Day 36 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? Week 1 of 12/12 light cycle. Hit the plant prior to the flip with a top dress of all purpose/power bloom 50/50 and 2 tbsp of basalt rock dust. Seeing a lot of activity on the top layer of soil. The microbial life is THRIVING. End of week 1. Slowly dropping RH to 50%. Already seeing a decent bit of stretch. May need to figure out a way to get my light level with the top of the tent in the event I run out of headroom. Not sure how much of a stretch to expect with the holy communion being it is my first run with them but the blue dream I should be more than okay as I flipped last run with them way taller than this time around.

1/2/23 she’s doing great I moved a leaf and noticed that she has tan lines. That is amazing. This lights incredible I took the two bottom branches that I usually trim off. I’m glad I didn’t because I got 1.83 ounces and 1.78 ounces wet. This plant has been the best strongest plant I’ve ever grown it’s really nice and it smells great. I’m gonna give the rest of her, maybe another couple weeks it’s just exciting to watch her grow. I’m not in a hurry to harvest. I do partial harvest as I go along. 1/3 I turned the viper spectra XS1500 light down to halfway which is 82.3 W. And the amount of energy still is more than two of my old spider farmer lights. I had no idea how important brand new LEDs are this is just fantastic. I bet I can grow an entire plant for probably 90 W. 1/4 yum yum omg smells gooooooood.. FYI, Just because a Gamorrean pledges their loyalty doesn't mean they wont eat your weed, lesson learned. 1/4 Just smoked some that had been drying for only 2 days. The smell was so strong like no auto I have ever smelled. This is like top shelf photo from the dispensary. I am totally impressed. 1/6 i’m going to set up a new tent. It starts with the power source. It looked really ugly, so I wanted to try something nicer. I got one of the TP Link power strips three individual outlet controls for the smaller tent that I will germinate in my use one to monitor the power of the light and I keep switching them around. It’s really nice to have. 1/8 I’m going to plant some seeds today. It’s Elvis’s birthday. I threw away a liter of Purpinator today. I’ve been having nutrient troubles, and I noticed a little that I had mixed up in a small spray bottle had started to congeale. And after I tried 6 mL of it in a gallon twice I noticed some plant damage. I don’t know if it’s that stuff or not but when I add something new it seems to cause damage. So I will never use that again. it’s taking me a month to set up a small 24 x 24“ tent I don’t know what’s wrong with me so I have two 27“ x 27“ and one 24 x 24“. The small tent will be for photoperiod also for germination, the other two are going to be for autos only. I’ve discovered auto flowers need their own tent and their own space, especially the way I train them. I top them after the 3rd node then wait until a couple weeks into flower and I soften the branches pressing them between my thumb & index finger to keep them limber then spread them out so they kind a look like a giant crab, but they grow up very strong and they don’t need support I was going to go with 5 gallon but I think it would be just too heavy so I’ll stick with 3 gallons. I’ll be starting to gorilla cookies this coming week probably tonight, but I’ll start the diary tomorrow. If you hold the phone up to the TV, it types out the dialogue . I’m gonna d mad max later don’t you wish you were like me easily amused? You get a lot less brains on your wall that way.

week 10

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = .46kw * 0.15kw = .17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = .99kw *0.15kw = .85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = 4.30kw *0.15kw = .65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. .17 + .85 + .65 = .67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. .67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. .67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Mal gespannt was noch so passiert!

Plants are growing! But so is my mold problem I recently got a hygrometer and noticed that my humidity was ranging from 64-70 percent which I realize is too high and maybe that is where my mold is coming From im starting to see it coming from the drain holes on the bottom of my pot. I’m going to get a dehumidifier and see how that works. Also I attempted lst to both plants . The doc og is a week older and definitely bigger than the apples and bananas but but are coming along nicely.

Another week went by so fast! Her buds are developing nicely, becoming more colorful and much thicker. After each defoliation we are discovering more and more buds that were growing beneath the leaves. The numerous trichomes turn into milky, little bubbleheads. I really adore the look of her buds this close; the colors, as well as the overall look is just stunning! Topdressed her with worm castings (Plagron.-Mega Worm) for supplementary nutrients. Additionally watering with pure water to balance out the nutrient level within the plant. Also added some SF nematodes (Steinernema feltiae) to resolve our issue with fungus gnats.

Day 106 14/10/24 Monday Her colours are really coming through now 🤩 Nearing her end now, possibly another week after this ✌️💚 Picture and video update 📸💚 Day 108 16/10/24 Wednesday Light watering, she isn't drinking anything, trichomes only just starting to turn amber. I'll leave her now till I chop Day 109 17/10/24 Thursday She is starting to dry from 1" now. Putting her in 24hrs dark 🌑 now. Will harvest Tomorrow

Talk about a mission accomplished, dam you Lamby… you had me excited at one point when I thought you were an auto, but to my shock, you are a regular, you just have a long ass flowering window… at least unlike her sisters within the 4th cycle, she did not reveg she just focused on flower, the buds are bulky and firm, scent is amazing, you would mistake her for a cheese strain. I should not be disappointed by the plant’s size! Because I planted her during winter, and all outdoor or greenhouse(unless you have a GH that is climate controlled), do not grow as big as the would during spring or summer season, and due to this factor, I only got 59g of wet bud. But I have faith the other ladies will produce a higher yields. Last I smoke this strain was earlier late summer or early Autumn, and from smoking to growing now harvest, I wish I am blown out the water with this strain, it’s time to conduct that questionnaire. Or even better go to an established cannabis club, and get them to samples bud, and ask for a review.

Edging along. Less leggy now. Would probably benefit from longer hours of light, but my Haze is in third week of flowering and 12/12 is mandatory just now. Haven't filled the DWC pot yet. Once a week I dip the rockwool in a weak Ionic Hydro Grow solution. That's all she gets, for now.

Ladies are doing amazing. First week of flower. I’ve went ahead and topped dressed with worm castings Gaia green 444 and 284 and Bone meal also water them with stash blend.
