In the meantime, we continue outdoors From 6. 30AM til weather gets too hot Once it reaches hot temperature and low humidity we bring them back indoors for CFL lights and Air conditioner plus fan Since it's so hot in where we live it's tropical weather, we always have to keep an eye to the hygrometer and the weather in general. So far so good, they're flowering and taking their time but day after day new buds are coming up, we've done some defoliation as well to get rid of those old leaves and the other ones that are too low and not gonna make it so the plant can return that energy into several buds that are already developing. The buds are getting bigger and icy, it seems Delta 9 did its job good. You can smell the fruity odor coming from the bubba buds. I hope they get a little bit fattier to compensate the short height. Can´t wait to taste them :))

Aug 3: woohoo week two of flowering. Plant is definitely flowering and looks to be on its way to a strong finish. Very excited for this one and it looks very promising. Group pic is Cheese in front, Gelato, Gorilla Cookies, and Bruce Banner. Last two are 16 cola manifolds, and the front two are 8 colas. Aug 5: video shows use of 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my latitude each night. Currently getting 2 minutes earlier each night. The far red light at dusk, at the same point in the light cycle each night, causes the plant to go into dark mode about two hours faster. It’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness in a 26 h day. Works indoors and on autos too. Moves up flowering by about 3-4 weeks here. Don’t miss a night and keep it at the same relative time each night. This is sometimes called phyto-forcing. Easier than moving the plants into the garage each night. Aug 6: foliar spray of potassium silicate and Extreme Blend done in early evening. Plants drink a lot when it is hot and they’re this big and have been watering twice a day lately. Aug 7: did another round of compost tea this morning. Aug 9: defoliated the understory to improve airflow and remove shaded bits. Mostly fan leaves and popcorn bud sites with a few small branches that were growing in towards the centre.

We are feeding only once a week, the other 3 are pH 7.0 water only. Looking to harvest this weekend possibly? Most likely another week since I'm only seeing amber trichomes coming from the slightly light damaged top.

just finishing week 4 off the watermelon Zkittlez and if i don't say so myself she's looking brilliant really putting her roots down into this 3 gallon fabric smart pot. she's recovered from her topping lovely which led me to top two more of her bottom nodes which also have bounced back super quick this strain really is here to mess about... already having to defoliate once a week and its not just a few leave its been quite a lot considering her size.

Unfortunately, the weather is not so nice at the moment. So I will probably harvest in the next few days. The smell of the buds is really breathtaking. 💚💚💚

Harvest day 73 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients grow. 31.5.25: Well, this week has been pretty dull 😅 I was hoping to have something to report on by now. I guess maybe next week 🤞 I've just been keeping the pot watered. I watered twice this week, with about 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Once; I used 1ml/2l of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids, the other watering I used .15Tsp Ecothrive Biosys. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. I am planning on either topping or FIMing both plants.
