PhinolaGreen The Eternity Cup 2026 is coming up and I got my Free Sticky Broccoli Auto Seeds and the Green Sensation from Plagron. The seed germinates for me in water and then gets wrapped in kitchen paper. After that, the seedling goes into the pot, more info to follow 😊

I need to make sure she grows the way I want her to and not how she thinks she wants to grow 😸

Not much has happened besides the topping.
I already gave a bit of fertilizer and of course the Green Sensation from Plagron.
Yeah, I'll be uploading new pictures throughout the week, let's see when I can start with the mainlining 😍

The last topping was a few days ago, I think this week she's still in Veg and will switch to Stretch in a week. Just gave her a bit more nutrients. I took out the Green Sensation from Plagron for now since it's specifically for Bloom and I don't want it to block anything in the growth right now 😊

Well, it's progressing slowly, but I've got them looking about how I want. I think she's going to switch to Bloom soon, and now she has 4x Topping behind her. Unfortunately, I messed up the 2nd time, which is why it ended up being 4 tops. But she's holding up well. She's getting a bit more training now, and I'm curious to see if she really explodes in Bloom or stays small; we’ll see 🤷🏻♂️🤭
It almost feels like I'm working with a photo, since I can keep her in Veg for so long 😉😅😄
By the way, I discovered some bugs on the lower leaves yesterday, but I think they came from the leaves having contact with the soil repeatedly. That's why I made them so bare. Just to reassure, the rest of the room is clean as far as I can tell. I'll keep an eye on it 😊
Update on the bugs:
All clear, they are either beneficial insects or fungus gnat larvae. I haven't noticed any signs of fungus gnats on the yellow traps yet 🤷🏻♂️

Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia has left the stresses of the mainlining process behind and is now focusing on developing the buds. I really like this strain so far; it handles stress well, and it's working hard and productively. If I also like the effects, I will probably try it again in the future and let it grow normally 😊
Unfortunately, I have a few issues with Mg due to my tap water; it has already received Epsom salt 🙄

I can't seem to get rid of the magnesium issues, I've already made them look nice again since they were really sad in the meantime. I have to admit that the Sticky Broccoli Auto is my first mainlining plant in an airpot. Cherry Cola RF3 and the Sticky Broccoli Auto were running at the same time, and Thin Mint x Sour Pinot Auto a few days later.
It's a bummer that I'm having issues in the cup, but I've learned a lot from the last 3 plants and I'm still diligently learning so I can apply it correctly with Z-Up Auto and all the others 😄 The nutrient demand for magnesium suddenly spikes, which probably has to do with my tap water. I'm trying hard with Epsom salt, but I'm still not really satisfied.
Otherwise, the Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia looks really great, it's growing just as I imagined, aside from the problems 😅😌😄

PhinolaGreen 11. Week
Hello you lovely people,
Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia still has signs of Mg deficiency that I just can't seem to get rid of. Luckily, it's not producing any more leaf mass, so I would say the damage affects about 20-30% of the leaves. It's also a bit over-fertilized, but that's not a big deal for the last weeks. She's now getting less nitrogen and more additives for the bloom. In the meantime, the Green Sensation from Plagron is back on the menu.
Otherwise, I think she's doing quite well with the LST; I'm practicing different techniques for mainlining on this plant so I can do it better on other plants later. I'm really looking forward to the little indica package and hope for a nice heavy couch-lock effect 🤤🤯
The Greenception GCX4 PWR is currently running 24/0 at 80 watts (40 watts Veg Cluster/40 watts Bloom Cluster), with 2 Aerowave Mini-Fans from Vivosun providing a bit of movement. I can skip the VPD since I never seem to reach the values I need, I feel. I do have a VPD sensor for the room air, but what can I say, I know the values, but they won't help you achieve optimal results with your setup.
I moved her into the Spider Farmer 60x60x180 for her last weeks due to space reasons; the tent door is btw open 24/7, and I have minimal problems with fungus gnats, but hardly worth mentioning. I still have those beneficial insects on the plant, and I'm not quite sure if they're helping me or causing more harm. The lower leaves look typically damaged by thrips, but I don't have any. I would have noticed thrips flying around since I spend a lot of time with the ladies and babble to them with my music... Please don't ask me, currently "Elektrisk" by Marcus and Martinus has been on repeat for a few hours. Either it's the music or maybe the weed I'm consuming when I'm with the ladies watching them grow 🤤😍😅
I'm rambling again so much 🤭🤭😂👋🏻
Have a great start to Thursday 😌
PS: 🐰🍽️😄

Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia has recovered from the magnesium deficiency. I can't get the damage out of the leaves anymore. It's also a bit over-fertilized but that's okay, better that than too little all the time. Otherwise, I really like the plant, it's growing the way I want. It might be a bit slower than the others but that's fine. That's just due to the mainlining and topping.
I've been able to shift the normal cycle of the Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia by almost 4 weeks. I can compare my diary perfectly with the other growers, and theirs is all moving much faster.
But I'm also happy that Sticky Broccoli Auto is taking its time because then I can practice a bit on it.
The light, a Greenception GCX4 PWR, is running at 50% on 24/0. VPD is okay but not worth mentioning, as the values wouldn't really help you anyway.
I'll check in again next week 😌👋🏻😊👌🏻

I had to hang up CO2 bags for the Fastbuds mix pack, and the Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia is benefiting from it too. The light is shining at 100% in the final stretch, we have a temperature of 31 degrees, and of course CO2 xD

We're slowly getting closer to the end. She's not getting any more nutrients now, I think that should be enough. For the next 2 weeks, she'll be flushed, and then after Easter comes the sacrifice 😮💨😄
Most growers are probably already done with their autos, but my Sticky Broccoli Auto's cycle ran 4-6 weeks longer than normal due to the mainlining and training. So it's definitely possible, and I'm happy that despite the issues with magnesium, she handled it well 😌
PhinolaGreen Harvest
Sticky Broccoli Auto from Zamnesia for the Cup is ready to cut. I decided on the harvest today and I really think it turned out great 😌
It has a very good flower-to-leaf ratio, and the bud structure is really very sticky, as the name suggests. I'm curious about the effect. Hopefully, it's not too couch-locking, but if it is, that's okay too. I'm happy to have accompanied this lady on her journey 😊
@DrGruen, Growdiaries responds to the question of whether only Sticky Broccoli diaries are rated at the Cup as follows:
Hi PhinolaGreen,
Only single-strain diaries are eligible for the Eternity Cup. Each diary can include just one strain, and only those diaries that meet this requirement can be entered.
– GD Team 🌱
@GermanGrower416, hey,
I've been working with AirPots for quite a while and I really like them, but handling them is trickier than just a square pot or fabric pot. At the beginning, some soil might fall out, but once the plant has rooted well, hardly anything falls out. The trick is to press the soil against the holes while filling the pot, which minimizes spillage. But you can't completely avoid it 😊
@PhinolaGreen, okay thanks. Yeah, I'm also thinking about switching to Airpots. And if you moisten the soil beforehand, then surely less will spill out. Thank you 😊
@SmallGrowz, mach das ruhig, man braucht zwar 1-2 Durchgänge, um das System dann wirklich auch kontrollieren zu können aber wenn es läuft, haste schöne Nutrients Vampire 😌🤭
Love the competition vibe! She looks super healthy and the structure is really impressive. The branching is perfect for this grow! Good luck in the Cup! 👏🌟
@PhinolaGreen, I'm sorry, but I have to agree with your mom – burning is not good, better to vaporize. I smashed with tobacco/weed bongs for a long time, and eventually, the lungs find it annoying. I've been avoiding tobacco and burning for about a year now and I really notice the difference – just the fact that everything has flavor again.
So, sorry, enough of the know-it-all mode – everyone has to decide for themselves and all that. 🐱🥦🌞
@Kushycat, oh no thanks for the input Kushy. I've already reduced to 1 bag of tobacco per week with the bong, and I keep telling myself that the bong hits so hard and that I really need it right now. I just need 1-2 more vapes so I can suck on that thing all day. But I'm just not quite there yet. Maybe it's still the tobacco and the nicotine. I actually don't smoke cigarettes anymore, just vape, but I haven't managed to make the jump with the weed yet. I'm just really enjoying the bong right now. Mine is only about 25cm tall haha.
@PhinolaGreen, Yeah, all good – as I said, it's a personal decision. I still have a nice Roor bong with a activated carbon adapter and diffuser and stuff like that. I'd sell it to a good home. Unfortunately, the company has closed down :(
If you're interested, I can gladly take some pictures.
