She’s growing laterally quickly just like the Samsquanch stomper! Lots of leaf tucking has commenced, but no LST yet. Waiting until the lateral branches can reach the edge of the pot and we’ll be set!
After consistent training, she’s got a ring of 8 colas surrounding the main top of 3-4 nodes. Already around 13-15” tall, she’s showing only a few pistils so far. I expect her to go into full stretch very soon, and hopefully she gets huge!
She’s just started shooting out pistils everywhere! Excited for the stretch, but nervous since she’s already as large as my flowering plants. Secondary branches are all tied down now. She has a kind of Chemmy smell to her already as well, outpacing every other plant I’ve grown.
For the most part I’ve been letting this lady go natural, pulling the lateral branches down as the reach the edges of the pot to create two “rings” of even colas. She already smells like gas/chemicals/burnt rubber, and she’s not even partway into flower yet. Ended up stretching vertically so fast I had to adjust my lights due to light stress, she’s the tallest lady in the tent. Major defol already done, waiting for her to get juicy!
She’s getting bushier and frostier by the day! Just a week or so after her last defol, she’s got so much green I had to go in with the scissors again! This time around should open things up enough. Smelling like sweet chemical cologne, centers of the flowering sites are pretty dark so she may go purple!
She’s a beast! As bushy as my gold glue from last round but 3x the heigh and size. I’ve had to go in for defol every week, and she’s still filling back up by the minute. A vast majority of the bracts are beginning to turn purple at the tips, leading me to believe this girl might turn purple before she’s done! Smells like sweet fruit and skunky cologne. Starting to fade here and there, so I’m increasing feed strength to mid-flower and letting her ride it out.
Slowly but surely she’s getting chunkier! After a good flush and starting her in full flower nutes, she’s starting to go purple! All the bracts are pointy and purple, and even the fan leaves are fading! Smells like straight skittles candy if it was a pungent cologne. Both scent and appearance have changed a lot over the last couple weeks of development.
She’s got some of the most unique bud structure I’ve ever seen, along with the most beautiful colors! Fading and thickening up very quickly as the grow winds down. Going to chop very soon.
This lady may just be the best looking plant I’ve ever grown by far. The smell is incredible, and so pungent it fills a room within minutes. It’s like pungent rotten grape scented cologne with notes of skunk and meat. The trichome coverage is unreal, I’m super excited to press some of this once it’s cured. Waiting for a few more amber trichs then chopping in about a week.
This is definitely the darkest colored and the stinkiest bud I’ve grown to date. It’s intoxicating, like cologne musk mixed with strong black pepper and red wine. Extremely pungent, strong gassy cat piss reminiscent undertones. A little airy/larfy, but I’ve heard that’s to be expected with phenos higher in anthocyanin. Still, produced a lot of quality buds rich in terpenes and resin. I’ll be pressing a lot of the larfy/airy material into rosin and leaving the nice mid sized buds and cola tops for vaping. Definitely going to revisit this strain and top it next time.
Your use of pumice prompted me to start looking into it and I think I'm going to give that a try next run. I used straight from the bag FF CocoLoco for my current 1st grow and the main complaint I have is that once it gets wet parts of it get really dense. I'm pretty sure amending with the pumice will do the trick so I was wondering if you do a 75/25 split on your soil to pumice ratio?
