I've been pulling the top small fan leaves to allow the side's to catch up. One plant is really tall and stretchy , One plant is very short and compact . The other 4 plants all look very similar to each other at this stage .

Great week this week, inside the tent and out. Carl 2 is doing great, and has mostly acclimatized to the winds and heat of the outdoors. UKBS 2 is seemingly recovering (knock on wood) from whatever was degenerating it's stem. It must have been mold or something similar as about 1/3 of the stem became dead wood and had to be removed carefully. I've been trawling the internet and all sources of horticultural forums I possibly can, and yielded somewhat inconclusive results. Everything from ants, to mold, to stem borers. None of which seemed to have been the case here. In any case, I took a whole ton of cuttings from UKBS 2 and am attempting to root them. Great genetics, and not to sound like a broken record but I'd hate to lose such a vigorous pheno. =-= Inside the tent, things are also going quite well. UKBS 1 is getting quite chunky, seems to be an interesting pheno. As for Carl 1, oh boy. I came to find out that this strain is a real interesting one. According to the breeder, it's a cross of C99 grapefruit x "D" Haze; pheno hunted and backcrossed in the 90s and stabilized over nearly 30 years. Loooooooong flowering times. In other news, the timelapse is out as well. Updates as usual. -6/3/2021 - Busted out the Rebel T5 and took some real nice budshots. Carl 1 is quite frosty, UKBS 1 is quite chunky. Also got a cool upskirt shot. -6/8/2021 - First orange pistils showing for Carl 1, looking real good. The clones of UKBS 2 are all doing well apart from one of them.

I will give them another day or two before flushing I think. The smell is currently fantastic 1/12 There really isn't much to do with these girls anymore other than PH every day and make sure their water levels are consistent to maintain their nutrient levels. Tomorrow I will begin the Flushing 1/13 I decided on one more day of nutrients. I Topped off the Reservoirs and adjusted their PH's to 5.8 as usual. I cleaned out the tent today as well. I can't wait to harvest these buds they are looking great. 1/14 Today is Flushing Day! I will flush them for about 6 days which is very fairly long for a typical DWC grow. I will only PH the water from here on out. 1/15-19 I Flushed these plants while maintaining a stable PH and humidity the best I could. The water level is not important during this because without nutrients you don't need to worry about ratios as long as you just keep the PH stable you will be fine. With a longer flush like this one, you should expect to see death in leaves its ok. I only did this for life reasons, I suggest a 3-5 day flush in DWC. These plant's Trichomes matured fast and harvest time approached quickly. The smell in the tent is very potent and gloves are going to be an absolute must on this chop! I will be hang drying the plants inside the dark grow tent with ventilation to maintain humidity levels. I don't personally have a preference between a slow or fast drying process. This time I will be looking at 3-5 days of hang drying before chopping them into jars for a few weeks of cure using Boveda packs. I'm very pleased with the bud color and smell even though the overall weight will be less than desired I will be growing this strain again immediately. There isn't too much more to add to this week other than the grow is complete and the Dry/Cure process is all that is left. The Banana Purple Punch great strain with a super Sweet and Berries aroma. I had bad issues in the beginning with the development and the grow of the plant. I amost gave up on the seed but she bounced back. She got cut today and put to dry. Give a 10 to the Banana Purple Punch

Flower time! Cant wait to see how she comes out. I have bent the main stem over a couple squares to keep her a little lower and spread out to be part of the scrog without topping her. Seems to have worked great and all the main colas are above the canopy but not too tall the are gonna block the surrounding ladies. She nice and snug in there making herself at home. I am expecting some nice and plump flowers from her as she looks very healthy. The root supplement and the folair feeding does seem to have helped a bit but i'm always cautious for placebo. The weights at the end will tell the tale. I already have quality down so I'm looking to raise the weight without sacrificing quality. I would also like to improve on my smell and flavors, have been steadily improving crop to crop and hopefully will keep that trend going for a long long time. Just a little better each crop with small techniques that add up to fat flowers!! She kinda blends in this week but the next week or two she will stand out again with her unique flowers

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. This clone smells killer omg hash plant/christmas/sweet/heavy skunk. It smells killer and is a decent resin coverage it looks like coming in early like this in week 3 in flower. It filled in the 18"x 24" space i had open just perfect. She gets a heavy feed of canna nutrients @ ph of 5.6-5.7. I think staying on higher side of nutrients and back off if I see burn has been doing good on chimera run and don't tend to b hurting this clone either so full steam ahead! first time grower,random seed in a bag of local bush weed,it seems to be doing ok,signs of little hairs growing on nodes so im gathering its starting to flowet started off with 5% nitrogen for 2 weeks at 1.5ltr per day then went up to 10% nitrogen on same water cycle for 4 weeks now using 9% nitrogen but have upped the P and the K for flowering stage soil is sandy underneath so drains very well,typical western australia sandy soil https://youtu.be/4bxFg8IivZo

So I'm flushing this week, Sunday I used Flawless Finish and watered heavy early, and did a 2nd plain ro flush 6 hours later, I did the same thing Monday. Tuesday I did not give any water at all, Wednesday I flushed the same way with Flawless finish, but water 2 times after that night, I let everything dry Thursday and Friday, It is Saturday, Today I have used only RO water, I am done adding anything. I think I could call it good, but I am going to keep things going after today, tomorrow/Sunday, and Monday, I will not water again, Tuesday the light will not even come on and I will give it a couple days of dark to finish. I could use some tips on how to get some better pics. I try, I really do, but I'm not getting the pics my eyes are seeing, so in the center of the area is all yellow and marooning leaves, and the buds have a pink tint in that area. The trics are getting there, but not yet, I figure by end of week they should be right... almost all cloudy now, a few clear left, but barely any, the few amber here and there, but I'm also not taking a piece to check from the top either, I gettin a look at a few small little buds, near the top, but not the top, I feel like I'm close... , So anxious had to phone a friend to tell me why to wait today... lol, I'll test my runoff ppm's tonight just to be sure, but the way the coco is taking the water makes me think its clean. I'm always ready at the end, Garden of Green seeds have ALWAYS made me look like a great grower. I'm excited, The smells, is very strong, it has a sweeter smell, next week I should have harvesting pics... Thanks for checkin it out

We’re in the midst of the bulking phase now, with a few buds stacking up nicely. Unfortunately, the plant on the left has sparser bud distribution. Compared to other auto genetics, these three plants also show a broad variety in growth structure and phenological traits. Also, overall plant health isn’t entirely satisfying, with high temperatures being the Main cause. The leaves are showing several stress-related issues like mild tip burn, nitrogen deficiency, and some cal-mag problems. But hey—we’re here to grow buds, not leaves! 😄 That said, the fade is to be expected as the plants start to cannibalize themselves for nutrients. The stretch is also in its final phase, so we’re likely 3 to 4 weeks away from harvest. --- Quick rundown on everything else: Watering: 1500ml every third day Fertilizer: According to the BioBizz schedule Light intensity: ~1000 PPFD VPD: ~1.62 kPa Temperature: ~28°C Relative humidity: ~55%

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.
