Such a great week! One of the best weeks is seeing the colas start to develop. Makes me happy to be a grower!! This week I was playing around a little with my temps/humidity, trying to get a better understanding of VPD. I'm sure most growers on here have or are currently battling Rh fluctuations inside their grow tent. As plants age, especially during flower, they release moisture into the air causing Rh levels to increase. Also every time you feed you are adding water (moisture) into the air which in late stages typically you feed/water 1G plus each time per plant. That is a lot of water! Depending on your setup you may not be able to keep your Rh down in the mid-high 50s. With most VPD charts there are "sweet" spot ranges to keep your temps/humidity levels at for the right VPD. So in the end I have raised my temps up to 28-30 C and my humidity is now 58-65%. After adjusting my levels, I noticed a HUGE improvement in plant production and how healthier each plant looked. The Purple Kush was having deficiency issues and with it being only a week away from the start leeching (flushing), I kept feeding it as normal. Buds were looking really nice compared to the previous Purple Kush. The Moby Dick's were also starting to show signs of deficiencies. My guess is to be Potassium (P) or Phosphorous (K) deficiency but It didn't play around with the nutrients. At the end of this week, according to the Remo feeding charts, week 5 is an increase in nutrients so I just let them go. My feedings are pretty much consistent each week which is about 5 feeds each plant. I do the lift technique and when I can lift the pot with little to no effort I feed.

And Black Diamond Pheno A has certainly developed one. 💎 A Natural Beauty Becoming a Giant Last week she impressed me. This week she surprised me. Standing at 169 cm, she has continued stretching while maintaining one of the cleanest structures in the entire room. Long branches. Excellent spacing. Beautiful symmetry. Every branch seems to know exactly where it wants to grow, naturally reaching for the light without fighting for space. The central cola has become a true focal point, but what impresses me even more is how evenly the secondary branches are developing around it. The entire plant feels balanced. Confident. Purposeful. Sometimes you look at a plant and immediately know she's going to become something special. That's exactly the feeling I get every time I open the tent. 🌸 Flower Production Is Moving Fast This is where things are becoming really exciting. Bud formation has accelerated dramatically over the past week. Every flowering site is stacking beautifully, with fresh white pistils covering nearly every inch of the future colas. What's particularly impressive is how far ahead she appears compared to her actual age. If someone showed me these flowers without any context, I'd probably guess she was at least another week or two further into bloom. The flowers already have real presence. The main cola is thickening. The side branches are filling in rapidly. And everywhere I look, I see healthy calyx development preparing for the bulking phase that's just around the corner. She's definitely one of the most advanced plants in the room. ❄️ Frost Arriving Earlier Than Expected Another pleasant surprise this week has been the resin production. Even this early into flowering, the sugar leaves are already beginning to sparkle. Tiny trichomes are appearing across the developing flowers, creating that first shimmering layer every grower loves seeing. It's still early. There's a very long way to go before harvest. But she's already hinting at the frosty future she's preparing. If this pace continues... She could become one of the frostiest ladies of the entire project. 🍃 Letting the Plant Do What She Does Best One thing that hasn't changed throughout this grow is my approach. No topping. No high-stress training. No unnecessary defoliation. No complicated techniques. Only occasional leaf tucking whenever a large fan leaf blocks light from reaching a developing flower site. That's it. Everything else has been entirely natural. Watching her develop like this is a wonderful reminder that healthy genetics often know exactly what they want to do when given the right environment. Sometimes the grower's biggest job... ...is knowing when not to interfere. 💧 Feeding the Next Stage of Bloom As flowering accelerates, the feeding program continues supporting the increasing nutritional demands. The close-ups show flower sites rapidly stacking along nearly every branch, already carrying impressive numbers of bright white pistils. One thing that immediately catches my eye is the amount of visible frost beginning to appear on the sugar leaves. It's subtle. But it's definitely there. The main cola is quickly becoming a beautiful spear, while the secondary branches are following closely behind. Through germination and was delighted to experience 100% success rate👍 Killer Kush in other diaries has been more squat but a thick grower........time will tell😀 So far this pheno has been slower coming out but I notice she was a fat seed and her leaves are already thicker as well on her first set of true leaves........maybe a slow Indica?? Sweet Seeds is always solid and expect this girl to bring a smile at some point👌👍 Greater focus on VPD this run. Already pushing the humidity higher than I ever have with having controller set at 72% with temperature at 79 degrees. I have been reviewing the numbers and I have normally been close but it looks like I have to raise everything by about 10% and for a few weeks long😬😬😬😬😬😬 Trust the science and lets learn some more from this grow!!! *****Daily Detail: Apr 11, Day 1: - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml first watering given with nutrients as listed. (minus Velokelp) - pH water to 5.6 - Girl is up and looking like she is ready to go. Apr 12, Day 2: - VPD - 1.0 - 500ml feeding with VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, Piranha & Voodoo @ 1ml/L. pH to 5.6 - lowered light intensity a bit more. - leaves are wide already on her first set. Apr 13, Day 3 - VPD - 1.2 - 500ml water with 0.5ml/L each of Piranha & Voodoo, Dual Fuel. - 300ppm with 5.4pH. Apr 14, Day 4 - VPD - 1.1 - 500ml water with Virtathrive and Piranha & Voodoo Juice @ 1ml/L, VeloKelp @ 2ml/L, and SensiCal @ 0.5ml/L. - 210ppm with 5.5pH. - She is gaining speed!!!! She is the fastest out of the bunch now. 2.5” tall and pushing out her second leaves pretty hard.😀👍 Apr 15, Day 5 - VPD 1.0 - 250ml water with VeloKelp @ 1ml/L. - 95ppm with 5.4pH. - She was a little slow in the seed but has been doing very will getting taller so far. Colour is good and she getting thicker leaves. Leaves really separating. - Moved all the girls today one spot in a clockwise rotation. - Noticed more residual moisture on the bottom of the pots than anticipated. Apr 17, Day 7 - VPD 1.1 - Turned on flower light on UnitFarm this afternoon and they are happier. - Dry out day today and no added water/feed, just misting. - Let the medium dry out a bit and give a nice week 2 feed tomorrow.....they are ready for a little more nutrients now. - She is doing well. Second set of leaves out, will be working on third soon. Wide leaves. She is leaning a bit🍺🍷😃👌

Hello, fin de semaine 4 de croissance. Toujours une grosse différence entre les 5 plantes. Ce qui m’encourage à travailler la bouture pour les prochaines fois, pour ne plus avoir une telle différence 😞 J’ai donc réalisé un topping sur 3 plantes, les plus grandes. Et aussi une défoliation pour laisser la lumière atteindre les parties basses qui demande à grandir. Ce qui semble plutôt bien fonctionné pour l’instant. Pour le moment il n’y a plus rien à faire, juste les laisser récupérer et se développer. J’avais poussé mon ec jusque 1.7, mais j’ai l’impression que c’est trop fort compte tenu de leur stade, je suis donc repassé à 1.5/1.6. Nous verrons si elles réagisse bien. J’ai aussi changé la lampe. Je suis passé sur la slim600h à 50%, soit 300w à 100cm. Elles semblent apprécier. Voilà c’est tout pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

Day 1 soaked seeds for 18hrs. Day 2 seeds in dirt two seeds already popped in water and they where the auto's. Day 3 just keeping them moist and warm. Day 4 Northern lights came up and Great white shark came up. Watch these seeds sometimes the shell doesn't come off and you got to help it Northern lights shell was stuck and I took a tooth pick and helped it get it off. Day 5 Acapulco gold came up still waiting on Yumboldt auto and it had a tail on it when put in dirt.. Day 6 planted another Yumboldt auto seed directly in soil the other one was bad. So this one will be 6days behind others.

Im still continuing the rest. Will update on the harvest this weekend

Day 69 - 15/11/19 Were finally here at harvest and im happy with the result :) i planned as much as i could and winged the rest :) I collected lots of small, early harvest buds and left them to dry. kept a small bit for bongs and put all the really sticky trim in the freezer! gonna make cannabutter with it next week :) I liked the strains i chose from RQS, they took every newbie mistake i threw at them :D ive learned so much and it shows in my other diaries :) Il update this harvest a couple of times through this last week to show the effects of drying and curing, other than that thanks to all for helping and check out my other diaries to see how ive progressed :) Update - 18/11/19 I dried the buds for a couple of days and wow they dry well :) smoked them in a bong and it got me over a rough few days. I didnt see the point in curing this as i only got a couple grams. and to even get a couple of grams off a plant that had such a bad transplant just shows how resistant they are. I loved this strain, the smell was funky and it was a joy to grow. Thank you RQS!

26.1.25: I have had a mistake 😕 i spilt some Fish Mix as I was experimenting with a syphon from some aquarium tubing I have. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the syphon out! Ugh 😣 However, it is fish emulsion and very thick consistency. Therefore, I was able to scrape it up with 2 of my business cards up off the counter. So added this extra into the next 2 ltr solution I mixed. All plants were watered with at least 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3. Containing the following nutrients;- ♡ 3ml Seachem Seaweed ♡ 4ml Biobizz Fish Mix ♡ 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow ♡ 3ml Biobizz Bloom ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 2ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag ♡ .25g Ecothrive Biosys. ♡ 2.5g of Bicarbonate of Soda as PH UP. Unfortunately I have broken my PH pen too. Accidentally submerged it under water, then the readings went crazy. I'm leaving it to dry by standing it up but I'm most likely going to need a new one, which is extremely annoying 😑 I'm going start implementing the Scrog net probably some point next week if I let the plants that are in flower to just grow up now, as I do believe that I stunted Watermelon 🍉 by using too strenuous LST. Hopefully the plants still are able to grow upwards at this stage during flower for all the Purple Punch P1, P2 and P3. We will soon see! 28.1.25: My PH pen has packed up 😣 I've got to wait to get another. It's super annoying 😑 so I'm just judging by memory how to regulate it. Unfortunately, that's my only choice! I'm also out of the dechlorinator 😕 things are not going very well this week so far 😅 I guess we will have to make do, until I can get replenished. 29.1.25: I removed all the plants, hoovered, and disinfected the tent. There were several accidents when watering, causing some debris and splashes. I decided to just go ahead and get a few other things done. It's crazy how quickly things can become neglected! 😣 So I defoliated moderately on all plants except Gorilla Cookies seedling. I have absolutely dropped the ball on my lighting situation! My light was much further away than I thought! I turned it up to 100% and dropped it down to just under 2 feet away. After I reset the tent, I set up my scrog net. I removed 80% of all LST pegs. I am planning on letting the scrog net take over the training from here. I really want to minimise the risk of mould, so I decided to start using my dehumidifier. It has raised up to 73% RH this week, so it's necessary. Hopefully, I will be able to get my dechlorinator and PH pen soon! That's kind of essential to me. It's been a little bit of a stressful day in the garden, to be honest 😅 30.1.25: So I am expecting the arrival of my new PH pen today, as well as my new bottle of Ecothrive neutralise. It is supposed to measure the TDS and EC in addition to the standard TEMP and PH, which I had previously. Obviously, time will tell if it's any good or not. I realise, much too late now, that my lighting is very insufficient for this many plants. I need double the watts at least, and coverage is very poor. I remembered I had an old LED floor lamp, which was in a corner being unused. I decided to take the stand off, and Zip tied the pole onto the tent pole at the back left corner. I have no idea what the wattage is, and it's quite pathetic 😅 but I mean, I might as well use it, being as I definitely cannot afford more lights! 😣 Next grow, I will probably only grow 2 plants, max 4, and just use larger 7-10 Gallon pots. Being as I ran out of dechlorinator, I only watered some plants properly because I only had enough to make 6 litres. When my pen arrives, I will get everything properly watered. 31.1.25: The leaves of several plants are showing signs of iron deficiency. This is likely due to my PH pen packing up earlier. I now have a new pen. Due to this, I decided to use my Seachem Prime, which I use for my aquariums. As I wanted to get them watered properly, and my Ecothrive Neutralise hasn't arrived yet. I watered each plant with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. I added .25g Ecothrive Biosys to the water. May give them a breather on the nutes and just use the Cal-Mag and Biosys. Being as I've just topped dressed with rich fertilisers, I'm sure that will be OK for the next several waterings. 1.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 has started flowering. The size and shape of her is quite laughable 😅 Retrospectively I started the LST too early and went in too heavy with it too. That obviously wasn't a great idea. Still, this is my first run attempting to do LST, and I have a whole bunch to experience and learn from here! 😅 We may get lucky with a stretch. Who knows right. I remember this one was supposed to finish really early, like 10 weeks or something so hopefully will get at least a bit bigger 🤞 Also the new growth is still a little bleached out. Hopefully the switch to a functional PH meter will correct the imbalance which may have occurred due to my previous one packing up. Snipped another couple leaves which were annoying me 😅 I realised this is one of the pots I put my clay pebbles the bottom of. So I've probably not been watering enough, as she's right at the back, and assuming all was good because the pot was heavier. Removed a couple of leaves from Bubble Kush

Start of Week 7! Day 44 - 12/12 Looks like I guessed right with the seed swap because this girl has clearly shown she's the LSD-25 this past week. Very excited for my first purple plant since I wasn't able to pull much purple out of my Chocolate Mint OG in my first grow. Glad I have 2 more seeds of this strain so I can give them a better chance at growing up before flower in a future grow. Maf' looks like a Solo Cup Challenge in a 5gal pot 😅 Adjusted the LST and clipped two fan leaves between the top nodes to give the secondary sites a bit more light (Not shown in Day 44 pics) Fed with the same PH Perfect MGB/Molasses mix but upped the MGB to .75ml a gal split between the 3 plants I have going now and given a water chaser to keep the top layer clean from build up. Day 48 - 12/16 Gave another wash out feeding with gallon and a half of Water/Molasses mix split between the LSD and two Cali Snows. Also added D-Earth as a preventative measure on the soil since they're starting to form buds. Trying to avoid any future harmful chems or oils on the flowers if some little buggers decide to move in plus it kind of adds silica when you water it in. Pulled the plants out for a good look and slight LST adjustment. Not much to do on the LSD-25 since she set flower early and the size/structure is locked in. Can only lean and spread to try and get the small amount of bud sites to fatten as much as possible. It is very exciting to watch the purple starting to form in the buds and leaves. She won't be big but I'll try and make her pretty fo sure 😈 Not too much smell to her yet but it could also be due to the fact that the Cali Snows I have are starting to get their stank on and probably overpowering anything the LSD is throwing out. Day 50 - 12/18 Biggest feed so far! Split 1.5ml each of PH Perfect MGB kit and 2 tsp across 2 gallons of feeding solution. LSD-25 got 0.5ml each + 1tsp Molasses and chased with a couple more litres (You imperial American's got me all messed up on this site) Will give a day to dry a bit before giving the top layer of soil a spray down with water to get rid of any residue then top with a D-Earth sprinkle and let sit until it's time for another feed. This is the fun phase of having to take pictures every day or else you don't notice just how big the buds are starting to get day by day! Grow Journal Week 5: Bloom Phase Progress 🌼 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to share the fifth week of the bloom phase in our grow journal! Here are all the details for Week 5: Weekly Progress It's been a typical week of development for the plants. Not much has happened aside from the usual growth. However, I had to reset my watering system due to an error, which involved removing the mulch layer. Since then, I've been closely monitoring to ensure the watering remains consistent. Watering and Control Systems After resetting the watering system due to an error, everything seems to be back on track. I'm observing the system closely to ensure its consistent performance. Challenges This week, the defoliation process has been particularly challenging, even though it usually goes smoothly. There are just too many fan leaves with trichomes this time. Goals and Expectations I am curious to see how the plants will continue to develop over the next two weeks, as this period will give me a good indication of what to expect at harvest. Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! Will post a harvest when both plants have been dried fully an in jars. Hope you enjoy the videos and pictures. Stay tuned.

Another week with good development. Plant liked the LST and is showing off great potential. Smell is stronger and amazing. I am only concerned that I will need to travel and will not be able to leave the plant in the sun directly during the days but hopefully by leaving it on a very clear area of the house with both natural light and the led I have to support at night will be enough for her for 3 days in a row.
