Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Week 3 of flowering is in the books for the Auto Gelato girl from Fast Buds Genetics <3 ... this week I did some minor cleanup with dying leaves, and the lower branches that were being blocked out by the top colas. This girl has recovered exceptionally well after being supercropped the previous week, so excited to see how she'll continue to grow and stack up in the coming weeks! Considering I snapped the stalk while cropping, I was really surprised to see just how well the wound healed up over the week. These plants are awesome! Day 70. Gorgeous plant. Leaves are changing color exactly how the advertisement looks. Fastbuds is dope.

Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiod plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Jet Fuel has just undergone the topping of 8 florets, you can see the 4 fresh florets just cut. We are therefore at 8 very small branches growing, my plan for photoperiod plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the florets to split them, we always take care not to damage the new growing florets. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and in perfect shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I'm a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. In any case, everything is under control and I will demonstrate it to you during the flowering phase. Wait for the Uncle BreadandBuds and see what it does to you. Remember the cold temperature makes the girls absorb food much more slowly than in summer so be careful to give the right amount and to dry the plant in maximum 2 days or you risk imbalances. I really like varieties that change their color. but I haven’t had such experience yet. usually buds change color and not leaves. but this is an exceptional case! I really like it externally. and the smell is just as sweet and delicious as otd! I regret that I did not let her grow more in the growing season. it would make a huge beautiful bush!

I am back online, and another successful week of agriculture Lamby is taking her time while bulking up the stem, I love her short thick fan leaves, they started coiling up and hindering growth where it mattered, thought of defoliation but I promised myself I would only defoliate in September, what I’ve done with all the ladies if to LST all established out the way to all the sunlight to reach the new growth. The other reacquiring motif, is using the main stem as a single root that will covert brunches into stems. Lamby might be sprout at a snail pace however, I am certain she will produce fire numbing bud.

Hey all, These were taken on June 7th and as you can see we have made a lot of progress. They have put on a lot of bud in the last 10 days. Trichomes are thick as you can see in the Pics. They smell pretty strong. Really happy with them. Still just staying with my normal feeding. Will need to start to flush soon. Maybe 2 weeks to go or so!

Final week update I am trimming the plants as they get ripe leaving them under the lights for a few days before I chop them. My theory is that trimming them makes them think they are being attacked by something and what are the plants defense 🤔 to get sticky and stinky 🤔 I do see a difference after a couple days, some more than others but all of them add terpenes and trichomes ❄️🔥❄️🔥 Thank you all for visiting and following along with me...
