😎 Hey guy's, how's everyone doing, good I hope 😁 So after a short break I'm back with another journal! This time I'm trying Auto's courtesy of 420 fast buds! I'm really excited to see what these seeds can do & produce!!! Especially as I'll be showcasing the new FC 6500 from mars hydro. This little beast boasts some juicy stats so again, really excited to see what it can produce. I'm also ditching the liquid fertilizer & trying soil amendments from living soils. Specialised Auto nutrients with the added extra of barley & worm casts! I've constructed a much better grow area with a lot more room which Is awesome 😍 Even though I was more than happy with my last critical grow, I wish I had more lol 🤣🤣 I'm germinating in a glass of water & then transferring straight to the 'pre cooked soil' ( more explanation on that later on. I'll be growing under a 20/4 light cycle, starting off at 25% light, increasing to 50% once out of early seedling & into veg. Then 100% for flower. Growing in Biobizz all mix & 20 LTR airpots ( a change from my root nurse fabric pots ) I have an ecotechnics evo fan controller which will control my AC RVK fans & heater. The humidifier is A humipro with built in Humidistat. Here we go..........4 beautiful strains to try so join in & follow to see how I go. One ❤️ Grow diaries. Update - 09/06/2021 - cooking The Soil - As I'm using organic soil amendments for this Auto grow, the soil needs to be 'cooked' prior to planting seedling's. This simply requires mixing 20 grams of Grow Auto per gallon of soil, then water. This will activate the nutrients to start feeding the soil. Update - 10/06/2021 - Germinating - Seeds have been soaking now for 18 hrs. Evidence of all tap roots can be seen already.. absolute result! The 420 fast bud genetics are ticking all the boxes so far! Transferred to paper towel & covered with cling film. Will check progress in around 12 Hrs. Update - 11/06/2021 - Germinating Day 2 - 420 ‘FAST BUDS’ is an understatement! Never seen a tap root bust out like that purple punch! Keep saying it….Genetics, genetics, genetics… ‘ The corner stone of any successful grow ‘ Me thinks they’ll be transplanted to their forever home today! Will see how their doing in another 12 hrs! - WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Each plant has been watered/fed, with a glug or two, from a 1 gallon mixture of 1tsp/gal floranova-grow (ph7). Mother plants are definitely ready for a pruning/cloning!

7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

10/27 - Today is technically day 28 since germination. I would normally wait three more days before doing this update, but enough has changed, I figured it warranted documenting it early. Today I did a solution change to half-strength week 3 guidelines per the Dyna-Gro feed schedule from their website. This gave me a ppm of 740 total, including 170 ppm tap (measured using Hanna Primo .5 conversion). This gives me 570ppm (1.14ec) of nutrients. The solution was changed about four hours prior to their nap time (of four hours in length). Shortly after the lights came back on I noticed this discoloration on her roots (as shown above in picture and video). Both ladies in the video were given the exact same solution at the same time and now show noticeably different ppms (Sour Diesel Auto - 770ppm; Amnesia XXL Auto - 720ppm). I'm not sure why they are exhibiting different reactions to the same solution. She doesn't seem to be showing any other negative effects at this point. Root growth is phenomenal and her vegetation has only accelerated since being topped. Just slightly concerned about what to do with the root issue. I have thought about adding Botanicare Hydroguard since the smaller buckets will run slightly warmer in temp. Once they start drinking more, I will bump them up to 5 gallon buckets, but that's not needed at this time. Any advice, questions, or observations are very welcome. This is my first DWC run and first run with Dyna-Gro. Edit: 10/29 - Added 2ml/gal Botanicare Hydroguard as a precaution regarding her potential root issue. Res temps are mid-seventies, so I'd say it's a safe move and some relatively cheap insurance. Edit: 10/31 - PPMs kept increasing up close to 800 from the original 740. Added pH'd water to dilute right close to 700ppm. Would have diluted more, but that was touching the bottom of the net pot. Removed two main fan leaves that were actively shading new growth nodes. Added second Mars Hydro SP150 and raised both to 18" above canopy.

Today (01.11.2022) they 'opened their eyes' (shell cracked). Babies spended one day in a glass of water with peroxide to moist them, then - peat pallet from RQS (sorry, FB, but they're great). Now waiting for sprouts to show up from the pallets hole. UPD: TWO DAYS LATER THEY WERE BORN (03.11.2022) UPD: 05.11.2022 MY TWO FAST BUDS TWEENS MOVED TO FIRM TEXTILE POTS. Coco coir was buffered with BioBizz CalMag and RQS Mycorrhiza was added. And a small amount of RQS Bat guano (only few grams were left from my previous grow) Idk why hp of the substrate is above 6.5. Mb some of the soil I bought was slightly rotted. I heard some bad smell from one of soil bags, but it was very thin and came off when all ingredients was put together. I'll correct soil hp with putting feeding in the future. Ladies sits under one 100W lamp (one of a three segments). Ventilators are off (except one in the air chennel). Now I'm waiting for new week begins. Awesome vegetation period starting!

Buds are swelling up, trichomes thick like sugar dust, and colors starting to pop. She’s almost ready to graduate from schweet treat to heavy hitter dessert!

Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Cant wait to harvest them. Only water right now. Till the harvest. Dense headbud. Lets see what the results will be.

day 70 was harvest day !! really fast strain, 24h light ON really played a big role as well frosty buds and amazing strawberry smell, now lets dry it !!

As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

plants are really exploding, bubba kush is furthest along probably two weeks ahead of plants on the left. Kush is stacking up frost and smelling super sweet. buds just starting to form on C-99 and Dx4(GG4x Chem D)
