-50 dry grams Nutrients were given sparcely but always made sure NPK feeds were no longer than 3 days apart. Had I given everyday and focused more on flushing etc. Id of gotten bigger phenos. But, it was a test. And I got to try their autos and now know that I'm most cases you won't get 7-10g plants. Just give enough space and don't stress and you'll get big autos. Put on good bud mass just under a 100w in a crowded tent. Got really fruity bud and overall very happy with my 2 small lush phenos 1st 2pheno (separate strains, autos kabul/opium also showed how steady the genrics are I've got a 5 pheno SCROG of Euphoria fem by Divine coming along nicely. I also have a white widow auto by divine in an 11L pot and its really big its still weeks out from being done. Proving to me. Their gentics are 🔥 and give good results if you put in the right effort.
