Hey yall! Another week down. A lot has happened. To start, we up-potted from the red solos into my living soil blend that I have been working on for almost a year. It's so full on living creatures and beneficials. I used to have fungus gnats a lot when working with living soil, it's almost impossible to avoid. .. Then enters beneficials; we have black soldier Flys, persimillis predatory mites, definitely earth worms, most likely a mix of night crawlers. No more fungus gnats, I highly recommend using beneficial nematodes, cucumeris and persimillis predatory mites are excellent (swirski predatory mites are expensive). Just look at the Soil Food Web and identify what pest you have, then purchase their predators from a trusted insectary. Anyways I added another 200watt LED and spread out the plants in a 2' X 4' tent. It's extremely dry in my location and having the heat on makes the air even drier. So getting my VPD stable has been an immense challenge. Right now Also we need to be able to add VPD or at least GD needs a built in calculator to help folks with VPD, Vapor Pressure Deficite. As of right now I am sitting at 0.85 VPD, so pretty good for today. I have 4 humidifiers and have had to hang moistened towels on the doors of the room I am growing in. It literally has been a huge challenge to keep the humidity high enough for my VPD to be in range for the young plants I have now. Good thing is my current humidity without running any humidifiers is perfect for the flowering stage, so I can't wait to move this along. As for topping and training; like I said I really want to move these ladies into flowering sooner than later. I have several reasons to do limited training so I can limit my veg time, also getting this crop done as fast as possible is best for my set up. Until I can get a larger house 🏠 😩 because we got a baby on the way 👶 so need to make space. I have made compost tea twice this past week, wetting the soil and also spraying the leaves. My sprayer broke so I ended up pouring the tea on the plants gently, I got worm castings on the leaves lol. Gently rubbing that off once they dried. Also I applied the tea at night. My tea recipe: Reverse Osmosis water, 2 to 4 gallons I bubble that with added minerals for a day Add 2-3 cups of Activated worm castings (To activate the castings I added about 3 gallons of high quality castings with what I consider to be nutrient amendments, SO I add = kelp meal, neem cake, organic coconut flour, organic corn meal, organic wheat flour, and organic cold milled flax seeds and let that sit for a week then add about 2 to 3 cups of that mix to the tea) I also add biology from about a cup of 2 different soil mixes I have around my compost bin, just trying to get a more diverse biology by adding those two different soil sources. And mind you the grow beds I took the soil from has been organic for many years and has a large amount of beneficials and tons of excellent biology. Other than that I bubble that for 12 to 24 hours, with as much air as I can get. I use air stones but you really need to clean them off once you are done brewing. I also have an Air Lift with a large air pump that really works great, K.I.S. Organics sells one that works great or you can build one easily with with PVC pipe and a few adapters from any Home Depot or Lowes. Also I do add DynoMyco to my roots when up-potting. They are an amazing brand that has backed up research, I think they have more propagules per gram of two strains they identified to work great with cannabis. Now having said that, each individual phenotype out of each individual and specific strain/cultivar is going to have different bacteria/fungal strains that it prefers and by growing the same strain, hopefully the same exact cut, and grow 3 to 4 cycles before you truly have the mycelium networks built and fully functional. What I am saying is stop throwing out "used" soil and go over 7 gallons, bigger the better for biodiversity. Stop buying "new" soil, amend your previous beds and pots. You will see a huge difference. d.85 really fading hard, and buds are growing in size. just letting her do her thing, we are taking this to the end. also got my humidity down. d.87 buds are fattening up 😍 all i have to say about that is, bigger boots, bigger roots = bigger fruits. mainlining is possible with auto, as long as you choose a big enough pot size and time the topping and lst. after that part is done, then the auto just needs time to do its thing.

Hello, I am a brand new grower and I wouldn’t mind if anyone helps with this grow and any future ones. I am growing an auto flower in a custom homemade tent till my tent arrives. Hopefully everything goes smooth from seed to harvest.

420Fastbuds FBT2309/Week1 Week 1 update on these new sprouts. Been a week since they sprouted and so far seems good. I did switch from misting the top soil with my sprayer to feeding 500ml of water and 1/4tsp/gal strength General Hydroponics Calimagic. Started to get some rust spots on the leafs so I'll keep a close eye and see what happens this week and decide the appropriate action to take. Over all Happy Growing

Walking her to the the flower room soon..... this is her last week of veg. She remains easy going. There are many nodes. No issues.... I removed potential clones, just in case............

Harvest time, the flowers seem ready. The seeds were given as gifts and this was my first scrog. Given the high summer temperatures I thought I wouldn't even finish, I'm satisfied in the end. a couple of weeks to dry everything and then the fun begins.

26.4.25: The plants were watered with 3 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3, containing the following nutrients:- ♡ 1/2 Tsp Sea K(elp) by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 Tsp Ecothrive Biosys. 27.4.25: I LST'd again by adjusting the tie downs. For FastBuds Mystery seed auto #1 and RQS Northern Lights autoflower, this will probably be the last time I adjust the fabric ties, as they're now well in to flower. Hulkberry was LST'd again today, She is looking absolutely beautiful 😍 Retied some branches down and added a couple of clips. Keeping the canopy as even as possible. 29.4.25: HulkBerry is looking great. Nice green colour, without being too dark. The plant has taken well to the LST training. It doesn't need adjusting much at the moment as the growth hasn't become crazy, just now. I think next week we will be in to flower, she has 1 pistil on the lower branch. 😅 Nb: I have added this week a couple days earlier, as last week was a couple days late, trying to get back on schedule 😅 Thanks for checking my diary and hanging out 💚✌️🍃😊🌱

Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Think these will be done by end of week 8 possibly, adding UV + IR for terpes and pushing for an earlier finish! 🍋

Last time im growing this INDOORS. plant is waaay too big for my tent, she finaly is flowering now and ill have to keep pushing her under the net because it cannot go any closer to these leds.

Ok unexpected circumstances called for a harvest would have liked to leave her another 5-6 days but still amber trichomes 5% but we had a lot of foxtailing so there is new growth with not mature trichomes Can't wait to give her a test drive and I'll update the smoke review and dry bud weight when she's ready!! Thankfully the last few days were cooler so we also got some purple 💜 she's massive!!! So sticky and smells amaziiiiing 😍

I have upped the feed now to about 1/2 strength and the plants are loving it. They're starting to recover from the low stress training last week and stretching upwards. Budding is underway with white hairs, and a distinctive gassy smell on 3/4 of the plants. I'm guessing I've got two phenos - 3x Chemdawg dominant and 1x Hindu Kush dominant. We'll find out when they start to flower fully. Switched to 18/6 from 24/0 on day 36 - now that they're flowering they seem more sensitive to heat from the lights (Also backed the light off a couple inches). This resulted in an immediate growth spurt!
